1 Fall has come and it is time to ride into the mountain pastures and bring down the herd and get back to the ranch in time for a good Thanksgiving dinner. As you crest a hill you spot rustlers rebranding one of your steers. There are too many of them to catch and hang so you decide to brand them with lead and send them to blazes right where they are. Pistol-10, Rifle-10, Shotgun-4+ Pistols, rifle and shotgun staged on the platform shelf Starting Position: Shooter starts standing at platform shelf waiving both hands in a menacing motion Starting Line: That s MY steer you re brandin Rifle-engage targets in two diagonal Nevada Sweeps one on targets 1-3-5, the other on targets starting at either end Pistols repeat rifle instructions Shotgun-engage the four poppers until down 1

2 It was a good thing you caught them rustlers before they could brand your cattle but the bad thing is some of them got away and are going for help. Best you catch up with them before they gather too many of their gang. You follow their trail to the line shack where you see lots of horses tied up and smoke coming out of the chimney. There are a lot of them in there and your going to need a slight diversion to get the upper hand. Some dynamite oughtta do the job! Pistol-10, rifle 10, shotgun-4+ Shotgun staged on the shelf, rifle staged in mercantile doorway pistols holstered Starting Position: Shooter starts with back to the wall between door and window of the line shack, holding stick of dynamite in hand. Starting line: Fire in the hole! toss dynamite through the window, and move to doorway Rifle- double tap a rectangle, sweep the 6 hanging targets then double tap the other rectangle Pistols sweep on the four larger targets from either direction Shotgun: engage targets in any order until down clays must be obviously broken no magic BB! 2

3 You successfully cleared the line shack of them rustlers but now you have another problem. All the noise from the dynamite and shooting interrupted an Indian marriage ceremony going on just over the next rise. It seems Chief Buffalo Hide was marrying off his son Buffalo Chips to Princess Pretty Ugly, a maiden from a nearby tribe. Truth is, ol Buffalo Chips got a good look at his bride for the first time and decided it would be better to die a warrior s death than have to marry Princess Pretty Ugly. So he rides off in the direction of the shooting. You see him coming with some of the other warriors who figure if Buffalo Chips dies, they are next in line to marry the princess and figure they are better off dying with Buffalo Chips. Pistol-10, rifle-10, shotgun-4+ Pistols holstered rifle and shotgun staged on table Starting Position: Shooter starts behind the table with one hand on hip, the other shading his eyes looking over the horizon. Starting Line: Oh Chip! It s buffalo Chips!. Rifle: Pendulum Sweep on the 5 targets ( ) or ( ) Shotgun: engage targets until down Pistols: Repeat Rifle instructions 3

4 You finally make it back home after all the shooting and killing, and your wife starts yelling at you for not bringing home a turkey for dinner. You walk out behind the house and you don t see any turkeys but you do see a lot of other critters so just to please her you decide you re going to bring home a variety hoping she will cook something. Just as you fire your last shot, you scare up a turkey. You grab your rifle and take a shot at it. Pistol-10, rifle-10, shotgun- 4+ Pistols loaded and holstered, shotgun staged on Puddleville Livery table, rifle staged on table on left side of the livery. Starting Position: Shooter starts Livery doorway, hands relaxed at side. Starting Line: Time to shoot something for supper! Shotgun - engage the four knockdowns in any order until down Rifle - Triple-tap sweep on rifle targets then one on the turkey Pistol Triple-tap sweep the pistol targets then one on the turkey 4

5 After that fine dinner you wife cooked for you, not sure which animal it was, you decide to sit on the porch and watch the sun set. Just about the time you get comfortable the biggest outlaws you ever saw walk up and start to give you grief about the animals you shot for supper. Time to make them go away. 6 While you were busy Stuffing yourself, some of them rustlers what got away have managed to steal your cattle and load them on the train to Kansas City. You re gonna have to stop that train and get your beef back. Once the shooting starts the rustlers pile off the train in your direction. Looks like you re gonna be busy for a while. Pistol 10, Rifle 10, Shotgun 4 Pistols holstered, rifle staged on the table shotgun in the Zack Rack. Starting Position: Frying Pan in both hands at the Zack Rack Starting line: Where s the Beef? Shotgun- engage the four knockdowns in any order from the Zack Rack. Restage the shotgun or take it with you Rifle & Pistols- engage the four targets with five rounds each in any order.
