4 Stage 1 Low Cover Course Designer: Randy, Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club SCENARIO: You are the basketball equipment manager. You ve just left the 73 rd game of the NBA regional playoffs in Miami where the Heat lost to the Magic and the neighborhood is in a riot. All your equipment is in the car and your bag and you must get it to the FINALS. START POSITION: Gun holstered, loaded to division capacity with gym bag on weak side and foot touching wall with hands relaxed at sides. STAGE PROCEDURE: At signal engage T1 while moving to cover at P2 then engage T2-T4. Bag must be put down behind cover at P2 or P3. Move to P3 and engage remaining targets from UNDER vehicle. 5 Stage 2 - It s Only PIZZA! Course Designer: Randy, Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club SCENARIO: You and a buddy are heading for a pizza and need some cash. At the ATM kiosk, you are suddenly attacked by the extremists from the APDL (Anti-Pepperoni Defamation League). START POSITION: At P1 with wallet in right hand and left hand on ATM machine. Gun is holstered and loaded to division capacity. STAGE PROCEDURE: On signal, throw wallet at threat then push your unarmed friend to the ground then engage T1 with four shots. Engage T2-4 from P2. T5 may be engaged by advancing and using barrels as cover. 6 Stage # 3 Call AAA (DARK) Course Designer: Don Wakefield, Hernando Sportsman s Club SCENARIO: Your car broke down in a rural area. You were able to get your cell phone through to summon assistance. While you are waiting, a bad guy with two dogs appear. He is holding a machete. He says, "I'm going to cut you up and feed you to my dogs" START POSITION Gun loaded to IDPA & SCORING: Vickers Count holstered. Start with wrists above shoulders, TARGETS: 3 of IDPA Paper facing down range at position A SCORED HITS: Best three per target. t STAGE PROCEDURE: Upon start signal engage T1-T3 with two rounds each in tactical sequence while moving to cover behind a tree, when behind the tree engage each target with one round to the head only. 7 Florida State Championship 2012 Stage # 4 Double Mover Course Designer: John Calhoun, Andy Maluke Hernando Sportsman s Club SCENARIO: Your POS car breaks down (again) START POSITION: Gun loaded to IDPA, hands on marks at position A. STAGE PROCEDURE: Upon start signal engage T1 & T2 from that position with two rounds each, the popper, then while moving to the other position, the mover. When reaching positions B & C engage T4-T6 with two rounds each. T3 (mover) is a disappearing target so there are no FTN s on that target. T3 (mover) cannot be engaged except over the roof of the car and while the shooter is also moving. Standing still to shoot the mover is a procedural. Round dumping on the mover is a FTDR (over 4 rounds). SCORING: Vickers Count TARGETS: 6 IDPA Paper, 1 Popper SCORED HITS: Best two per target. 8 Stage 5 - Light em up! Course Designer: Dave Jenkins, Hansen Range Scenario: While at Port of Tampa you notice some armed bad guys planting bombs around a fuel dump. You take cover behind a shipping container. START POSITION: Standing behind wall completely covered from all targets. Gun loaded holstered and concealed. STAGE PROCEDURE: On signal engage P1 and P2 through barrels to start a "fire". Engage targets as they become available. T2 is a swinger and can be seen at rest, T3 is a drop turner that disappears and does not incur a FTN. Shooter may not advance down range of cover. P 1 STRINGS: 1 SCORING: 8 rounds min, Vickers TARGETS: 3 threat, 2 Steel SCORED HITS: Best 2 on T1- T3, Steel must fall START-STOP: Audible - Last shot RULES: Current IDPA Rulebook CONCEALMENT: Required P 2 T 1 T 2 FLAMABLE T3 P2 FLAMABLE 15 yds Start

9 Stage 6 - Rude Homecoming Course Designer: Jon Rhoades SCENARIO: You are heading up to the front door of your parents house. There is someone you don t recognize on the side of the house. The person draws and fires at you. Move to cover neutralize the threats from outside the home and save mom. START POSITION: At either P1 facing downrange at first target with hands relaxed at sides. STAGE PROCEDURE: On start signal move to cover then engage threats. All threats are engaged from outside the house. STRINGS: 1 SCORING: 14 rounds min, Vickers TARGETS: 7 threat, 1 non threat SCORED HITS: Best 2 per target START-STOP: Audible - Last shot RULES: Current IDPA Rulebook CONCEALMENT: Required CAUTION: Do not sweep your hand when opening the door. 10 Stage # 7 Faster Than a Speeding Course Designer: David Jenkins, Hansen Range SCENARIO: Armed thugs are hiding outside your house START POSITION: Standing at P1, far left edge of wall, with gun loaded, holstered, and concealed STAGE PROCEDURE: On the signal engage popper and T1 using cover, then either engage T2-5 with two rounds each from end of wall, or move down range and engage using available cover. SCORING: Vickers Count TARGETS: 5 of IDPA Paper, 1 Steel SCORED HITS: Best two per paper, steel must fall START-STOP: Audible Last Shot RULES: IDPA Latest Edition Round Count: 11 CONCEALMENT: Required

11 Stage 8 - Golf Cart Course Designer: Smitty, Wyoming Antelope Club SCENARIO: You and a friend are delivering i a case of Yuengling to a golf tournament t when attacked by bad guys. You must eliminate the threat and get the beer safely away. START POSITION: Sitting on back bench of golf cart, facing downrange. Gun loaded to division capacity. and resting on beer case, pointed downrange. All extra ammo on belt. with both hands on knees. STAGE PROCEDURE: On signal, recover gun and, when ready, command your buddy/driver to GO! Upon this command, golf cart will proceed straight uprange, without stopping or slowing until it reaches P2. Engage targets, while seated, as available from between the two muzzle safe points/bars mounted on the cart. No cover is available to you. Three armed bad guys are approaching you to rob you of your car and groceries..) START POSITION: starting at Position A, gun SCORING: Vickers Count loaded to IDPA, grocery bag in weak arm and TARGETS: 3 of IDPA Paper key rings in strong hand STAGE PROCEDURE: On signal engage T1 strong hand only with 3 rounds. Drop grocery bag and move to position B and use the drivers side of the vehicle for cover and engage T2 & T3 with three rounds each in tactical priority. SCORED HITS: Best three per target. In the garage there are three assailants & your wife is being held by one of them. START POSITION: starting sitting in the chair, SCORING: Vickers Count gun loaded to IDPA capacity and placed in IDPA TARGETS: 3 of IDPA Paper box on table SCORED HITS: Best two per target. STAGE PROCEDURE: On signal retrieve your gun, move to behind the open door (barrels), kneel and engage the targets with 2 rounds each in tactical priority. 15 Stage 11 Stupid Hardcover Course Designer: Dan Bernard Wyoming Antelope Club Standard Exercise START POSITION: Facing down range. Gun loaded with SIX ROUNDS ONLY in holster, STAGE PROCEDURE: Upon the start signal, engage each target with two rounds each from P1, reload and engage each target with two rounds each. All shots must go through the port at P1 SCORING: Limited Vickers Count TARGETS: IDPA Paper SCORED HITS: 4 hits per target.
