Shortly afterwards FERNANDO JUNIOR (3) lost ground rapidly. GUS THE WEAPON (5), RAPID RUNNER (6) & TOO GOOD JOHN (7) came together in the turn to the home straight and RAPID RUNNER (6) & TOO GOOD JOHN (7) lost ground. COUNTRY BLAZE (8) collided heavily with FANTASTIC ERNIE (6) entering the catching pen and almost immediately afterwards CHAMPNESS MISS (2) also came together with FANTASTIC ERNIE (6).
