3 3 III. Hazards Identification: May cause irritation of the skin, eyes, or mucous membranes. Splashes in the eye can cause severe eye damage with ulceration of the cornea, and may cause eye damage. Skin exposure can result in irritation with discomfort or rash, bleaching of the skin and hair. Prolonged exposure may result in skin irritation., Inhalation of 3% formulated vapors can cause irritation of the nose and throat and possible irritation of the upper respiratory passages or non-specific discomfort such as nausea. Inhalation of a 6% formulation may cause irritation of the nose and throat and possible difficulty in breathing, shortness of breath. Ingestion at 3% and 6% may cause irritation of the gastrointestinal trace with upper abdominal pain, "heartburn", nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, "coffee grounds" vomitus and "black tarry" stools may occur as a result of gastrointestinal tract bleeding. Gross overexposure include red blood cell destruction, or gas embolism. Gross over exposure by ingestion may be fatal. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. First Aid Measures: EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for 15 minutes, Call a Physician. SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash area with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists Call of Physician. INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting, Give large quantities of water, Contact a Physician Immediately. INHALATION: If breathing problems develop, remove to fresh air. Call a Physician. Note to Physician: If swallowed, large amounts of oxygen may be released quickly. The distention of the stomach or esophagus may be injurious. Insertion of a gastric tube may be advisable. V. Firefighting Measures: Will not burn, but decomposition, caused by heat, releases flammable vapors. Strong Oxidizer, contact with clothing or combustibles may cause fire. Contact with organic liquids or vapors may cause immediate fire or explosion, especially if heated. To Extinguish: USE WATER ONLY. In the event of a fire, wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing apparatus with full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.

4 4 VI. Accidental Release Measures: Spill Procedures: Absorb and containerize. Wash residual down with water and drain to approved chemical sewer or waste water treatment system. Contact the sanitary treatment facility in advance to assure ability to process wash-down material. Wash Disposal: Dispose of in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations VII. Handling and Storage: STORAGE & HANDLING PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed. Do not reuse empty containers. Keep containers clean and closed. Store in a cool, well-ventilated dark area. Protect from freezing. Isolate from incompatible substances. Protect container from physical damage. Containers of this material may be hazardous when empty since they retain product residues (vapors, liquid); observe all warnings and precautions listed for the product. VIII. Exposure Control and Personal Protection: Hygienic Practices: Wear Safety Chemical Splash Goggles. Wear gloves. Wear appropriate protective garments not affected by hydrogen peroxide. Improper clothing can result in permeation and possible increased fire hazards. Use a respirator, NIOSH/MSHA approved where possibility of airborne solution is possible. Engineering Controls: Use general ventilation to minimize exposure to vapor or mist. Work Practices: Avoid eye and skin contact and inhalation of vapor or mist. Airborne Exposure Limits: -OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL): 1 ppm (TWA). -ACGIH Threshold Limit Value (TLV): 1 ppm (TWA), A3: Animal carcinogen. Ventilation System: A system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended to keep employee exposures below the Airborne Exposure Limits. Local exhaust ventilation is generally preferred because it can control the emissions of the contaminant at its source, preventing dispersion of it into the general work area. Personal Respirators (NIOSH Approved): Not expected to require personal respirator usage. If the exposure limit is exceeded, wear a supplied air, fullfacepiece respirator, airlined hood, or full-facepiece self-contained breathing apparatus. This substance has unknown warning properties.
