1 Chicken Turtle Soup Will you be dinner tonight? Story: You are a rare and intelligent tortoise in a kitchen on a royal cruise ship bound for a glorious voyage to Galapagos Island. However, the people on the ship see you no more than a 5 star exquisite meal for themselves. You must escape the confines of the kitchen, to avoid being cooked and eaten and evade the chefs and cruise ship attendants until you can reach the island and make an escape to turtle haven. On the way there, you will meet various other rare and exotic animals in order to aid your journey to safety. However, not all the animals on the ship are out to help. Characters: - Tortego: Tortego is the main character of the game; he is a rather intelligent tortoise that somehow ended up on the ship. Upon waking up on the ship s cargo bay, he knew that something was wrong and that he had to escape. Back on his native island on Galapagos, Tortego was an avid practitioner of Snapping Turtle Kung Fu as well as turtlejitstu; he is also an expert at the art of turtling. Tortego must get off the ship in order to return to his home back on the island. - Chicken Charlie: Chicken Charlie is a cowardly chicken that has been on the ship evading capture for so many odd years. Although he cowers at the slightest noise and refuses to accompany Tortego on certain quests, he knows the ship inside out and can give Tortego tips if he gets lost. - Rabbi Shaman: Rabbi Shaman is a recently captured rabbit. Rabbi Shaman is a wise Rabbit elder from his tribe and usually has sage advice for Tortego. During his trip to find a rare and powerful shamanistic herb around the desolate regions of the Himalayas when he was suddenly knocked out. He woke up on the ship some weeks later. Rabbi Shaman knows powerful spells with basic herbs and can power up Tortego once certain recipes are obtained.

2 - Sam the Whale: Sam is a gentle but slightly insane whale. He has an excellent sense of hearing. The other whales shun him from society because of his slightly awkward behavior, so he swims up next to ships to pretend that they are other whales. Sam knows a lot about the surroundings and hears a lot from the ship, he knows various information about the ship and its surroundings, such as where it s headed, how far it is from the destination, what is occurring with the passengers and crew etc. He is usually found swimming next to the ship and creating conversation with it. - Predator: An unknown caged predator in the dark confines of the storage room, he is long overdue for the kitchen, but after many failures and injuries attempting to get him out of his cage, the chefs and crew became too terrified to handle him anymore. He is mentally unstable and prone to erupting in anger. He always talks about eating the rest of the animals on the ship and committing acts of violence and murder. He possesses intimate knowledge about the chef and his assistants since he has survived the most encounters with them and will sometimes have useful information about them. - Mob Mauser: The mob boss on the ship, he leads an army of mice to steal food from the kitchen and hunt down the others. Mob Mauser is highly intelligent and cunning, being able to avoid extermination and capture for many years. He uses his mob muscle as well as his highly crafty mind to get his way. He is very suspicious of Tortego and does not want to give up anything in order to allow him to escape. Mauser has many other rats and mice across the ship defending key points; he is neither friendly towards Tortego and his friends or the humans. Mauser has created a city of mice and other animals throughout the various corridors and cabins of the ship, although they find shelter there, they are extremely oppressed by Mauser s rule. - Chef: Chef is not a bad guy, although he is out to kill Tortego and his friends and serve them to the next people on the ship. He gets easily frustrated when he loses animals and sometimes he will relentlessly track them down. New and rare animals are sometimes brought in by him that may have insight on Tortego s quests. - Ship Captain: A kind hearted vegetarian Captain who loves animals. He occasionally helps Tortego and his friends out - Mouse Grunt: Mouse grunt is one of the many grunts scattered throughout the ship, and they have been ordered to take out any suspicious characters that may jeopardize the Mauser organization. They will not take kindly to Tortego and will attack him if spotted

3 - Rat Grunt: A large burly grunt, much more powerful than the standard mouse grunt. These are the assassins of the Mauser army and will kill on site. They are cold and efficient killers and are sent on special missions by the mob boss. - Roombas: Roombas are scattered out throughout the ship to clean up the ground. Though they are mindless, Tortego must be weary of them since they are very powerful and cannot tell the difference between trash and turtle. - Chef Assistants: These are the assistants of the Chefs, when the chef loses an animal, they are sent out the search the entire ship for the animal because if they fail, the chef will throw them off the ship. These guys must be avoided completely. - Crew Members: They will send an alarm to the Chef Assistants if Tortego is spotted - Passengers: Unknowing passengers, sometimes they will rat Tortego out if spotted. Locations: - Cargo Bay: This is the cargo bay of the ship, this is where Tortego starts out and is the place where Tortego can come back, restock and rest up. Rabbi Shaman and Chicken Charlie hide out here since there are a lot of boxes and corners to hide in. - Kitchen: The Death zone, this is where Chef and his assistants reside, proceed with the upmost caution here. Many of the quests and objectives are accomplished here. - Refrigerator: This is where the chef stores all his material, many rare herbs and items may be found here but Tortego must get in from the kitchen - Deck: This is where Tortego meets the whale, The deck has many passengers and crew members. - Captain s Quarters: This is where the Captain resides, sometimes he will help you out, other times he will be sleeping or drunk. - Cabins: This is where Mob Mauser sets up his operations, Cabins also holds the passengers during the night. Mauser does have many guards stationed around this area. There are numerous cabins with different locations in each one. Mob Mauser practically

4 built up a city here for animals, although it is very corrupt and run by him. The majority of the gameplay, Tortega will be exploring and unraveling the mysteries of the game through here. Game Genre: 3D Espionage, Beat em up, Sandbox, Puzzle, RPG Gameplay: - Gameplay is a 3 rd persion, 3D espionage Beat em up with some elements of Puzzle and RPG. o Espionage aspect is dictated by avoiding the humans, chefs and certain Mauser Mob guards o Beat em up aspect is dictated when Tortego has to beat up large numbers of mobs o Puzzle elements are used when needed to solve a way to get into a certain area, to rescue an unfortunate animal or gain a certain rare herb o RPG element is dictated by the players choice on what to upgrade in Tortego s arsenal. - Throughout the game, Tortego must avoid all humans except the vegetarian captain, who is a friendly. The espionage part of the game is to get rare items from the kitchen, such as knives, rare herbs and spices or food powerups. The beat em up part of the game is where Tortega fights the Mauser Mob or the random Roombas that patrol the hallway. Although it is recommended sometimes to avoid the mob or the Roombas, Tortega can fight them and gain experience to gain new fighting techniques or espionage tactics. - To gain certain powerups, such as more health, a harder shell, more strength or speed, you must infiltrate the kitchen and steal rare herbs and spice recipes and hand them over to Rabbi Shaman and allow him to perform a shamanistic ceremony. Controls: - WASD- Standard Moving keys - Mouse- Look/move in a certain direction.. - Left Click- Attack A combination of attacks can be achieved by continuous clicking and a trained cursor on the target. Game is lenient with the aiming, and auto-aim is given to a certain degree. The more attacks that are chained up, the stronger the attack and the more experience points are added towards the experience bar. - Right Click- Defend- Tortego can hide in his shell during this period, this gives him added bonus defense to small attacks from rats and roombas but no protection against humans. He is also less noticeable in his shell to others.

5 - Left+Right Click- Attack Spin- Allows Tortego to simultaneously attack and spin in his shell, during this time he cannot move but it can be helpful to fend off multiple oncoming attackers, this also fends off any humans that grab him. - Space- Jump- Allows Tortego to jump over certain obstacles. - Center click+ WASD- Running is achieved by holding the center click and a direction.
