1 July 6-8, 2018 Hosted By: New England Fusion Fastpitch Welcome to the 2018 Annual Tournament. The tournament will start on Friday morning and run through Sunday evening. In the unlikely event the tournament needed to be cancelled due to unplayable weather conditions $300 of the total registration fee will be refunded. All games will be played in Londonderry, Derry, Pelham and Manchester NH. The LAFA Field Complex (6 Sargent Road. Londonderry NH 03053) will act as the tournament headquarters. All teams must checkin with Tony Scalzi --Tournament Director at least one (1) hour before your first game at the Hale Press Box. (1 st blue building on right when entering the LAFA complex.) For teams playing games starting in Derry, Pelham or Manchester, please text the tournament director confirming your arrival to (603) or TOURNAMENT RULES: Tournament Format: 8 Game Guarantee with 6 game Round Robin followed by a two game guarantee on Sunday. o Seeding s will be determined by the follow format: 1. Win-Loss Record (if tied) 2. Results of Head to Head (if tied) 3. Runs allowed (if tied) 4. Run Scored 5. Coin Flip If head to head is not an option; seeding will be based on #1, #3 and #4 if tie still exists seeding will be decided by coin flip. Each Round Robin game will have a 1hr 20 minute time limit. (No new inning will start after 1hr 15 minute but will finish the inning in progress We will not revert back to the previous inning) if the home team is leading at the 1:15 time limit the game will end immediately. 1:25 time limit for Sunday games. Gold & Silver Bracket: No time limit for Semi & Final games Bronze Bracket: 1:30 min time limit for all games except for Final no time limit All Playback games shall have a 1:25 minute time limit, except for final game. No Time limit. If game is tied after 7 innings and time permits the international tie breaker will be used Round-Robin games can end in a tie ( Fri and Sat) Run rule will be as follows: o 10 runs after 3 innings o 8 runs after 4 innings o 8 runs after 5 innings All Round-Robin games (Friday / Saturday) open line-ups (EP) and free defensive substitutions can be used. However, the batting order MUST stay the same. If a team decides to bat all players

2 and an injury occurs and the player cannot continue, an out will be recorded in the players batting order. Teams cannot alter the batting order once the line-up is submitted to the umpire. ( i.e. cannot reduce the line-up from 12 batters to 9 batters) A courtesy runner can be the last out or someone not in the batting order. A courtesy runner should be used for catchers in order to keep the game moving. Last Names are required on Line Up Cards (including substitutions) Each Team will be responsible to keep score and report all final scores to tournament director o o Both Teams should synchronize score and/or substitutions every inning Winning team must text (603) and (603) ( Include team name and score). Any game not reported will result in a 0-0 tie. Every effort will be made to start games on time o Each team should be ready to play 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time to ensure we keep on schedule Home team will be decided by a double flip of the coin for Round Robin games. Highest Seed can decide to be home or visitor on Sunday, On Sunday teams can bat 11. PROTEST COMMITTEE Each team will submit a parent name (not a coach) to be part of the Protest Committee prior to each game for any appeals. The Rules Committee will consist of team representatives and Tournament Director. Team Documentation Requirement: Official USA Softball / ASA Signed Team Roster Proof of Team Insurance Concession Stands: The LAFA concession stands will be open at all times during the tournament. PLEASE NOTE: No BBQ grills are allowed at any of the tournament complex s at any time. NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED AT ANYTIME.

3 Directions to the LAFA Complex Address: 6 Sargent Road, Londonderry NH From the North:Take Rt. 93 South to exit 4 (Derry, Londonderry). At the bottom of the ramp go right onto Rt. 102 West. Go through 4 sets of lights. At the 5th set of lights go right onto Rt. 128 North (Mammoth Road). There is a restaurant on the corner called the Stage Coach). Go north of Rt. 128 about 3 miles and you will hit a set of lights, go straight through the lights. You will then hit another set of lights (about 500 feet past the first), go straight through those. Once you pass through the lights, you will see a fire station, take the right after the fire station (there will be a Londonderry Recreation sign on the corner. Follow this road into the complex (there will be a hard right about 500 feet after you get on this road.) From the South:Take Rt. 93 North to exit 4 (Derry, Londonderry). You will then hit another set of lights (about 500 feet past the first), go straight through those. 5 PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the LAFA complex; games will be played at: Londonderry High School Varsity Field 295 Mammoth Rd, Londonderry, NH Matthew Thornton Elementary School 275 Mammoth Rd, Londonderry, NH Pinkerton Academy ---5 Pinkerton St. Derry, NH Muldoon Park (Pelham Fields 1 & 2) Mammoth Road, Pelham, NH (across from Dunkin Donuts Padden Softball Complex 99 Robinson Rd, Manchester, NH Though the LAFA complex has many fields, we do share the facility with baseball. The facility will be very busy on Saturday and Sunday. Please be courteous and share the space. All teams playing the first game of the day can warm up on the games fields. Please plan accordingly and allow enough time to warm-up and be ready to play up to 15 minutes prior to your game start time. Directions from LAFA Complex: High School Field: Right out of complex. Take 1 st left into the High School. Take 1 st right then an immediate right into dirt parking lot. Field is located down the hill in front of you. Matthew Thornton: Left out of complex. Straight through lights. Take next right into School parking lot.
