Cohee, a sophomore, also played on the Canadian U19 National Team and in the 2015 FIBA World Championship. 12s NIGHT AT THE KEY: Seattle University welcomes all 12s to KeyArena this Sunday for a special 12s Night at the Key. Anybody who comes to the East Box Office at KeyArena starting 90 minutes before the 6 p.m. tipoff wearing 12s attire will receive free tickets for themselves and their party (up to 8 guests). In addition, there will be several activities geared towards the 12s starting on the West plaza of KeyArena at 4 p.m., including 12s-themed vehicles. Once doors open at 5 p.m., the 12s are encouraged to head to the northeast corner of KeyArena, where Wilson the 12th Pony and the 12s Santa Sleigh will be on hand to greet their fans. Also, Seattle U Athletics has teamed with Bonneville Radio for a photo booth so fans can have their picture taken in front of a special 12s backdrop. The raffle will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of King County. Several Seattle U student-athletes have volunteered to organize and run this raffle just one day before the start of Finals Week. 2 SCOUTING CAL STATE FULLERTON: The Titans enter Friday s game with a 5-1 overall record, losing their season opener at Loyola Marymount before winning five straight games, including a one-point victory at Pacific and recent home wins over Nevada and Cal State Dominguez Hills. Cal State Fullerton is scoring 76.8 points per game and allowing 66.3 points per contest. As a team, the Titans are shooting 44.3 percent from the field, including 39.0 percent from behind the three-point line, and 72.0 percent from the free throw line. Tre Coggins leads the team with 17.2 points per game, plus he has pulled down 4.7 rebounds per game, dished out 13 assists, and earned nine steals. Khalil Ahmad is scoring 12.3 points per game while grabbing 5.0 rebounds per game and shooting 60.5 percent from the field. Kennedy Esume leads the team on the boards with 7.3 rebounds per game. SERIES HISTORY: This will be the fourth meeting alltime between Seattle U and Cal State Fullerton, with the Redhawks holding a 2-1 series edge. CSU Fullerton won the first meeting on its home floor Dec. 16, 1985, The teams did not face each other again until a homeand-home series during the season. On Nov. 13, 2013, Seattle U rallied from a 14-point deficit with 4:24 remaining in regulation, outscoring the Titans 24-6 down the stretch for a victory. Jarell Flora led Seattle U with 25 points, while Isiah Umipig finished with 24 points and eight assists. On Dec. 7, 2013, in Fullerton, Calif., the Redhawks scored the first 10 points of the game on their way to a victory over the Titans. Umipig led Seattle U with 20 points, while Deshaun Sunderhaus finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. SCOUTING MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE: The Delta Devils are 0-8 heading into their game Thursday night at North Carolina Central. They have already lost games at WAC schools New Mexico State and Grand Canyon as well as games at Nebraska, at Air Force, and at BYU. MVSU is scoring 61.8 points per game and allowing 84.4 points per contest. As a team, the Delta Devils are shooting 35.2 percent from the field, including 32.2 percent from behind the three-point line, and 62.3 percent from the free throw line. This will be the first meeting all-time between Seattle U and Mississippi Valley State. WAC PRESEASON HONOR: William Powell was voted Second Team All-WAC by the conference coaches in the preseason poll taken in October. Powell is Seattle U s leading returning scorer and rebounder after averaging 7.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, shooting 51.3 percent from the field in the process. THE CAL GAME: Seattle University stayed with the University of California throughout Tuesday night s contest, but scoring runs at the end of the first half and late in the second half allowed the Bears to pull out a victory over the Redhawks in a non-conference men s collegiate basketball game at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif. Down after a tip-in by Kameron Rooks to start the second half, Seattle U scored nine unanswered points, punctuated by a three-pointer by Brendan Westendorf. Cal extended its lead back to six at with 13:39 remaining in the second half on a layup by Tyrone Wallace, but the Redhawks responded, going on a 10-1 scoring