The installation made PNC Arena the first NHL venue in the United States to feature LED lighting. The Centennial Authority, which owns PNC Arena, invested more than $650,000 in the project to enhance the arena lighting experience for the teams and guests. The system provides a cleaner, brighter and substantially more energy-efficient light intended to reduce glare
