Correctly Fill In a Game Sheet Entering a Game Sheet
Gamesheets Minor Hockey Official Game Report Must Be filled in and in timekeepers box 5 minutes Prior to Game Start of Game. This is the responsibility of the home team. Each Team MUST provide a Timekeeper for each game HOME: will work the Scoresheet Visitor: will work the Clock Timekeepers are considered an official and will take direction only from the Referee Any Non officials are not allowed in Timekeepers Box (Children, parents of player serving penalty, etc)
Games Duration & Stopping Clock Minor Hockey Books Games in 75 Minute and 90 Minute slots 3 20 Minute periods are always played, First two Periods are always Runtime 75 Minute GAMES - LAST 5 Minutes is stop time IF goals are less then 5 apart (Ie 2-3 stop time, But 7-2 is Not - if the score becomes 7-3 you begin stop time) 90 Minute Games Last Period will be stop time again if less then 5 goal spread. Penalty's issued during Runtime are 3 Minutes and start when the ref drops the Puck. If a penalty is issued during runtime, and crosses into the stoptime the full 3 minutes must still be served. When a player is injured or on the ice - stop the clock. Clock will start running again when the puck is dropped. This is a respect thing for the injured players. Each coach is allowed one 30 second Time out this will be indicated to you from the Ref and the clock should be stopped. Clock will resume when ref drops the puck.

Section 1 Players and Numbers Must be entered - Missing Players need to be added or crossed off Labels, if a player shows up late timekeeper may add them back on the roster. ONLY players and Coaches in the game should be on the sheet. - If using labels must place on all 3 Sections -Any Affiliate Players Must Be noted with an (AP) beside their name - All coaches (even substitute Coaches) must be on Game Sheet - Any Players or coaches suspended should be noted by Serving #/#
Section 2 Record Goals P Period (This should always be 1,2 or 3) Time The time on clock when Ref blew whistle and signals Goal. SC The number of player who scored Assist Up to two players can assist A ref will come to time keeper and give there numbers Always record what the ref states even if you feel its not correct.
Section 3 Record Penalties under the correct side of the game sheet record penalty s Per Period NO Number of player who received Penalty Serv Number of player serving Offense - the penalty called Minutes in penalty box Off- time ref blew the whistle to call penalty Start when ref drops puck penalty actually begins Off time player returns to Ice
More things to Note on Penalty s Record the Call the Ref tells you Any minor penalty in run time is recorded in 3 minutes Again the time served does not start until the ref drops the puck (5 minutes are 7 minutes in runtime) If the play is stopped and a players time ends they may not leave the box until the ref restarts the play Coincidentals - that is penalties that occur at the same time - one from each team - only get written on the sheet and do not go on the clock. These players do not go back on the ice until the first whistle after the time has been served. Double minors (6 minutes penalties) have to be written as two separate penalties. The second penalty start would be 3 minutes after the first ends. For example the first head contact penalty would be off and start at 1645, if no goal is scored within first three minutes the second head contact penalty would be off at 1645 but start at 1345 which is when the first one would finish.
Section 4 Record Game Details All details Must be filled in Division (Novice, Atom, Peewee, etc) Tier (What Tier is this) Played At : What arena (FLA, CC) In the Blank Space please write the Game length this is a reminder on stop Time.
Section 5 Record Game Officials Ref s will fill in their names, please ensure it is legible so we can record. Person working timesheet should Print and sign under official Scorer and person working clock should do the same under Official Timekeeper
