3 Thirteen Participate in ONE soccer match per day Except: Tournaments/Engagements Varsity & JV same day 3 halves Maximum of 2 game/day All contests must be played prior to May 2 nd.

4 Mercy Rule/Victory Margin The match shall end when one team has established a 10 goal differential at the end of the first half or during the second half. The margin of victory rule does not apply prior to completion of the first half of play.

5 Varsity Contests Minimum of two officials may not start a match with one official Regular Season, Districts, State then Penalty Kicks 2 or more games/day Penalty Kicks Below the varsity level: Match Length & Overtime Procedures may be modified

6 1. Host school shall call in ALL varsity match scores including tournaments! 2. Out-of-state opponent records must be reported. 3. Coaches regularly check scores online for accuracy. 4. 7 Athletic Bylaw During the season of a sport, a student is permitted to take individualized instruction from a person other than the high school coach. Group instruction, practices with outside teams, and tryouts for outside teams other than as a part of a college or university-recruiting visit, however, are not permitted.

8 Athletic Bylaw No organized practice in any sport shall be held during the school year, but outside of the season. Organized practice shall mean more than five players under the direct supervision of a sponsor. If more than one group is practicing at the same time, it shall be called an organized practice.

34 Home team shall wear white or light jerseys and socks Visiting team shall wear dark jerseys and socks Current Team Uniform Requirements Front Front of Uniform Options 1 manufacturer s logo 2¼ square inches is permitted on each item (visible anywhere on the uniform) All jersey s (except goalkeepers) shall be numbered on the front with a different Arabic number at least 4 inches in height This number must be placed on the jersey or short Page: 21-22
