Adjacent to the In Grid/Out Grid 2. ADMINISTRATION 1. The Classes, Age and Weight Divisions listed below are permitted to Compete at this Meeting. Class names as used in the 2016 Australian Karting Manual or approved Sportsman Class Names must be used. COMPULSORY COMPETITION CLASSES DIVISION WEIGHT Briggs & Stratton Championship A 190 kg Briggs & Stratton Championship B 190 kg Note: Consolidation of Class Rules (Competition Rules - Chapter 1, Rule 9) may be applied. 2. ENTRIES 2.1. Entries Open: Once supplementary regulations have been approved Pre Entries Close: 7.00pm Sunday 24th July 2016, $50.00 late fee applies after this date Entries Close: 8.20am 31/07/ ENTRY FEE 3.1. 3 Payment at the Track Will be accepted by; 5. MINIMUM ENTRIES Cash Credit Card Approved Cheque is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received 5.2. If a Class or Division is cancelled, the Entry Fee may be refunded at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. 3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING 1.1. The event will consist of one (1) race only. There will be one (1) 5hr:55 min race on Sunday only. This race is time limited and will finish at 5:00pm Sunday if the required 5hr:55 min race is not completed prior to this finishing time. The race will commence with a standing start The starting grid for the race will be determined by; one 10-minute timed session for A & B grade The fuel you qualify with will be the fuel you start the race with. There is no refuelling from the start of qualifying until 30 minutes into the race. All Karts are required to cross the start/finish line twice (without pitting) in qualifying. The winner of the race will be the kart/team that achieves the most number of laps at the completion of the specified time period and receives the chequered flag first 1.2. D Grade licence holders can take their qualifying grid position if they are one of the qualifying drivers. Otherwise D Grade licence holders must start rear of field Any team which jumps the standing start, breaks formation or starts prior to the start signal being issued, will be given a drive through penalty. 2. ACCESS TO CIRCUIT 2.1. Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 6.00am on 31/07/ DRIVERS BRIEFING 3.1. Time: 8.30am Location: out grid 4. FUEL Caltex Vortex 95 or 98 is the control fuel for this meeting, to be purchased from a Caltex service station no more than two days prior to the event. Fuel must be contained in 20Ltr Yellow or Red fuel containers with your kart number displayed on the container. Your fuel containers, receipt, with kart number nominated on receipt must be brought to the fuel bay so you can be marked off. You will be issued with a token for each container of fuel you provide. This token is to be presented at race entry. No tokens and your race entry will not be processed. Competitors must supply their own fuel for practice. The amount of fuel you will need to purchase for this event will be 35 Litres Each team will need two or more PLASTIC 20Ltr fuel containers 5. Minimum Number Of Drivers 5.1. The minimum number of drivers for the event is 2. Cross entering of drivers between teams is not permitted. 6. Pit Stops and Compulsory Driver Changes 6.1. The race will require teams to complete; 9 pit stops (including the stop at the end of the race) with a minimum of 0 fuel stops. The number of fuel stops for this race is open.

4 During the race, no driver is permitted to drive for more than 60 minutes without a driver change. A driving stint does not include weighing, or mechanical repairs noted by a scrutineer. A minimum break of at least minutes should be taken in between driving stints. Please note: The location of the track/pit timing loops vary from track to track and it is the team/drivers responsibility to know the location of these loops and how this effects the measurement of the 1 hr max, driver stint. Time keeper s decision is final. There will be a computer lap penalty of 5 laps for each breach of this rule. 7. Parc-Ferme Prior to qualifying, karts are to go to refuelling bay with empty fuel tanks. After receiving fuel, karts are to remain 7.1. in Parc Ferme and karts may not be taken back to the pit. Competitors/pit crew may work on their karts while in Parc Ferme, in an area directed by an official. After racing, Karts are not to leave Parc Ferme until released by an official. 