1 NEWS RELEASE No SP67 Release date: October 17, 2011 SRI Sports Introduces the New XXIO7 Irons Faster head speed for greater distance, providing a more satisfying swing for the players, psychologically enhances players to want to hit more SRI Sports Limited (Head office: Kobe, Japan; President: Yasushi Nojiri) is pleased to announce the latest introduction to its new irons for XXIO7, the seventh generation of XXIO golf clubs, scheduled to be released in stores on December 9, The MSRP is 184,800 ( 176,000 excluding tax) for eight piece set (#5-9, PW, AW, SW) with MP700 carbon shafts and 151,200 ( 144,000 excluding tax) for the same set with NS Pro 920GH for XXIO steel shafts. 1 Also available are a five piece set (#6-9, PW) and individual clubs (#4, #5, AW, SW). Popular among a wide range of golfers, the XXIO series has been number one in annual sales 2 for twelve consecutive years in Japan since its first debut in Using XXIO clubs, Sakura Yokomine and other professional golfers have scored numerous tour victories. The new XXIO7 has undergone a major evolution, featuring new technologies that respond to golfers demand for clubs that offer greater distance and an easier, more satisfying swing. The XXIO7 series irons feature SRI Sports Limited s original Dual Speed Technology 3, which maximizes the effect of the golfer s swing. A newly developed shaft delivers higher head speed than the previous model. At the same time, the heavier club head produces more kinetic energy on impact, resulting in higher ball speed.
