Hogy Swimming Tins TRADITIONAL: The easiest way to rig the Hogy Swimming Tin is to slide the nose of the bait right onto the tin itself. There are two grip barbs designed for holding the bait Optional: add some glue WEEDLESS: Our preferred method. Attach the optional bait keeper to the center rigging eye for a weedless presentation. This rigging option will also INCREASE the wobble presentation of the soft bait. Just twist the bait keeper in and the embed hook in body Insert your lead hook, following the same path Finish rigging by inserting the rear hook into the as your first hook. Adjust line so that it s parallel to the hook shank and not twisted. Just the hook eye should be protruding from the nose of the bait. Swimbait Swimbait hooks offer a weedless presentation. Rotate bait onto bait keeper Line up hook and note where it will enter and exit the bait. Insert hook and adjust bait so that it is straight. Bury the hook point so that it cannot pick up weeds. Grip Hook Insert hook into nose of the bait. If you are using a particularly heavy bait such as our 10 Hogy Double Wide (3oz) a drop of glue secures hook in place will aid in casting performance. Finish rigging by inserting the rear hook into the body of the lure at the far end of the hook groove and out the special indentation that ensures proper hook placement. Adjust hooks so that they are running straight. Hogy Jig Heads Place the jighead on top of the soft bait so you can visualize where the hook should enter and exit the bait. Mark the spot with the point of the hook if necessary. Slowly slide the jighead into the soft bait, making sure to run straight through the bait. Push the hook through the marked area on the top, and pull the nose of the bait flush with the jighead. Apply a small amount of glue if desired. Optional: add some glue
