3 ICTSF 13th World DTL Championship AUSTRALIAN CLAY TARGET ASSOCIATION NATIONAL GROUND, WAGGA WAGGA 25th 27th March 2018 This production is a pictorial narrative of the 13th ICTSF World DTL Championship which were held in Wagga Wagga on the 25th 27th March The Championship was a great success with entries initially making up a full capacity field. Unfortunately because of withdrawals, a replacement list which proved to be too small to fill the empty placings and the fact that nominations on the day were not allowed, a total of 722 competitors made up the final field. Our International visitors were made up of 88 New Zealanders, 8 South Africans, 23 were from England, Wales had 5 competitors, Fiji 2, Ireland 13, French Polynesia 7, Northern Ireland 18 and France 5. We also had 6 competitors from the United States but these shooters were not able to compete in the Teams Match as the US is not a member of the ICTSF. Of the 722 shooters 99 were Super Veterans, there were173 Veterans 55-65, 122 Ladies and 102 Juniors and the grades were as follows; AA 455, A 164, B 76 and C grade 27.The competition as expected was at a high standard following a very successful National Championship event. It was tight at the top of the leader board in all categories of the competition. This special edition of the CTSN is produced and typeset by Jim and Judy Shepherd of Ironbark Graphics, the photos were taken by Jim and also Alex Heffernan-Power, their 3 AUSTRALIAN CLAY TARGET SHOOTING NEWS JUNE 2018 SUPPLEMENT
4 expertise in taking the photos allows the Association to produce a quality digital publication for your enjoyment. We also thank Luke Luckhoff for his photos loaded directly to the ICSTF website. The Ironbark Graphics team collated and compiled this publication giving each and every ACTA/ICTSF member and participant the opportunity to download and save their very own history of the 13TH ICTSF World DTL Championship or indeed print it in colour to capture the event. This digital publication shows how quickly and efficiently a magazine can be turned around when produced digitally. On behalf of the ACTA and ICTSF we trust you enjoyed our Australian hospitality and the ICTSF event, many friendships are made in the name of sport, we hope to cross paths again in the future at National and International shooting events. We also acknowledge and thank our generous sponsors, whose contributions helped make the World Championships such a great success.
