HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE POOL! Summer is here once again, and we are excited to get started with all of those fun-in-the-sun activities out at the SLCC pool! To get you thinking about those warm months that are just around the corner, we wanted to provide you with a few updates and an overview of what awaits! Swim Lessons and Swim Team You will find a detailed outline for swim lessons and swim team in this booklet and on the SLCC website pool page. If you choose to take advantage of either of these great programs, plus our Drenched in the Dark Events, just stop by the office (or print from the SLCC website) to get the registration forms. Once completed, return the forms to the Business Office or Pool Office. Please sign up as soon as possible for the swim team. We will be ordering team suits early in the summer and need make sure everyone gets a suit before the first meet! Canopies SLCC offers canopies offer shade and are available to rent on an hourly basis. Each day there are canopies available on a first come, first serve basis, at no charge. Additional canopies are available to rent. The SLCC pool is a popular place and can fill up quickly. If you would like to reserve shelter from the sun, simply call the pool area (616-850-1160) with your requested date and times for use. The rental cost is $5 per hour, charged to your member account. If you rent a canopy and fail to arrive on time for your reservation, your account will still be charged for the requested hours. Be sure to call within 12 hours of your reservation should you wish to cancel to avoid the fee.
