Добро пожаловать Chef Patrick Hennessy Canadian Joined INVICTUS 2014 Sailing, travelling, surfing, snowboarding, carpentry, live music, yoga & meditation, camping & hiking Patrick grew up in Vancouver, Canada where he started sailing at the age of 10. This is a passion he continues to enjoy and one of his most memorable sailing trips was through the Whitsundays in Australia in Pat started his Chef career in 1997, cooking in premier restaurants in Vancouver (including a lodge in the Haida Gwaii Archipelago), in New York at Eleven Madison Park (three star Michelin restaurant) and in Sydney. In 2011 Pat founded a private dining and catering company KTCHN, which morphed into a creative underground restaurant, serving imaginative ten course meals for groups of ten. Pat moved to the yachting industry in 2014 and his extensive knowledge and dedicated energy, combined with a fervent interest in adding to his skill set, have repeatedly marked him as a valuable asset to INVICTUS. He loves being a part of this incredible galley team! Pat brings a flair for creativity with a natural talent for the sublime all while remaining modest and pleasant! His priority is to make guests ecstatic with the cuisine he and his sous chef as a team, present with caring and pride. Bon appetite! Pat practices yoga and meditates whenever possible to maintain his wonderful calm demeanour. When not otherwise engaged, he enjoys carpentry and live music.

2 Sous Chef Jacob Cildavul Dutch M/Y AQUARIUS (67m) Jacob is proudly from The Netherlands where he grew up with a love for the sea and a keen interest in all types of food. This curiosity soon turned into a passion and before long, Jacob found himself working in fine dining restaurants as well as Michelin starred restaurants, where he gained a fantastic grounding and learned from the best! Chief Steward Regis Sondergeld French M/Y KOGO (71m) M/Y ELIXIRE (30m) M/Y ATHMA II (31m) Sommelier, listening to music, gardening, drawing French, German, Spanish & English Born with a gift for learning and exceptional intelligence, Regis graduated from the University of Nice, France with both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Language as well as a degree in Psychology. He speaks four languages fluently and has a natural talent for hosting guests of all ages and cultures. His passion for excellent service combined with his warmth and gentle demeanour makes him the perfect leader for the service orientated interior team on board INVICTUS. Regis brings with him a wealth of experience having worked and excelled in the yachting industry since To add to his repertoire, Regis served as a Major D homme in Faience, France during the winter of 2006/2007. Regis is a Sommelier of note and guests have excellent guidance with making wine choices. Regis has a broad range of personal interests and one of the things he loves most about this job is interacting with the guests. He is eager to welcome you all on board! 2nd Stewardess Pauline de Kock South African M/Y COLORS (39m) M/Y NORTHERN LIGHTS (46m) M/Y THE ROCK (27m) Outdoor activities, reading Fluent English and Afrikaans, very basic Greek Pauline hails from the coastal town of Hermanus in the Cape, which is famous for whale watching. Multitalented, Pauline achieved great success in her rowing career whilst studying for a financial degree amidst the gorgeous wine lands of Stellenbosch. A lover of world travel, Pauline has adapted easily to life on board INVICTUS and is keen to devote her abundant energy to kindly welcoming guests from all over the world on board. She is eager to make their experience unforgettable! Pauline loves the outdoors and enthusiastically participates in outdoor activities and for those quieter moments, reading is the perfect escape.

Stewardess Mabel Balbuena Philipino M/Y AURORA (60m) M/Y MONTKAJ (78m) M/Y WHITE RABBIT (61m) Languages: Fluent Tagalog and English Mabel is a welcome addition to the INVICTUS family.

One of her many talents is the ability to work at a fast pace while still ensuring the quality of the work and all with an easy-going yet professional attitude.

Mabel has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and has completed many additional training courses, including Basic Safety Training and Trainings for Butlers. After graduating, she decided to follow her dream to work and travel internationally. In 2011, Barbara began working on cruise ships where she learned a great deal about how to work efficiently while still providing excellent service to all guests with care and attention. After 2 years of being on cruise ships, she wanted to expand her world travels and joined the yachting industry. This lovely lady is well liked by guests, who immediately warm to her soft demeanour! When Barbara is not hard at work on the open sea, she enjoys all manners of fitness and outdoor activities including Pilates, swimming and running. Stewardess Catherine Sikora Australian M/Y CORAL ISLAND (73m) Scuba, swimming, fishing, travel, studying languages Although Cat is a Tasmanian born Australian, she has lived on the beautiful Gold Coast since her early 20s. Growing up on the beach, Cat naturally loves everything about the ocean - the swimming, scuba diving and the fishing! Her passion for life bubbles over to her work, which she does with good humour and enthusiasm. Always ready to help, Cat is a wonderful addition to the Interior Service Team and her smiling face and sunny disposition is infectious. When not working, Cat loves spending time in the outdoor and enjoys studying languages, with Japanese as her main focus, although Spanish and French are also on her radar!

