2 Comfort Onboard Cheeky Monkey is a luxury catamaran, and has been fitted out for maximum comfort. Outside in the cockpit is a 8-person teak table and additional room for entertaining. Because the cockpit is dry in all conditions, no additional second inside table is required, allowing that space to be utilized as a lounge area with coffee table. The galley is fitted with stove, separate oven, microwave, as well as a large fridge and separate large freezer unit, making cooking onboard a joy. The galley is fully fitted with all utensils provided. The boat is installed with a 12v water-maker, which produces 65 liters/hour, which can be powered by the solar panels, engines or generator without requiring the inverter. With seating at the table, addition cockpit seat, separate helm, nets on the foredeck and the wonderful sun deck on the roof, there are many options to relax and find individual space both at anchor and on passage. 3 Power Under Motor Cheeky Monkey has been installed with upgraded Volvo Penta 55hp engines, giving both additional speed when required and power in maneuvering when docking. All engine services have been carried out on schedule and by qualified Volvo Penta mechanics, using only Volvo Penta produced parts. Each engine is installed with a large alternator, ensuring batteries are charged while underway. The propellors are attached via sail-drive and each propellor is the up-graded Volvo folding prop, reducing drag when under sail. An additional back-up steering system, with a stand-alone hydraulic reservoir and independent autopilot, is installed, providing peace-of-mind and additional safety while underway. The owner s stateroom has an additional lounge area, desk (modified from the original FP design to provide working space with monitor and printer), additional storage, washing machine and dryer combination and large bathroom with generous shower area and electric head. Each guest cabin has good storage, large queen-sized beds, and their own bathrooms with separate showers. In addition, the single berth in the port hull has a single bed, fan, light, porthole, access step and hatch. All rooms (except the single cabin) have their own air-conditioning units so each room temperature can be controlled for individual needs. There are two additional air-con units in the saloon (which are enough to keep both the saloon and cockpit - when the full canvas tent is up - cooled). At the helm, there is a large 12 inch chart-plotter, along with engine gauges, separate control panels for each autopilot (there are two) and a control head/chain counter for the windlass. In addition, there are three multi-function gauges on the bulk-head which can be viewed easily from the helm or the cockpit. These were designed to show boat speed, water depth and wind speed/direction (both true and apparent) though they can easily be changed to show other data. There is also a VHF radio at the helm, 12 volt socket for charging devices and Plastimo compass. At the navigation station in the saloon, there is an additional 12 chart plotter, fuel, water and electricity gauges (analog), additional digital electricity gauge and separate solar panel gauge, another control panel for the main autopilot, another VHF radio, boat stereo, generator controls and water-maker controls. At the navigation station are also three different communication devices: satellite system (Iridium), data system (for cell-phone data cards) and wifi booster - all with external antennas for maximum reception wherever you are. The boat stereo is the upgraded Bose system with subwoofer, providing great quality sound throughout the saloon and cockpit. With the large and reliable generator running (or on shore power), the batteries get charged, hot water tank is powered up, you can run the washing machine to keep your clothes clean and fresh and all six air-conditioning units can be run to keep the whole boat at the perfect temperature during hot summer days or nights. The 850 watts of solar power put in up to 250 amp/hours/day to keep your batteries charged. The

5 Victron inverter/charger provides 3000 watts of power and chargers the batteries at 120 amps per hour. There is an additional back-up 60 amp Victron charger for redundancy. The batteries were upgraded in mid-2017 to Victron AMG providing a large 825 amp/hour bank. In addition to the standard boat lights (all LED), Cheeky Monkey has been installed with three sets of blue LED lights so she s always ready to entertain: large foredeck lights under the coachroof rim, curtesy lights in the cockpit and 4 sets of underwater lights (two on each hull) ideal for attracting fish, manta rays or swimming at night. With that and safety in mind, the ground tackle is over-sized to ensure the boat stays where you left her and you get comfort on mind to ensure a good night s sleep. The main anchor is a Rocna (40kg), fitted with 100 meters of top-end G70 chain, deployed and retrieved with a Quick windlass (controlled either at the bow or helm station, where there is also a chain counter so you know how much chain is down). There is an additional 100 meters of rode (never used). In addition, there is a second 29kg Mantus Anchor with 20m of chain and 100 meters of rode that can be deployed either as a second anchor from the bow or as a stern anchor. The dinghy is the cruisersfavored AB Lammina, which has a light aluminum hull with durable hypalon inflatable tubes. The dinghy has been converted to allow the fuel can to be stored safely in the bow locker, clearing up the floor of the dinghy which avoids accidents and provides more room for carrying loads. The dinghy is powered by a powerful 25hp 2-stroke Yamaha engine, allowing it to plane easily and carry as many as 8 to and from shore. The combined engine and dinghy are light enough for two people to beach it, which is essential for remote anchorages/beaches that don t have dinghy docks. For fun and entertainment, the boat is powerful enough that you can tow the wakeboard or funboard, or any additional water toys, behind the dinghy.
