The large design ensures the patient can easily see that the clip has been positioned correctly and the clip makes an audible clicking noise when positioned correctly. The OpeRaise has been designed with a full range of slings, the main two slings are the Band (with quilted padding, boned supports, no velcro and belt) and Padded Roll (with sheepskin padding, and belt without velcro for infection control) The carer handles are long and positioned correctly for a multitude of height of carers, ensuring a comfortable and minimum-risk patient transfer This ensures the hoist will go longer without risk of wear and tear. In addition the major welds are supported by male-female steel joints (i.e. one goes inside the other, as well as welding around joint for added security)