run over the next four minutes, capped by a three-pointer by Manroop Clair, to take the lead at Wallace scored the next seven points to give the Bears the lead for good, and then a three-point play from Jordan Mathews as well as two more free throws from Wallace extended the Cal lead to nine at Mathews hit a three-pointer to increase the Bear lead to double digits, where it remained for the final three minutes of the game. Westendorf led the Redhawks with 13 points and seven assists, plus he pulled down four rebounds, while Clair contributed a season-high 11 points thanks in part to three long distance baskets. Jadon Cohee finished with eight points and four rebounds, and Jack Crook led Seattle U with five rebounds to go along with six points. SMILE, YOU RE ON CAMERA: Tuesday s game at California was the first of at least five televised contests featuring Seattle University during the season. The Redhawks will make their second and final appearance on the PAC-12 Network when they face the Washington Huskies at Alaska Airlines Arena Tuesday, Dec. 22. Once conference season starts, Seattle U will appear on the American Sports Network three times, all home games. The Redhawks will host CSU Bakersfield Saturday, Jan. 16, on ASN. Seattle U will then see both of its games on Homecoming weekend televised by ASN: Thursday, Feb. 4 against Chicago State and Saturday, Feb. 6 against Missouri-Kansas City. In addition, at least 11 Seattle U games will be streamed by the WAC Digital Network, including this Sunday s contest against Mississippi Valley State. SENIOR LEADERSHIP: Jack Crook, the lone senior on the active roster for Seattle University this season, has emerged as one of the team s leaders both on and off the court this season. Crook has reached double figures in scoring in five of the six games so far this season, leading the Redhawks with 17 points against Eastern Washington on Nov. 23 and 16 points against Great Falls two nights later. Crook notched the fifth double-double of his collegiate career on Nov. 15 against Sacramento State with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Last season, Crook was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court as well as Academic All-WAC for his academic work as a strategic communications major.

3 FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Two newcomers to the Seattle University men s basketball program have already made a significant impact this season. Brendan Westendorf, a junior college transfer from Kent, Washington, has shown the ability to contribute to the Redhawks in different ways, averaging 12.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. He leads Seattle U with 10 made threepointers so far this season and is shooting 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from the free throw line. Westendorf notched a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds against Sacramento State Nov. 15, followed by a 20-point performance at Eastern Washington Nov. 18. After sitting out the first two games of the season, freshman Malik Montoya from Federal Way, Wash., has been a valuable asset off the bench for the Redhawks. At Eastern Washington on Nov. 18, he hit three three-pointers to help the Redhawks cut into their deficit. In the rematch with the Eagles Nov. 23, Montoya earned two key steals and ensuing layups as Seattle U defeated Eastern Washington, SUNDERHAUS OUT: Deshaun Sunderhaus first injured his knee on Jan. 25, 2014, during Seattle U s game at Grand Canyon. He went through rehabilitation and returned to action last season, appearing in eight games, featuring a performance at San Jose State in which he made every shot he attempted, collecting 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists. However, in the very next game on Dec. 15, 2014, against Northwest University, Sunderhaus reinjured the knee, once again prematurely ending his season. He fought through the pain of more rehabilitation and attempted another comeback. Unfortunately, Sunderhaus suffered another setback during preseason practice and decided that enough was enough. He underwent surgery to repair the damage on Friday, Nov. 6, but he has decided to no longer play competitive basketball. In 56 games with the Redhawks, including 34 starts, Sunderhaus averaged 9.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, as he shot 51.8 percent from the field.

