2 The Tennants Group: The Tennants Group of companies was established in St Rollox then a suburb of Glasgow in Scotland during the 1790 s when its founder Charles Tennant (the son of a farmer and apprenticed as a weaver) invented bleaching powder by passing chlorine gas over slaked lime. The bleaching properties of chlorine had been known for many years, but until this time it was too dangerous to use. St Rollox Works This discovery revolutionized the cloth industry by speeding up the bleaching process of cloth prior to dyeing and saving large amounts of time and money. A huge chemical industry was born. As such we have been involved with chlorine for a long time! Today The Tennants Group is headquartered in Belgravia, London and although we no longer manufacture chlorine, or any of its downstream products, we continue to distribute chlorine products manufactured by others (and a huge range of other industrial chemicals) through Tennants Distribution Ltd which operates a nationwide network of depots in the UK (Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, West Bromwich, Purfleet and Northfleet).

4 Sanitizing Products Purisan Slow Dissolving Chlorine Tablets (Trichlorisocyanuric Acid) For the disinfection of swimming pool water with no change to ph. Compatible with any filtration system. Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium. Purisan Quick Dissolving Chlorine Tablets (Trichlorisocyanuric Acid) A shock treatment in tablet form with an effervescent action to ensure quick and efficient chlorination. Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium.

5 Purisan Multifunction Chlorine Tablets (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) This formulation includes Disinfectant, ph corrector, Flocculent, Descaler & Algaecide so as to eliminate bacteria, viruses & micro-organisms, destroys algae & prevents re-development, removes scale & keeps the water clean & crystal clear. Compatible with any filtration system. Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium. Purisan Integral Chlorine Tablets (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) This formulation includes 3 different phases: shock (pink layer), maintenance disinfectant (central blue) and slow dissolving layer (white) to achieve optimal performance. Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium.

6 Purisan Bilayer Chlorine Tablets (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) A five action tablet (Disinfectant, ph Corrector, Flocculent, Descaler & Algaecide) especially formulated so that just one application eliminates bacteria, viruses & micro-organisms, destroys & prevents algae, removes scale leaving the water clean & crystal clear. Compatible with any filtration system. Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium. Purisan Bilayer Chlorine Tablets (2 Phase) (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) This formulation includes Disinfectant, ph modifier, Flocculent, Descaler & Algaecide to which has been added a shock treatment (top layer). Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium.

7 Purisan Triple Action Chlorine Tablets Not currently available in the UK (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) A 3 action solid compound (Disinfectant, ph Corrector & Flocculent). Slow dissolving chlorine content and improves filtration by flocculation. Compatible with any kind of filtration equipment. Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium. Purisan Bromine Tablets Slow dissolving organic compound based on Bromine, formulated for the cleaning and disinfection of swimming pool & spa water. Total Bromine content is 60% and when dissolved in water forms hypo-bromous acid. Available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs.

8 Purisan Power Peroxide Tablets (Potassium Hydrogen Peroxymonosulphate) A solid disinfectant & shock which is chlorine-free, restoring clarity resulting in crystal clear swimming pool water. 200g tablets are available in 5, and 20 (Retail) packs while 20g tablets are available in 5, 25 (Retail) packs. Also available (Retail) in granular form in 5 & 10 Kgs Pails. Purisan Chlorine Granules (Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate Dihydrate) A granulated / powder solid compound 55% Av. Chlorine donor. Granulated products are available in 5 kgs, 30 kgs (Retail) packs. Does not contain any calcium.

9 Purisan Calcium Hypochlorite Tablets 65% Av. Chlorine donor quick dissolving tablets for cleaning and swimming pool water disinfection. 20gms and 200gms tablets available for Retail in 5 and 25kgs pails. Purisan Chlorine Stabilizer (Isocyanuric Acid) Granulated solid used to protect chlorine from the destructive UV rays of the sun in outdoor swimming pools. Available for Retail in 2kgs pails.

10 Purisan Liquid Chlorine First intent sodium hypochlorite (not recovered or reclaimed and so doesn t contain any unexpected contaminants - Manufactured in the UK). Available for Retail as 14-15% Av. Chlorine in 20 Ltr, 10 Ltr and 5 Ltr non-returnable packs also as 10-11% Av. Chlorine in 20 Ltr non-returnable packs. Purisan HEXA Liquid Chlorine 14/15% (sodium hypochlorite 14/15% with 0.5% (w/w) sodium hexametaphosphate added) is available in 20 Ltr non-returnable Policans. Water Balancing Chemicals Purisan ph Plus Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) granules for increasing ph in swimming pools and spas. Available for Retail in 1kg, 5kgs, 10kgs tubs. Purisan ph & TA Minus Sodium Bisulphate (Dry Acid) for reducing ph and Total Alkalinity in swimming pools and spas. Available for Retail in 1.5kgs, 7kgs, 12.5kgs tubs. Purisan TA Plus Sodium Bicarbonate for increasing Total Alkalinity in swimming pools and spas. Available for Retail in 1kgs, 5kgs, 10Kgs tubs. Purisan Hardness Increaser Calcium Chloride Flake 77% for increasing Calcium Hardness in swimming pools and spas. Available for Retail in 1kgs, 5Kgs and 10 Kgs tubs. Purisan Alum Aluminium sulphate Kibbled or Ground (17% Iron-Free). Used to clarify water in swimming pools equipped with sand filters. Available for Retail in 5kgs tubs.
