More Banquet pictures Anna Farrar was present to present the first Gene Farrar Memorial Surf Fishing Award. Pictured with Mark Wray FISHING TIP: Courtesy of Bob Pride 1. Use circle hooks when sea bass fishing. cause it throws the hook. You will never lose a fish be- 2. Record your catches and pay attention to the date and places every year. Water temp is important as is light (sunny, cloudy), bait or lure, and other variables like drift speed, tide state, etc. After a few years, you will have a personal guide to good fishing by species. 3. Rig wind on leaders on your offshore gear. Terminate on a small Sampo snap swivel that matches the test of the leader. Then you can rig your lures and ballyhoo hooks on short (3 foot) fluorocarbon leaders that you can prebait and store in your cooler. Also try the wind on leaders for striper rods. Thanks Bob for the fishing tip and the slaw recipe.
