Our journey begins in Portugal s dazzling capital city of Lisbon, where wonderful golf and tours of Lisbon s architectural and historic marvels await. 4 September 3/4: Home Lisbon, Portugal Depart your home city on September 3 for an overnight flight to one of Europe s most beautiful cities, Lisbon, where you are greeted and transferred to the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon. Spend the afternoon at your leisure before our welcome reception this evening September 5: Lisbon Embark Sea Cloud II Golf: Oitavos Dunes Golfers play this Arthur Hills design, which regularly ranks as Portugal s top course, is ranked in the top 100 courses in the world, and annually hosts the Portuguese Open. The course is intended to maximize exposure to three distinct landscapes: an umbrella pine tree forest, dunesland and open coastal transition areas. Views of the Atlantic Ocean and nearby Sintra are visible from almost every hole. Tour: Lisbon Take a panoramic journey through Lisbon, sampling port wine and being serenaded by a Portuguese guitar player. Enjoy views of the Alfama and Castelo Quarters overlooking the Tagus river, then tour downtown Lisbon, the magnificent Comércio Square and the charms of the São Bento and Chiado districts. Continue to Rossio Square, considered the heart of Lisbon s downtown. View the statue of Pombal, the man who rebuilt the city after the earthquake of 1755, and Liberty Avenue Lisbon s answer to Piccadilly. 7 September 7: Cádiz Seville, Spain Golf: Montecastillo Golf Club Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Montecastillo has hosted many of the European Tour s most prestigious events, including the Volvo Masters. The rolling hills of the Andalucian countryside provide the ideal terrain for golf. Tour: Seville From the port of Cádiz, our tour heads to Seville. We visit La Giralda, a Moorish tower with a Christian super-structure; the Alcázar, a Moorish palace rich in medieval legends; and Seville Cathedral, third largest cathedral in the world and final resting place of Christopher Columbus. Those touring will enjoy lunch in the Old Quarter amid the city s winding streets September 8: Gibraltar, United Kingdom Golf: Real Club Valderrama Regarded as the Augusta National of Europe, Valderrama has consistently been ranked in the top 5 courses in Europe and is also ranked among the world s top 100 courses. An abundance of venerable cork, oak and olive trees give each of Valderrama s holes a distinct shape and look. The playing conditions are impeccable and the setting is bucolic. Site of the 1997 Ryder Cup, Valderrama provides a historic golf location as well. Seville, Spain Tour: Gibraltar Today, we have the opportunity to visit one of the most famous geological silhouettes in the world, Gibraltar. The view from The Rock provides a spectacular panorama of North Africa, the Costa del Sol and the Mediterranean Sea. Touring passengers will also delight in a special visit to St. Michael s Cave and the Nature Reserve to see Gibraltar s most famous inhabitants, the Barbary Apes. Memorable Golf Adventures

8 September 9: Day at Sea Nine days on board Sea Cloud II allow us to respond to the most common request from Kalos passengers one more day at sea. Relax as we sail the Mediterranean Sea along the coast of Spain September 10: Valencia, Spain Today s tour begins with a panoramic exploration of this lively city s cultural and historic treasures. We stop to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site La Lonja de la Seda, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, and the Valencia Cathedral, which holds an agate cup claimed to be the Holy Grail. We will also see the modern architectural marvels of Valencia s City of Arts and Science September 11: Valencia, Spain Golf: Campo de Golf El Saler For the traditionalist, El Saler is Spain s best course, and is considered Javier Arana s greatest work. Half the holes work their way through lush pine forests and the rest is true open links land, blending in with mountainous dunes close to the sea. Tour: Spanish Cooking School Before heading to the Valencia Club Cocina Cooking School to learn the methods of preparing an authentic Spanish meal, our Spanish chef will first take us to the Central Market to purchase the ingredients for today s culinary experience. Once prepared, we enjoy the fruits of our labor, paired with just the right Spanish wine

10 September 12: Barcelona, Spain Golf: Royal El Prat Golf Club Though the club was established in 1954, the current site of Royal El Prat dates to the late 1990 s when Greg Norman designed and built this 45-hole complex. With large greens, wide and sometimes plunging fairways, the courses were built to accommodate international competitions. Consistently ranked among Spain s top courses, and Europe s top 100, El Prat will delight and challenge. Tour: Barcelona Barcelona offers a cosmopolitan flavor and some of the best known architecture in Europe. Touring passengers will enjoy a panoramic overview of the city with visits to some of its most notable sites, including the Park Güell, Passeig de Gracia and Gaudí s famed Sagrada Familia September 13: Barcelona, Spain Golf: PGA Catalunya Recognized as one of Spain s top five courses, PGA Catalunya s undulating land, dense with mature trees, is set dramatically against the Pyrenées Mountains. The surroundings are quite different from the courses we play in southern Spain. PGA Catalunya is always a favorite among Kalos golfers. Tour: Montserrat Montserrat is a rugged mountain on the outskirts of Barcelona, where we will visit one of the most popular pilgrimage destinations in Spain, Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey. We will see the statue dedicated to Catalonia s favored saint, the Black Madonna, and tour the expansive and ornate Benedictine abbey, highlighted by a performance by the Montserrat Boys Choir September 14: Barcelona, Spain Home We bid farewell to Sea Cloud II and her crew as we disembark and transfer to the Barcelona Airport for return flights home

16 T E R M S A N D C O N D I T I O N S COST OF THE TRIP INCLUDES Accommodations: Accommodation for one night at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon and nine nights aboard Sea Cloud II. Meals: All meals and cocktails aboard the ship during the voyage American breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner with table wines, afternoon tea and late-night snack; welcome reception; lunches while on golf excursions. Transportation: Transfer from Lisbon Airport to the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon on September 4 and transfer from Sea Cloud II to Barcelona Airport on September 14 (additional charges may be incurred for transfers on other arrival or departure dates); round-trip transportation to golf courses and tour sites in deluxe, air-conditioned motorcoaches. Golf: Six rounds of golf 18 holes per course (weather permitting); practice facility; golf carts or pull trolleys. Golf bag handling and advance set-up at each course. ITINERARIES Hotel, cruise accommodations, golf and sightseeing venues are all subject to change due to circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond our control. Cruise itineraries are subject to change due to government regulations, water conditions, and other factors. The right is reserved to adjust the itinerary as deemed necessary. PHOTOGRAPHY ON THE TRIP The right is reserved to take photographs during the operation of any trip and to use trip photography for promotional purposes. Any traveler who prefers that his/her image not be used must inform Kalos Golf in writing. RESPONSIBILITY Kalos Tours, Inc. (doing business as Kalos Golf) and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, and subcontractors act only as the agent for the travelers to any transportation carrier, hotel, restaurant, ground operator, or other suppliers of services connected with this trip ( other providers ), and the other providers are solely responsible and liable for providing their respective services. We can assume no liability for any damage to, or loss of, property and injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly, by any act or omission, including but not limited to any defect in aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle.
