7 Structural Warranty: 30 Years A 40-year warranty upgrade, including an ownership transfer, is also available. Speak with your consultant for more information. 1. The fi rst layer is a gel coat, which gives your pool its beautiful shimmer and colour. 2. This vinyl ester layer protects your pool shell from the elements and water exposure. 3. This "Barrier Coat" layer is the core of our Shield Technology. It is used in boat manufacturing and has a remarkable resilience against blistering. 4. This layer, made of the highest quality fi breglass, gives your pool unbeatable strength. We use a superior grade of fi breglass typically used in industries such as offshore ocean racing. 5. This second layer of premium fi breglass provides extra support, making your pool as reliable as possible. Thanks to technological advancements and improvements made to the manufacturing process, fi breglass pools now look phenomenal, feel irresistibly smooth, and are available in an exciting range of colours. Plus, all issues regarding the long-term durability of fi breglass pools are now a thing of the past. Interiors: Fibreglass pool interiors have a smoother, more skin-friendly texture than concrete pools. Installation: As the shell of a fi breglass pool is built off-site, the installation takes about a quarter of the time it takes to build a concrete pool. Maintenance: Fibreglass pools are less complicated and less expensive in terms of maintenance. This is because fi breglass doesn t affect water chemistry as much as concrete does, making it easier to maintain the correct chemical balance in your pool. Warranty: Fibre-Tek Global offers a 30-year structural warranty on fi breglass pools. Installation: Installing a concrete pool takes more time as everything must be done on-site.
