12 1 2 CARBON TE BLACK AND UNSURPASSED. As early as 1990, STEVENS banked on carbon for frames. So, in total, we have more than 20 years worth of experience with this wonderful material. Every carbon frame from our company is conceptualized and developed by us. Our partners in Asia assemble them by hand to our strict specifications. Only this way can the unique material properties of carbon be utilized to their full extent. An example: A rear assembly with maximum lateral stiffness for optimal power transmission but with vertical flexibility for high comfort. Add to this dropouts or internal and headset bearing design, all masterpieces made of carbon engineered in Hamburg. CARBON RECYCLING. Since 2011, there has been a carbon recycling plant in Stade. Stade is practically around the corner. So it is only consistent with our philosophy that we immediately decided to take part. After working out the kinematics, the STEVENS engineers presented their colleagues at Fox with a far-reaching assignment: 'We need a spring strut that highlights the character of the Glide to its full advantage'. This bottom bracket area withstands any acceleration, because down- and seat tubes are designed with maximal width and because the Press Fit inside bearing offers a whole 92 mm shell width. OLOGY CARBON FIBRES IN PEAK FORM.
