Risk of fire and explosion if formulations contain flammable/ explosive solvents. Use water to keep fire exposed containers cool. If a Leak or spill has not ignited, use water spray to disperse the vapours and to protect personnel attempting to stop leak. Water spray may be used to flush spills away from exposures. Prevent run off from fire control or dilution from entering streams, sewers, or drinking water supply. Do not breathe fumes. For fires in enclosed areas, fire fighters must use nitrile rubbers gloves, close fitting safety goggles, effective respiratory protection when necessary, full length protective clothing and boots should be worn when handling this material in an emergency. HEALTH HAZARD DATA: (ACUTE HAZARDS & SYMPTOMS) Effects of overexposure: Inhalation: Skin: Eyes: Ingestion: The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system, resulting in irritability and convulsions. Exposure at high levels may result in death. Blue lips or fingernails. Convulsions. Diarrhoea. Dizziness. Headache. Nausea. Unconsciousness. Vomiting. Weakness. Numbness of the tip of the tongue and face. Coarse tremors. In coordination. Laboured breathing. Respiratory failure. Apprehension, excitability, dizziness, headache, disorientation, weakness, paresthesiae, muscle twitching, tremor, tonic & chronic convulsion (often epileciform), and unconsciousness. Irritating to skin, dissolves fat on the skin and will cause dermatitis after prolonged period of time. Nausea and vomiting. 9. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION Inhalation: Skin: Eyes: Ingestion: Avoid inhalation of spray mist. Use only in well-ventilated areas, in case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Wear protective clothing, gloves. Launder contaminated clothing before re-use. Avoid contact with skin. Keep working clothes separately and do not take that home. Avoid contact with eyes. Wear eye/face protection. When handling this product, wear goggles giving completely eye protection. Keep away from food and feedstuffs. Remove patient to fresh air. When in doubt or symptoms persist, seek medical attention. If person stops or has difficulty in breathing, administer oxygen. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst handling this product. Wash hands and face before eating and drinking. 10. FIRST AID MEASURES: Exposure: Seek Medical Advice and show label where possible. Note to Doctor: Administer short acting barbiturates and calcium gluconate 10 intravenously. Adrenaline is contra indicated. Inhalation: Remove from source of poisoning. Remove patient to fresh air. When in doubt or symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash affected area thoroughly with plenty of soap and cold water. Do not rub skin. Seek medical advice. Eyes: Wash out of eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. Ingestion: Induce vomiting (ONLY IN CONCIOUS PERSONS!) Remove patient from source of poisoning and keep him quiet and reassured. If diluted mixture has been swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling back part of the throat. If concentrate has been swallowed, firstly give copious quantities of either beaten egg white, starch solution or Milk of Magnesia before inducing vomiting. Repeat until vomit fluid is clear and free from smell of poison. Administer artificial respiration or closed chest cardiac massage if necessary. Do not apply mouth to mouth respiration. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. 3

4 11. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES: Notification procedures: Procedures if material is release of spilled: Environmental Precautions: Report spills as required to appropriate authorities. Absorb on fire retardant treated sawdust, diatomaceous earth, sand, peat sorb, etc. Shovel in and dispose of at an appropriate waste disposal facility, in accordance with current applicable laws and regulations, and product characteristics at time of disposal. Prevent spills from entering storms severs or drains and contact with soil. 12. HANDLING AND STORAGE: Handling/storage precaution: Avoid prolong repeated skin contact. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Store in a secure, dry, well ventilated separate room, building or covered area. Not for use or storage on or around home. Keep away from sources of ignition and protect from exposure to fire and heat separate from incompatible materials. Do not allow entering public sewers and water sources. If contamination of drainage systems or water sources, is unavoidable, inform the appropriate authorities immediately. For use as directions on the label only. Wash thoroughly after application. Remove and wash contaminated clothing after use. Wash applicator, receptacles, etc., thoroughly before re-using with other materials. Note: During application and when cleaning equipment and protective clothing, contamination of all sources of drinking water, rivers, dams, crops or grazing shall be prevented. 13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATION: Waste disposal: Rinse empty container 3 times and destroy by perforation or flattering, and do not use for any other purpose. Product should be utilized completely to avoid disposal. If not possible, dispose of at an appropriate waste disposal facility, in accordance with current applicable laws and regulations. Soak up spillage with dry sand, shovel up and dispose of as for toxic waste in accordance with local/national regulations. DO NOT BURN. Protective clothing to be worn when cleaning spillage. Spillage disposal: Wear protective clothing. Ventilate area. Apply non flammable dispersing agent if available and work to an emulsion with brush and water run this to waste, diluting greatly with running water. If dispersant not available, absorb on fire retardant treated saw dust, diatomaceous earth, sand and shovel into bucket and transport to safe, open area for atmospheric evaporation. Do not wash into sewer. Dispose of at an appropriate waste disposal facility in accordance with current applicable laws and regulations. For large spills, self-contained breathing apparatus must be worn during clean up. Precaution Handling/Storage: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
