2 THE BUNGALOW in Santa Monica is more than a room it s a state of mind. Conjured from the rich imagination of Brent Bolthouse, The Bungalow radiates the relaxed charm of another era. Located at The Fairmont Miramar Hotel at the corner of Ocean Avenue where Wilshire Blvd. meets the Sea, the low-key lounge boasts stunning ocean views and is the perfect spot to watch the sun drip into the sea. Since its opening in August 2012, The Bungalow has quickly turned into one of the hottest destinations for the creative set in Los Angeles and an important nightlife fixture on the west side. Locals swing by with their beach cruisers on Sunday afternoons for rounds of ping-pong on the patio, and holidays are often celebrated with massive pig roasts and BBQs out in the parking lot. KCRW s Jason Bentley and DJ Kelly Cole can often be found spinning tunes on a weekend night, and Tuesday music nights feature artists such as Grammy-nominated folk and blue grass band The California Feetwarmers playing underneath the stars. 3 ABOUT THE SPACE: The Bungalow is a breezy, Baja-style 1947 cottage surrounded by lushly landscaped grounds and gardens. There are six distinct spaces to mingle within this inviting respite from hectic city life: the Study, the Main Bar, the Outside Deck, the State Room, the Game Room and the East Garden. The Study is perfect for formal business meetings, and holds 50 for a sit-down dinner or 75 for a cocktail party. The State Room doubles as a private dining room with a hand-carved oak table and white director s chairs. It opens onto a lovely secret East Garden, as well as an old-school Game Room with a pool table and French doors. The Main Bar features a wood-burning stove, solid oak herringbone floors and a soaring ceiling with wood rafters. Guests can also step out onto a sweeping brick patio and aged wooden deck dotted with cozy couches and chairs and covered in twinkling lights.

4 ABOUT THE SPACE: Rather than existing as separate spaces, The Bungalow s unique gathering areas flow together as seamlessly as the hours of an evening spent within its walls. Guests feel as if they are visiting a welcoming home by the sea rather than a lounge a place made of sunshine and atmospheric music, where a hand-crafted margarita pairs perfectly with easy conversation and good company. Both an indoor and outdoor bar serve up a range of tequila and mezcal cocktails that utilize seasonal ingredients and house-made shrubs from the nearby Santa Monica Farmers Market. The Bungalow Margarita and Bitchin Sangria have become house favorites, and new cocktails like The Dogtown and The Baja California are added to the menu throughout the year to reflect the seasons and location along with small bites from the exclusive bar menu by Yousef Ghalaini of FIG Restaurant.

8 February 18, 2016 Since its grand unveiling in November 2015, Pacific City has kept Huntington Beach on its toes, rolling out new restaurants, boutiques, and concepts on a monthly basis. Come Summer 2016, the coastal cool communal hub will welcome its premiere lounge, The Bungalow. Hailing from Santa Monica, The Bungalow claims a coveted spot at the retail-restaurant expanse, with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean and iconic Huntington Beach Pier. The self-described state-of-mind will play to Pacific City s laid-back luxury vibe, complete with cocktails and small bites in a refined rustic setting. Think sophisticated Baja-style beach cottage oozing with charm, from candlelit rooms, fireplaces, and a brick patio, to patterned Mexican blankets, tchotchkes, and a game room that will likely include a pingpong table. Tailored to Huntington Beach culture, the seaside watering hole will not only serve up bites by local favorite Bear Flag Fish Company, but also a cozy location for taking in our epic sunsets. Expect a mix of Bob Marley, The Beatles, and surf music to set the rhythm. THE BUNGALOW SANTA MONICA OUTSIDE DECK We re trying to create a place where the community of Huntington Beach can celebrate life, says The Bungalow visionary Brent Bolthouse. We re building it like we would build a house where everyone s welcome. Details are still in the works, but Bolthouse shares that signature libations like the Bungalow Margarita and Bitchin Sangria made the cut, as will new cocktails crafted around local lifestyle.
