3 3 Welcome Everyone, It is with great pleasure that I offer this catalogue to you; I am proud of the selection of Clydesdale Horses for Sale & the enormous amount of harness and equipment that is also being offered. Rarely does such an opportunity present itself to buy working & young educated horses of this quality, with such a selection of carts, wagons, harness and saddlery on offer, all in the one place at the same time. I would particularly like to thank all those who have helped Susan and me with the horses, particularly Kenny Scott & Wayne Bunyan for their willingness to share their knowledge and assist me in educating the youngsters. 6 Lot 3 Bunyan Katie 6 Katie waiting to go in the shafts Katie was born in 2008, is bay & was educated by Wayne Bunyan, Millmerran, QLD. As a 4 year old Katie won the World's Championship Bronco Branding Contest at Mount Isa & won again at Camooweal. As well as a ridden stock horse, Katie has worked in low chains on a slide, a single shaft wagon, double shaft wagon in pairs & as a nearside leader in fours pulling our big English Farm Wagon. 7 Lot 4 Oak Range Ollie 7 Oak Range Ollie, registration 7662, started off his Stud Life on Coolmore Thoroughbred stud where a group of draught mares were kept as nannies. The grooms used to hop on Ollie bareback when it was time to move paddocks, our Grandchildren have been known to sit on him in the paddock without a saddle or bridle. 8 Lot 5 Tina 8 Tina is a bay mare, she is our biggest & heaviest brood mare with excellent confirmation. She was bred on a large Station in South Australia that has been breeding Draught Horses for 50 years. She is represented in the 2012 fillies by Lady Tina and the 2013 fillies by Countess Tina. His mother, Candice has a magnificent temperament & his father, a most desirable disposition. Lucky Knight, his father, was a most successful Stallion in the Show Ring winning many ribbons as well as Reserve Champion in Brisbane. This young Stallion has been through his initial education, we have been pleased with his quiet nature & willingness to learn & he promises to grow into a beautiful horse. 26 Lot 19 Captain 26 Captain waiting with Michael to be harnessed for the wagon Captain was the Curtain Opener at the RM Williams Australiana Spectacular on the Gold Coast. He is equally at ease under saddle or in the sharves. He is a big bay horse standing 17.1 ½ hands, but is definitely that gentle giant Clydesdales are often referred to. He is happy pulling a slide, logging, in the single horse wagon, or as a leader or shafter in the big wagon we have, using four horses. He is a confidence builder for someone starting off & his endearing nature wins everyone over. Captain & Bounce are rare finds being fully educated working horses with a lot of experience, so don t miss out on these 2 geldings. Any buyer would be most fortunate in taking Captain home.
