Young Adult (18-23) vi. Played-in Junior vii. Junior (under 18) viii. Junior (under 10) ix. Associate Member x. Parent Member 1b) Membership Fee Structure i. Adult Member fee, if paid by 1 st June, set at Annual General Meeting. ii. All other fees increase by similar percentage, set and agreed by the General Committee. iii. Fees not paid by 1 st June will be increased by 25% of membership fee applicable. iv. Any person whose fee remains unpaid after 1 st July ceases to be a member until such fee is paid in full. 1c) Played-in Juniors Played-in Juniors are those reaching a playing standard as agreed by two Committee Members and payment of the additional fee. Played-in Juniors are permitted to take part in Adult club nights. 1d) Match Fees Match fees for fixtures to be determined by the General Committee annually. 1e) Visitors Fees i. Visitors fees to be revised annually by the General Committee and displayed on the notice board and club website. ii. Members are responsible for their visitors and the payment of their fees. iii. Maximum allowed visits three per season.

2 2. Accounts Accounts to be audited annually and presented at the Annual General Meeting. 3. Court Availability The Horton View courts will be available all day until 10pm on weekdays, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays unless pronounced unfit by the General Committee. Club matches and designated coaching sessions will take priority. Also subject to notification of bookings by Cherwell District Council. 4. Rules for Club Play i. Organised club nights are as designated by the General Committee. ii. Club Night organisers are selected from annually revised lists to include all Adult members with a Committee Member overseeing. If an scheduled organiser is unable to attend, they are responsible for arranging a substitute. iii. When possible a foursome should be split up after one set. iv. A second set shall not be commenced if other members are waiting to play. v. Players dress must be regulation tennis attire. 5. Tennis Balls i. The club will provide tennis balls for Club Nights from 1 st April until 30 th September inclusive. ii. A maximum of four balls per court. Members have responsibility that all balls are returned to the Club Night organiser at the end of each evening. 6. Match Team Captains The Match Team Captains have sole responsibility for liaising with opponents, collection of match fees, entering match results, and the overall smooth running of the match. 7. Selection Committees i. Elected at the Annual General Meeting, Team selection should comprise of three separate Selection Committees to run the Oxfordshire Men s, Ladies and Mixed League Teams, respectively, with a named coordinator in each committee. Each Committee comprises the captains of the relevant teams. Any external competition teams to be selected by the relevant Committees. ii. One volunteer Organiser/Selector for each Banbury Town League Team entered, Summer

3 and Winter. 8. Tournaments Responsibility for the organisation and rules of all tournaments will be that of the General Committee. Current rules to be posted on tournament listings. Annual Club Tournaments i. Club Finals Day will be fixed at the Annual General Meeting. ii. New Members should be not be eligible to play in Club Tournaments until their Membership Fee has been paid. 9. Juniors i. One court should be available for Junior use at all times. ii. Other playing times for Juniors to be decided by the General Committee. iii. All Adult rules apply to Juniors. 10. Wimbledon Tickets i. The Club s allocation of tickets will be balloted for. ii. Only fully paid up Adult, Young Adult, Senior Citizen and Family Members are entitled to enter the ballot (one entry per adult Family member). 11. Floodlit Courts i. A booking system will be in operation from dusk until 10 pm from 1 st October until 31 st March inclusive. ii. Bookings can be made through the online booking system. iii. The General Committee will be responsible for the organisation and use of the floodlit courts which may include organised club nights and/or coaching. 12. Discipline i. The General Committee shall appoint a disciplinary committee consisting of three Committee Members chaired by the General Committee Vice-Chairman, subject to 12viii. ii. This committee shall have full authority vested in it by the Main Committee to act on its behalf without reference (subject to 12viii) on all matters of Membership Misconduct. iii. The Disciplinary Committee shall only investigate formal complaints registered against its membership either from within or without the club, received or recorded in writing under

5 iv. The Disciplinary Committee shall meet as and when required to consider complaints, but should endeavour to do so no later than 14 days after formal registration of the complaint. v. The Disciplinary Committee as a minimum shall take evidence in person or in writing from the complainant and request a response in person or in writing from the alleged offending member. The response should be received within 7 days of notification. vi. The Disciplinary Committee, and only the Disciplinary Committee, (subject to 12viii) shall, on the basis of the evidence heard, render appropriate sanctions against the member. That sanction shall be recorded on the Club notice board, if a misdemeanour is adjudged to have taken place. vii. The nature of the sanction applied is at the sole discretion of the Disciplinary Committee, but shall be drawn from: a reprimand; suspension from the Club, its functions and its premises for the next X weeks (failure to comply with this sanction could lead to further disciplinary action); recommend total expulsion from the Club. viii.following a recommendation to expel a member from the Club, only the full General Committee can ratify this. ix. A member has the right to appeal, through the Club Chairman, to the General Committee against sanctions imposed by the Disciplinary Committee. This appeal should be lodged with the Club Chairman within a maximum of 7 days. x. Sanctions will commence 7 days after receipt of notification by the offending member unless an appeal is lodged. xi. No alleged offending or offended member may take part in disciplinary judgements. 13 Professional Coaching Professional coaching will be approved at the discretion of the General Committee. 14 All members should take responsibility to help enforce the rules.
