The initial trophy was known as the George Barter Trophy from 1967/68 until 1981/82 when it was replaced in 1982/83 by a new trophy named as the Jim Wilkin Memorial Trophy. From 1992/93, awarded to the GRPStGJCA Cricketer of the Year. From 1976/77 to 1991/92 it was a StGJCA Trophy awarded to its Cricketer of the Year.
