This will be payable only for non-sponsored races where the total stakes do not exceed Rs.4 lakhs. 3 RE : NORMS PERTAINING TO 2-YEAR-OLD-HORSES IN WESTERN INDIA & OUTSTATION HORSES COMING TO RACE IN WESTERN INDIA FOR THE MUMBAI MEETING 2016/2017 A. 2-YEAR-OLD-HORSES IN WESTERN INDIA: 1.(a) A 2 year-old horse entering in training in Western India will pay Rs.12,000/- as Arrival Charges provided that the horse is physically present in Western India or is in the list of expected 2-year-old horses supplied by the Trainer. This is as per the notice requesting for the list by 14 th February (b) The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on 18th January 2014 have decided that a 2 year old horse, other than those referred to in the paragraph above, for which permission is sought in the month of March will attract an Arrival Charges of Rs.30,000/- per horse and Rs.50,000/- per horse thereafter, provided Stable/s is/are available to accommodate such horse/s both in Mumbai and Pune for Western India based Owner/s. 2. (a) A 2 year-old horse, as per the list in Point 1 (a) above, must be physically present at the Mumbai Race course to participate during the Mumbai Meeting 2016/17, by 15th November 2016, otherwise Rs.20,000/- per horse will be charged as Arrival charges. Further, if horse/s mentioned in the List of expected 2-year-old horses supplied by the Trainer/s, do not arrive by 15th November 2016 at the latest, the Trainer will be penalized. (b) Arrival Charges for all other horses, except a 2 year old horse, will be Rs.50,000/-. 3. If the Arrival Charge has been paid in respect of a horse, the horse can come back to Western India for racing, provided the Trainer taking charge of the horse has Stabling facility for the said horse. 4. It is clarified that the Arrival Charges as mentioned in this Notice are Charges for permitting a horse to race in Western India only for such time and up to such age as fixed and decided by the Stewards of the Club, at their sole discretion from time to time and no right of whatsoever nature, (including right for stable accommodation), shall be deemed to be created in favour of any person by virtue of the arrival charges imposed by the Club as aforesaid. B. OUTSTATION HORSE/S: 5. Outstation horse/s will be required to pay the Arrival Charges of Rs.12,000/ - per Racing Season. Outstation horses will only be allowed to race in Classic/ Graded and/ or Guaranteed Million race/s and the races listed below: The Maharaja of Morvi Trophy; All Races on the Indian Derby Weekend; Any other race/s that the Stewards may identify. 6. Outstation horses entered and/ or Left-in in the Classic/ Graded and Guaranteed Million race/s to be run during the Mumbai Meeting 2016/2017 will be permitted to participate in ONLY ONE PREPARATORY RACE. 7. There will be 15 stalls earmarked for Outstation horses. Request for allotment of Stables for the Outstation horse will have to be made, in writing, by the Trainer concerned, well in advance. Priority will be given to: a. Horses entered for the Classic race/s. b. Horses entered for Graded / Guaranteed Million race/s. 8. A Western India Trainer shall only be allowed to stable an Outstation horse in his yard provided that he has vacant Stables. These horses can be attended to by his local Syces. 9. The Western India Trainer taking charge of Outstation horse/s shall be solely and entirely responsible for any positive finding of a prohibited substance. 10. An Outstation horse entered for a race must be present on the premises of the RWITC Ltd to participate in a race before the time specified for the Acceptances, unless an advance intimation, in writing, is received from the Trainer concerned regarding the arrival date of the horse. An Outstation Trainer must state in advance the name of race/s he wishes to race his charge during the Meeting and when the horse/s would leave station. 11. Syces of Outstation horse/s may look after that horse if the horse is housed in the Stables reserved for Outstation horses and a Western India Trainer may look after the said horse/s on behalf of the original Trainer. 5 6

A Horse owned by Western India based Owner/s racing at other Turf Clubs and, on application, if rated 40 points and over by the RWITC Ltd Handicapper, may be permitted to come to Western India at an Arrival Charge of Rs.50,000/- and may be allotted stables at the RWITC Ltd, provided stables are available to accommodate such horses, both in Mumbai and Pune. 13. The cost of analysis of the urine samples drawn from out-station horses on arrival will be borne by the respective Owner/s of that horse/s. 14. In case, an Outstation horse arrives in Mumbai but fails to race TWICE during the Mumbai Meeting 2016/2017, charges as detailed below will be debited to the account of the Owner/s concerned: If the horse does not race at all Rs.25,000/- If the horse races only once Rs.12,500/-. Stipendiary Stewards Mumbai: October 17, PRESENCE OF A HORSE ON THE CLUB S PREMISES. ENTERED FOR A RACE The Stewards of the Club at their Meeting held on 4th March, 2007 have decided that an Out-station horse must be present on the premises of this Club to participate in a race for which the horse is duly entered, before the time specified for the Acceptances, unless an advance intimation, in writing, is received from the Trainer concerned regarding the arrival date and time of the horse. Due to non-compliance of any of the conditions mentioned above, the concerned horse will be struck out at the Acceptance stage and the Trainer may be fined, at the discretion of the Stewards. 