1 Scheduling Hosts are responsible for ensuring match facilities are available on the date of games. If games must be cancelled/postponed due to facility requirements, it is the hosts responsibility to contact OASL and guest teams IMMEDIATELY. Furthermore, hosts must have access to all size goal nets and have their own therapist and convener on site. Setup Hosts must ensure fields are set up as described prior to kick off 7v7 Field: 55m x 35m Goal: 12 x 6.5 9v9 Field: 80m x 55m Goal: 18 x 6.5 Hosts must place Goals, Pylons, Corner Flags for All Field Configurations Hosts must identify the therapist to all guest teams Officials Hosts must ensure Match Officials are aware of the requirements for the age group they are officiating Hosts are responsible for providing a Match Convener (see OASL Game Management) Hosts are NOT responsible for paying officials. 1 P a g e F E B R U A R Y

2 Reporting (U8 to U13) o Scores and incidents are reported to OASL@ontarioacademysoccerleague.ca within 48 hrs (U14-U17) o Scores and any incidents to be reported to OASL@ontarioacademysoccerleague.ca within 24 hours o Game Sheets to be scanned/photographed and sent to OASL@ontarioacademysoccerleague.ca within 48 hours Match reports can be submitted online via the Admin system as follows: o Go to > Management Package > Hosting Manager > Report Hosted Games o Select the week being reported o All hosted games for that week will be listed Scores can be submitted directly on this page for all games A Match Report (if required) can be submitted by clicking the Game # (GID) and filling in the Internal Report 2 P a g e F E B R U A R Y

3 For (U14-U17) games, additional details shall be provided by clicking the Add/Edit Events link o Goals (G), Cautions (YC) and Ejections (RC) can be recorded o Players crossed off the Game Sheet can be removed by selecting the Drop box Reimbursement Host Organizations will be credited as follows: o 7v7 Hosted Game: 1/3 of full-field rate* x 1.5 hours/game o 9v9 Hosted Game: 2/3 of full-field rate* x 1.5 hours/game o 11v11 Hosted Game: Full-field rate* x 2 hours/game $20/hour convener credit will be provided if all reporting obligations are met Conveners must be at the field 30 minutes before game-time and are paid for this Therapists are to be provided by the Host, with additional credit of $35/hour to be provided *field rate with supporting documentation from the field owner, must be provided by host at time of application *field reimbursements submissions must be filed to the League operations office the week following the Hosted Games Weekend; reimbursement checks will be mailed the following week. 3 P a g e F E B R U A R Y

4 (U8-U13) Pre-Game Responsibilities Collect 2 copies of the Game Sheet from teams upon their arrival Review game sheet and ensure all information is completed and the Game Sheet is signed Only Registered Staff and Players on the Game Sheet are eligible to sit on the Bench. All others must be on the opposite side of the field Game Sheets shall be provided to the Match Officials 5 minutes prior to kick off Post-Game Responsibilities Collect the completed Game Sheets from the Match Officials Ensure all Goal Scorers and Discipline are correctly identified (and reason code is provided for all Cautions) If any players/staff have been ejected, the Match Official must complete a Discipline Report. Match Officials may complete the report on site, or take one copy of the Game Sheets and submit the report via mail within 48 hours. 4 P a g e F E B R U A R Y

5 (U14-U17) Pre-Game Responsibilities Collect 2 copies of the Game Sheet from teams upon their arrival Review game sheet and ensure all information is completed and the Game Sheet is signed Instruct teams that players must present for ID inspection 15 Minutes prior to kick-off During Inspection: o Verify Player ID Card o Ensure all players on Game Sheet have been presented o Verify all players dressed are on the game sheet Players that do not provide a valid ID Card by Halftime are not eligible to play (their name(s) should be crossed off the Game Sheet) Make a note (by circling their Player ID #) on the Game Sheet of any player listed that has not yet arrived. Only Registered Staff and Players on the Game Sheet are eligible to sit on the Bench. All others must be on the opposite side of the field Game Sheets shall be provided to the Match Officials 5 minutes prior to kick off Players that arrive after Inspection shall be verified individually prior to entering the match. Post-Game Responsibilities Collect the completed Game Sheets from the Match Officials Ensure all Goal Scorers and Discipline are correctly identified (and reason code is provided for all Cautions) If any players/staff have been ejected, the Match Official must complete a Discipline Report.