Valentine s previous yachts include 45m DEEP BLUE and the 62m SOLEMAR. He is a hardworking man that takes much pride in his work with an easy-going yet professional attitude. Valentine has completed many training courses, including Security Awareness Training, Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene, Ship Security Familiarisation Training and Basic Safety Courses. He is very much a team player and will pitch in wherever and whenever his many talents are needed! During busy times, Val loves listening to R&B music to relax. Villy entered the yachting industry in 2007 and his previous yachts include PRIVATE LIVES, AL MIRQAB, AUDACIA, and AQUALIBRIUM. He brings with him a tremendous amount of experience with all types of electrical equipment and installations and is an expert in trouble shooting navigation equipment, fire protection equipment, hydraulics equipment, refrigeration equipment and air conditioning equipment, etc. Villy takes his job seriously and has immense pride in the work he does and the results show. Dedication to the operation and safety are his first concerns. 5 Rotational 2 nd Engineer - Ryan Gibson Australian M/Y HURRICANE RUN (54m) M/Y CLOUD 9 (60m) Surfing, Healthy living, Formula 1 Racing, Golf Born in Sydney, Australia, Ryan's love of the ocean led him to explore the world. He spent his early years boating with his parents prior to starting a Marine Mechanics apprenticeship. Keen to further his engineering experience and knowledge, Ryan has dedicated his time and passion to earning his Y3 certification. His love for engineering and INVICTUS is apparent and if you can coax him away from the engine room, you will be in for a tube ride of your life!! Away from INVICTUS, you will find Ryan surfing or on the golf course. Chief Officer Jack du Plessis South African S/Y ZENJI (56m) M/Y ANNAEVA (56m) S/Y FELICITA WEST (64m) Sports, camping, fishing, travel Fluent Afrikaans and English Jack is from a small town in South Africa that has given him a great appreciation for the outdoors and an active lifestyle. He was introduced to yachting in 2007 and began his career on a large sailing yacht. He has since worked on both motor and sailing yachts. During this time, he travelled the world including the Mediterranean, Caribbean and South East Asia. Jack currently holds the MCA Master 3000gt licence. He brings with him an excellent work ethic (dedicated, reliable, high standard of work) as well as a good natured and fun loving personality. Jack enjoys a wide array of sports and outdoor activities. To relax, he listens to music or reads a good book, but certainly doesn t shy away from a good social occasion. 2 nd Officer Leon Backhouse Smith New Zealand M/Y WILD THYME (37m) M/Y MALIBU (50m) M/Y KARIMA (50m) Rugby, fishing, SCUBA diving, camping, travelling Pursuing new challenges is what it is all about for Leon and what brought him to INVICTUS. He began his career as a deckhand back in 2008 on KARIMA and has been tirelessly pursing a MCA Master 500gt license ever since. He has cruised the waters of New Zealand, Sardinia, Greece, and Turkey to name a few. Leon graduated with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from Massey University and loves rugby, snowboarding, scuba diving and recreational fishing. When guests feel the urge to go fishing or explore the water, he s your guy! He is a very courteous gentleman who will assist guests of all ages with any needs they may have while aboard INVICTUS.

It was during high school and University that Karl developed a great work ethic while working part time on many yachts on California s coast. It is in this spirit that he always strives to deliver a great experience to guests. After graduating with a Literature and Rhetoric degree, Karl joined the Owner s charter program starting with DOMANI and now with INVICTUS. Karl is very knowledgeable and experienced with maritime activities and holds a US Coast Guard 100 ton Captain s license. Lead Deckhand Lloyd Hecht South African M/Y ANNAEVA (56m) M/Y ECHO (40m) M/Y IMPULSIVE (39m) Surfing, fishing, water sports Lloyd grew up in the small sea-side town in St Francis Bay in South Africa. He has worked in the yachting industry since 2012 and he is currently pursing his MCA OOW 3000gt certifications. Having grown up by the sea Lloyd enjoys surfing, fishing and other water sports. His warm, easy going nature and wonderful people skills, combined with his resourcefulness and professionalism make him the perfect fit for the exceptional team onboard INVICTUS. Lloyd thrives in a high pressure environment and is capable, efficient, hardworking and extremely reliable. Deckhand Hugh Douglas-Garden Australian M/Y KOGO (72m) M/Y RASSELAS (52m) Skiing, camping, outdoor activities Hugh grew up on a large farm in south east Australia where he still resides today. He has a degree in Construction Management and worked in the industry for over 5 years prior to yachting. A friend, who currently works in the industry, introduced Hugh to yachting and his career hasn t been the same since. His hobbies include water skiing, camping, outdoor activities and farming. He is great with children, who are drawn to his adventurous and fun loving nature challenge him to Nintendo 64 tournament! Hugh is keen for new experiences and is happiest when he can see guests getting the most out of their time onboard!

After leaving school he took the finance route to study Accounting and Financial Planning, however after a few years in the finance workplace, Scott moved to the yachting industry, and has not looked back! Scott enjoys the energetic atmosphere and brings with him an enthusiasm and strong professional work ethic. He has continuously improved his qualifications and plans to progress further in this career which is a perfect fit for him. Being an active person who likes to keep fit, Scott really enjoys helping guests with water sports and is keen to ensure all have the best time ever! Deckhand Charlotte Harrington British M/Y DB9 (52m) Diving, snowboarding, traveling Charlotte grew up in a small village in the north west of England. Living on a peninsula developed her passion for the ocean and along with her love of traveling - the yachting industry is a perfect fit! Before finding her home on INVICTUS, she spent her time traveling around the world. Her position as a deckhand perfectly combines her array of skills, knowledge, passion for people and love of travel, giving guests a truly special experience. Warm hearted and extremely likable, Charlotte is a natural at making people smile and feel so welcomed into the INVICTUS family that they want to stay longer! While not on INVICTUS, Charlotte is a keen snowboarder. Deckhand/ 3 rd Engineer James Thomas Australian M/Y NEW VOGUE (32m) Scuba diving, fishing, bodysurfing James grew up in Sydney, Australia and moved to Sydney s northern beaches in his early teens where his passion for boating started. In early 2010 he started began his professional career by studying Marine Mechanics, undergoing a 4 year apprenticeship as well as completing his PADI dive master certificate. James is a friendly gentleman who is always eager to help guests out with any water sports or activities they may want to try. His love for the yacht and the job is obvious! In his spare time, James enjoys fishing, diving, spearing and the surf.