5 RE: N O T I C E GUIDELINES FOR MOVEMENT OF THOROUGHBRED HORSES INTO R.W.I.T.C. LTD AT MUMBAI & PUNE All concerned may kindly note that: A. All thorough-bred horses arriving at RWITC Ltd Mumbai/Pune from the Stud Farms/ Turf Authorities located in Glanders free States should possess the following documents: 1 Passport; 2. Valid EIA Certificate; 3. A Health Certificate from the Senior/ Chief Veterinary Officer/ Veterinary Officer where the horse last raced stating that the horse neither suffered nor showed any signs of infectious or contagious diseases like EIA, Glanders, African Horse Sickness and Dourine, etc. B. All thorough-bred horses arriving at RWITC Ltd from the Stud Farms/ Turf Authorities located in States where Glanders is either reported or notified should posses the following documents: 1. Passport; 2. Valid EIA Certificate; 3. CFT Glanders Certificate from DRL, Pune or NRCE, Hissar (Validity period 30 days). 4. In case a horse is arriving from a Stud farm A Certificate from Deputy Director/ Joint Director of Animal Husbandry Department of that location stating that there is No Glanders cases in that Stud Farm and also within the vicinity of 25 kms from the Stud Farm. 5. In case a horse is arriving from another Turf Authority - A Health Certificate from the Senior/ Chief Veterinary Officer where the horse last raced stating that the horse neither suffered nor showed any signs of infectious diseases like EIA, Glanders, African Horse Sickness and Dourine, etc. However if the Senior Veterinary Officer of a Turf Club certifies that a particular horse had suffered from Equine Influenza, then that horse shall be exempted from vaccination for a period of 6 months from the date of onset of clinical signs of Equine Influenza. D. The onus would be on the Trainer concerned to ascertain from the RWITC Ltd in advance of the documents required. E. Horses without necessary Certificate/ Passport Endorsement will not be permitted to enter the race course under any circumstances. F. The Stewards may impose any fine or penalty for the breach of these Rules at their discretion. Mumbai : 2nd February C. All thoroughbred horses arriving at RWITC Ltd from the Stud Farms/ Turf Authorities should be administered with primary course of approved vaccinations against Equine Influenza comprising of at least two doses given in accordance with the manufacturers recommendation but not within 14 days of departure and bearing the Vaccination Certificate with the details of Date of Vaccination, Name of Vaccine, Batch number and Expiry date and duly signed by either Chief Veterinarian of the Stud Farm or Panel Veterinarian only and duly endorsed in the Passport. Turf Authorities of India is permitting the use of Calvenza-03 Vaccine for Equine Influenza. 9 10

8 N O T I C E IN HANDICAP RACES OF CLASS I, CLASS II & 1600 METRES TO: ALL OWNERS Re: Trophies and Cups AND OVER IN ANY CLASS, HORSES IN THE IMMEDIATE LOWER CLASS ARE ELIGIBLE. It has been decided that if an owner opts to retain any Trophy, the Club shall get the plaque engraved with the necessary details such as the year and place of the Meeting, name of the race, the winning horse, the Owner/Owners. This facility is being offered free of cost to the owner. It is expected that the engraved Trophy will be ready within 7 to 10 days time and on receipt of the Trophy by the Club, it shall be duly forwarded to the Owner. As already intimated earlier if an owner requires a replica of a Trophy of a Classic Race or any other race won by him/her, an order for the replica will be placed with the manufactures on behalf of the owner/s and the replica will be supplied to the owner/s after receipt of the same by the Club. The Owner concerned would have to pay for the replica at the rate prevailing at the time such an order is placed on his behalf. Pune: 30th October, N O T I C E The Committee of the Royal Western India Turf Club, Ltd. has decided that in all those races, as specified in the Prospectus, excepting Sweepstakes and any other race in the conditions of which it is otherwise expressly specified, stakes will be paid for the fourth place only when there are six or more actual runners in races below 1800 Metres. However the stake money for the 4th place will be paid even if there are four actual runners in races of 1800 Metres and over
