3 PUCKS CHLORINE Stabilized chlorinating tablets Controls bacteria and algae in swimming pool waters kg kg WARNING: Direct Tablet Contact May Cause Bleaching of Vinyl or Painted Pool Surfaces. Automatic Feeding Devices Employing These Tablets Must be Totally Free from Traces of other Pool Sanitizers To Avoid the Probability of an Explosion. Maintain recommended daily levels as determined by testing kit. Free available chlorine: ppm ph: Total Alkalinity: ppm Calcium Hardness: ppm For outdoor pools, chlorine residuals can be protected from destruction by the sun s rays by adding 300 g of PUCKS CHLORINE per 10,000 litres of pool water to yield the required initial concentration of 30 ppm. If using an automatic chlorinator, fill the chamber[s] with tablets and adjust flow rate, according to manufacturer s recommendations, to maintain proper chlorine residual. Adding tablets to the pool s skimmer basket is an alternative chlorine feed method. Daily usage should approximate 25 g of PUCKS CHLORINE per 10,000 litres of pool water. Note: Hot weather, heavy pool usage and rain may require higher usage rates to maintain proper chlorine residuals. Periodic superchlorination of pool water is recommended. Follow label instructions of superchlorination product being employed. PUCKS CHLORINE contains stabilizer which can accumulate in pool water. Keep stabilizer within the range of ppm by dilution with fresh water. 16 STAIN LIFT REMEDY An all natural way to remove metal staining to pool liners and finishes Quickly removes stubborn stains Compatible with all sanitizing systems g Specifically formulated for use with all sanitizers. Note: Operating the pool for a couple of days without chlorine can create an algae concern. Follow pool dealer s recommendations on steps to take to protect the pool from algae during this metal stain removal clean-up. 1. Balance pool water chemistry before using STAIN LIFT: ph: Total Alkalinity: ppm Calcium Hardness: ppm Phosphates: below 100 ppb Note: Stain removal products work best when the ph is on the lower side of acceptable range (7.2). 2. IMPORTANT: Before starting the metal stain removal or water discolouration clean up (step 4), FILTER ASSIST MUST be added to cartridge and sand filters. DE filters must be properly charged. 3. Lower chlorine level to 1 ppm or less (a high chlorine level or adding oxidizing agents during the clean-up will prevent STAIN LIFT from working as designed). 4. For Surface Staining: If the surface is stained, add 120 g of STAIN LIFT per 10,000 litres as close to the stained area(s) as possible with the pump off overnight. For Water Discolouration: If the entire body of water is discoloured, put the pool on recirculate, add 120 g of STAIN LIFT per 10,000 litres to the pool evenly around the edge. Let the circulation run for one hour. After one hour, shut the pump off and let sit overnight. 5. Before turning the pump back on, brush the pool walls and floor thoroughly. 6. Turn the pump back on and add METAL REMOVE to the pool evenly around the edge at a rate of 125 ml per 10,000 litres. 7. With the pump still on, vacuum the pool walls and floor very thoroughly. 8. After vacuuming, clean filters. Sand filter: backwash for at least 3 minutes and then rinse for 2 minutes. Cartridge filter: clean filter and filter tank thoroughly. DE filter: backwash and recharge with DE. 9. Test and rebalance water. DO NOT SHOCK THE POOL FOR AT LEAST 1 WEEK. Note: If chlorine level is low, add small amounts of chlorine. Do not exceed 2 ppm. For salt generator pools, a granular shock is recommended instead of turning the generator to its boost (superchlorinate) function after the recommended 1 week. 10. Use METAL REMOVE as a weekly maintenance to prevent future metal staining. Apply 50 ml per 10,000 litres once a week. Do not swim until stain procedure is complete and normal chlorine residual is established. 15 BLUEPRINT PRODUCT RESOURCE GUIDE