5 HEAD COACH CAMERON DOLLAR (UCLA 97) SEVENTH SEASON AT SEATTLE U/EIGHTH SEASON OVERALL (.429) AT SEATTLE U/ (.416) OVERALL Cameron Dollar is in his seventh season as head coach at Seattle University. Dollar led Seattle University to its first national Division I postseason tournament since the season when the Redhawks accepted an invitation to play in the College Basketball Invitational. Seattle U reached the semifinals of the CBI with home victories over Pepperdine and Colorado, the program s first victories in a national Division I postseason tournament since The team finished with an overall record and advanced to the championship game of the WAC Tournament. Isiah Umipig and Jarell Flora received All-WAC honors. In , Dollar s Redhawks posted a five-game improvement from the previous season and contended with eventual WAC Tournament champion New Mexico State right down to the final buzzer in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament. Thanks to a season sweep over Cal State Fullerton as well as victories over UC Davis, Cal State Northridge, and Norfolk State, Seattle U jumped out to an 8-3 record, led by Second Team All-WAC performer Isiah Umipig. Though Dollar led the team through a tough first season in the WAC during the season, several key returning players showed improvement under his coaching. Dollar took a squad of several newcomers through the season, competing with powerhouse programs such as Virginia and Washington. The team got rolling midway through the season, winning nine of its last 12 contests, including eight in a row at KeyArena. Thanks in part to Dollar s coaching, Aaron Broussard established himself as one of the best players in program history, finishing his career 13th on the school s all-time scoring list. Seattle U picked up 11 victories during the season, including the team s second straight victory over Oregon State and a road victory at ACC school Virginia. The Redhawks also played a tight game at Pac-10 school Stanford and put up its best performance against Washington since starting the reclassification process in front of over 11,000 fans at KeyArena. Using an up-tempo style with aggressive defense, Dollar led Seattle U to a record in , making the Redhawks the first team to post a winning record playing a full Division I schedule in its first year as a Division I counter. The team started to gain national recognition after a victory at Utah, and then made history later in the year with a win at Oregon State, the worst home loss ever for the Beavers. Dollar and his squad also defended Elgin Baylor Court at KeyArena during its first year of existance, finishing with a 10-3 record at home, including exciting victories over Fresno State, Weber State, and UC Irvine. He served seven years as an asssistant coach at the University of Washington before coming to Seattle U. As the top assistant for Lorenzo Romar at Washington, he helped the Huskies win their first Pac-10 outright regular season championship since 1953 in the season. Washington advanced to the semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament and to the second round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament. In 2006, Dollar helped guide Washington to a 26-7 record. The Huskies made back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances for the first time ever. He was pivotal in the Huskies run to their first Pac-10 Tournament championship in 2005 and first ever No. 1 seed into the NCAA Tournament. UW finished with a 29-6 record, tying the school record for wins in a season. In 2004, the Huskies advanced to the championship game of the Pac-10 Tournament and competed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since Prior to his arrival at UW, Dollar served three years as an assistant coach on Romar s Saint Louis University staff. He helped the Billikens to a three-year record of (.537), including a 2000 Conference USA Tournament championship that secured the league s automatic NCAA berth. Dollar began his coaching career as an assistant on the staff of head coach Pat Douglass at UC Irvine in He became the nation s youngest head coach in 1998 when, at age 22, he took the reins of the Southern California College program in Costa Mesa, Calif. The Vanguards, who returned just six players from the previous season, posted an record in Dollar s only season, but recorded wins over NAIA Top 25 teams Westmont and Azusa Pacific. After a three-month stay as a part-time assistant at the University of Georgia in 1999, Dollar left to join the Saint Louis coaching staff on a full-time basis. As a player, Dollar lettered four seasons at UCLA before graduating in He has chosen to remain in Seattle, the site of the Bruins 1995 NCAA Championship victory. UCLA defeated Arkansas at the Kingdome. A four-year letterman at UCLA from , Dollar achieved national recognition in 1995 as a pivotal player in UCLA s NCAA championship season when he took over for injured starter Tyus Edney in the title game. In Dollar s final three collegiate seasons, the Bruins won the NCAA title and reached the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Dollar averaged 5.0 points and 3.7 assists per game during his four-year career. Cameron and his wife, Maureen, live in Seattle. They have three children: Jalen (born April 26, 2005), Giselle (born Feb. 12, 2007), and Jason (born Dec. 23, 2008).
