3 5 The Industrial S with enhanced options to fit many budgets. new irhawk II ir Mask is built upon MS s established irhawk MMR ir Mask and is a lightweight, durable, and economical S for many industrial ILH (immediately dangerous to life or health) applications. This S fits any budget by keeping its lower-cost options while offering many new choices not offered with any other industrial air mask. In addition, the irhawk II ir Mask is available in both low-pressure and high-pressure versions. MS s irhawk II ir Mask is a pressure-demand apparatus designed to maintain a slight positive air pressure inside the facepiece during inhalation and exhalation. Positive pressure helps to prevent contaminants from seeping in and around the facepiece, even if small breaks in the face-tofacepiece seal should occur. The irhawk II ir Mask is built from six major components: facepiece, carrier and harness assembly, cylinder, first-stage regulator, mask-mounted regulator, and End-of-Service-Time-Indicator (EOSTI). FEPIEE MS offers you the choice of two facepieces, the proven Ultra Elite Facepiece or new industrial 4000 Facepiece for the irhawk II ir Mask. hoose from three facepiece sizes (small, medium or large) in either SoftFeel Rubber or silicone rubber. The irframe arrier and Harness distributes the S s weight over the user s hips for comfort and stability. The composite backplate is made of glass fiberreinforced thermoset plastic and is ergonomically designed with a spine strain relief. Key components are detachable special tools. The assembly s harness components are available in nylon or high-strength Kevlar. Shoulder straps feature easy-to-release friction buckles to positively retain pull straps. center-pull waist belt system is also incorporated into its design. This harness also provides optional shoulder pads, lumbar pad, and chest strap, making this unit the most comfortable industrial air mask on the market today. The cylinder band is available in nylon or Kevlar and is secured by an adjustable nylon buckle, allowing the band to retain various cylinder sizes. n optional open-form stainless steel cylinder band provides rapid drop-in cylinder replacement, eliminating webbing adjustments and clips.

4 YLINERS MS offers a choice of three lowpressure (2216 psig) 30-minute-rated cylinders for use with this S. hoose carbon-wrapped, fiberglass hoop-wound, or all-aluminum construction cylinders. High-pressure (4500 psig) carbonwrapped cylinders are available in 30-, 45- or 60-minute durations. FIRST-STGE REGULTOR The PR-14 Regulator is designed with the fewest number of parts in the industry, with Teflon- coated anodized valve bodies to minimize internal component friction and maximize service life. The PR-14 Regulator has only 14 replaceable parts and can be maintained special tools. MSK-MOUNTE REGULTOR The second-stage Regulator features a slide-to-connect (S-T-) or push-to-connect (P-T-) regulator attachment to meet the widest preference ranges. n integrated shutoff prevents cylinder air loss when disconnecting the second-stage regulator from the facepiece. The Regulator has only 22 replaceable parts and can be maintained special tools. ESOTI MS s udi-larm udible larm is an air-actuated continuously-ringing warning bell that automatically sounds when the air-supply cylinder reaches 25% of its rated service life. OPTIONS Optional air-line port n optional airline attachment configures the irhawk II ir Mask with a second port. This port is designed to accept an airline connection from an independent air source, such as an air compressor or cascade system, allowing workers to use an external air source as their primary air supply, conserving cylinder air for emergency escape. MS s successful irhawk ir Mask industrial S platform offers more safety and ergonomic options than any other competitive S, providing the highest-quality air mask available. These new choices include MS fire service components of exceptional quality and durability, now offered for use in non-fire applications such as industrial, agricultural, wastewater, HazMat, and HV. NIOSH-approved. Optional Heads-Up isplay wireless Heads-Up-isplay (HU) System is available for use on the Ultra Elite Facepiece, eliminating snag hazards while providing easy-maintenance modularity. This system is built with two primary components, the integrated transmitter and receiver. The HU receiver provides the user with the remaining volume of cylinder air through four colored LEs using the following light logic: four green lights: 76 to 100% three green lights: 51 to 75% two flashing amber lights: 26 to 50% flashing red light: 0 to 25% Optional Rapid Intervention rew (RI) System The Rapid Intervention rew connection uses the Quick-Fill System UR (universal rescue connection). This system enables quick refilling (less than a minute) of an S cylinder from a mobile compressor or cascade system. You can also transfill between two S wearers, providing an emergency breathing system (ES), still maintaining NIOSH approvals. The RI System extends the wearer s air supply over longer duration when a remote cascade system or other compressed gas source is located remotely, allowing wearers to transfill and refill in ILH atmospheres. Optional Emergency Egress Rescue elt The Emergency Egress Rescue elt is a NIOSH-certified emergency egress system integral to the S waist belt, equipped complete with Kevlar line (50 ft. or 75 ft.) and rappelling hardware. Optional shoulder-mounted Quick-Fill System ES accessory This connection offers S cylinder refill from a mobile compressor or cascade system and also allows transfilling between two S wearers, providing an emergency breathing system (ES). The wearer s air supply is extended over a longer duration when a remote cascade system or other compressed gas source is located remotely, allowing transfill and refill in ILH atmospheres. Optional IM Tx Integrated PSS/HU Transmitter The IM Tx Integrated PSS/HU Transmitter features the Personal lert Safety System (PSS) and the HU Transmitter combined within a single housing. This wireless system eliminates snag hazards and is easily replaced in the event of damage.