8. Number of tyres 8.1. Prior to the race, the number of prescribed tyres is open For the race for this meet, only one (1) set of prescribed Dunlop SL1A dry weather tyres 8.3. Two (2) sets of Dunlop KT6-SLW1 wet weather tyres are permitted Damaged or worn out tyres (by the way of force majeure) must be reported to and be inspected by a Scrutineer or official prior to the kart leaving the grid/impound area. Replacement(s) will be at the competitors cost. 9. Kart Fuel System All kart must have a 7 litre line marked on their fuel tanks by scrutineering The 7 litre fuel level must be clearly and permanently marked on both sides of the fuel tank. Scrutineers may conduct random fuel level checks 9.2. Hand operated, in line Fuel Primer Bulb, part number Yamaha 6y ,6mm primer bulb, or equivalent are permitted. Maximum number of 1 per engine Fuel filters: Maximum fuel capacity of all filters in total is not to exceed 60ml of fuel 9.4. Fuel Line: Maximum ID of 6mm or ¼ inch It will be considered a serious offence to deliberately tamper with the fuel tank and fuel system to try and increase its capacity 10. Carburettor/ Air Filters Air filters are compulsory and must be fitted, any fitting from the carburettor to the air filter is a non tech item 11. Final Drive Sprocket Final Drive Sprocket (rear sprocket) is 71 teeth 12. TROPHIES & PRIZES Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Briggs & Stratton Division A & Division B st, 2nd and 3rd etc in each division will be determined by the teams that have achieved the most to least laps and cross the finish line first at the completion of the event. 15. The TEKA Endurance Kart Series use the following point score: Teams will receive 20 championship points for entering each event DNF Points will be awarded to karts that finish at least 75% of the race, DNF points will be HALF the points of the lowest placed kart in your division No Bonus points will be awarded Position 1 st 2 nd 3 rd 4 th 5 th 6 th 7 th 8 th 9 th 10 th 11 th 12 th 13 th 14 th Points Position 15 th 16 th 17 th 18 th 19 th 20 th 21 st 22 nd 23 rd 24 th 25 th 26 th 27 th 28 th Points Position 29 th 30 th 31 st 32 nd 33 rd 34 th 35 th 36 th 37 th 38 th 39 th 40 th Points The series shall be scored on an outright basis for all teams competing in the Briggs & Stratton Championship A and B grades, scoring points for the outright position achieved with the exclusion of any N grade teams TEKA Division B teams with more than (2) two drivers are permitted a maximum of (1) one TEKA Division A driver, or AKA A Grade Licence holder The organisers reserve the right to grade teams at their discretion into Briggs & Stratton Championship A or B Division or N (Division N). Teams that have completed upwards of 3 rounds in Championship B grade with a Championship A grade classed driver, will be moved into Championship A grade if the Championship A grade classed driver is driving in the B grade team. A class of a driver is based on the discrepancy of the TEKA committee TEKA Division N is not eligible for series points and must start at rear of grid. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. Pit Area 1.1. Speed limit in the pit area is restricted to 15kph, to be measured by radar screen and/or by the pit lane official. Penalty for exceeding this speed limit will be determined by the officials, and can include a stop-go penalty for the

6 first offence, 5 lap computer timing penalty for a second offence and a 10 lap penalty for a third offence. During the event (including practice, qualifying and race) only the driver getting out of the kart, the driver getting 1.2. into the kart and one pit crew are permitted in the pit area. Once a pit stop has been completed they are to leave the pit area immediately During practice, qualifying or the race, the pit area, break down lane (driver change area) may be closed to all competitors for reasons of safety, forced majeure or to ensure fairness to all competitors. A virtual safety kart will 1.3. be deployed for this period. When the pit lane re-opens those teams wishing to complete a drive through or driver change may do so but the exit will be closed until the last kart remaining in the freight train has passed the exit. You must rejoin on the back of the freight train in the order you leave the exit chute. The fuel bay remains closed. The one-hour driving stint will be extended during this time. 2. Driver Change Area No Mechanical repairs are permitted in the driver change area. The only work permitted on a kart in this area is 2.1. chain lubrication or tyre pressure adjustment using a hand pump or air bottle and tyre pressure gauge. Tools required for lead/ballast changes are permitted in this area and all items must be removed to a safe location immediately after use. Any breach of this rule may incur a penalty of up to 5 laps for a first offence. 3. MEDICAL SERVICES Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. Pit Crew with trolleys will not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying Retrieval of karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course 4.3. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal or Clerk of Course and then only if wearing a HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. 5. ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS 5.1. No animals allowed anywhere within the facility with the exception of service dogs (e.g. sight, sound, or support dogs) No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make own arrangements No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the circuit No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting No alcohol is to be consumed in the paddock area whilst racing is in progress 5.6. Power is not available in the pits.
