He carries a penalty but he has the scope for further improvement in this sphere having proven to be fairly useful on the Flat. Beaufort West is best judged on his fourth to Bright Forecast at Newbury at the end of November, and wasn't disgraced at the same track subsequently. The dual Champion Hurdle hero has landed this contest in both seasons en route to Cheltenham and connections have opted to take the same path towards another defence of his Festival crown. Vision Des Flos is best of the remainder but was beaten 21 lengths by Nicky Henderson's star in the Fighting Fifth.
