1 Press Release First day of Enduro European Championship in Casanova di Staffora (Italy) The first day at the third round of the Enduro European Championship (EEC) in Casanova di Staffora / Italy was won by the British rider Tom Sagar on his KTM: he was seconds in front of the reigning Champion Maurizio Micheluz and his countryman Jacopo Cerutti Both couldn t take time from their home-advantage. Micheluz took the second place in the last of the six tests which came together to 0 minutes: I know, Jacco was only fife seconds far, so I pushed as hard as possible. This helped him to win this enduro-test with seconds in front of Cerutti and so he took the second place of the day. With this we already have the the winner of three main classes. The E-Class was won by Suzuki-rider Maurizio Micheluz with nearly 0 seconds in front of the Swiss Jonathan Rosse on the Yamaha and the British Jack Rowland on the Husqvarna. As the fastest overall, Tom Sagar also won the E-Class in front of spezial guest Mirko Gritti from Italy on the KTM and the German Mark Risse on TM. The second in championship, the British Jamie Lewis, cought three minutes penalty, because after a crash in the test he did not enter the track at the same position, where he left it. After a day with a lot of problems the French Audrey Rossat took the second place more than three minutes behind the Italian Cristina Marrocco!
