4 MISSION STATEMENT The mission of Cape Coast Volleyball Club, is to develop volleyball skills in athletes through a fun, positive, and competitive athletic experience. CCVC strives to teach players the value of teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline and leadership so that every athlete has the opportunity to be the best they can be.

13 NIKE TEAMS Designed for those who want to compete at the highest level. Players seeking college scholarships. 3 practices per week (6 hours practice/week) 2 Coaches per team: 1 Head Coach and 1 assistant coach per team Impact and/or CAP certified Play in USAV tournaments Highest level of competition Travel to in state and out of state tournaments 2 & 3 day USAV tournaments 2 jerseys, 2 spandex, warm-up, 2 practice shirts, socks, bag, shoes, kneepads (other items available separately)
14 NIKE TEAM SUCCESSES We have assisted 85 girls with college scholarships since the year 2000 NIKE teams typically finish in the top 5 in their age division at tournaments In 2009, our 12 NIKE and 14 NIKE teams qualified for Junior Nationals in Miami Beach, FL In 2010, our 12 NIKE team won the 2010 Bid tournament and qualified for Junior Nationals in Reno, NV In 2012, our 11 NIKE team won AAU Regionals.
15 REGIONAL TEAMS Designed for serious players who are interested in playing a high level of competition and future college scholarships. Tryouts will determine if a regional team is appropriate. Regional teams will NOT exist at every age level These teams will be made from a NIKE tryout if numbers support 2 practices per week (4 hours practice/week) 1 coach per team Play in USAV & some AAU tournaments Travel in state, sometimes overnight (optional) 2 day tournaments one 3-day tournament for some regional teams Specialty practices available 2 jerseys, 2 spandex, 2 practice shirts, socks (other items available separately)
16 TRAVEL TEAMS Designed for beginner to intermediate players who are looking to improve skills 2 Practices per week (4 hours practice/week) 1 Coach per team AAU tournament schedule only 1 & 2 day tournaments Locally and in Orlando 2 jerseys, 2 spandex, socks (Other Items Available Separately)
17 LEAGUE TEAMS Designed for the beginner player or those who are active in other sports Age divisions: u 10, u 12, u 14, u16, u18 2 Practices per week (4 hours of training) Academy style training Patrick Barrett Head Clinician 1 local tournament per month Practices will be held at local rec centers (NEW) 1 jersey / 1 spandex (other items available separately)
18 MINI VOLLEYBALL CLINICS Youth ages 5 10 years old (must be 5 by Jan. 1, 2013) January to May 2013 Practices once per week. Cost $50 per month Beginning skill training and scrimmage play Head Clinicians: TBD Experienced players are welcome to volunteer as assistants Must have 10 participants to run this program.
19 FACILITIES We plan to move into the NEW Cocoa Expo Sports Complex when it is completed. 20 TRYOUTS & TEAM PLACEMENT Tryouts for ALL teams (NIKE, Regional, Travel & League) All players MUST tryout in YOUR age division first. MUST attend all days of tryouts for YOUR age division You may try out for another age division - additional $20 fee. Registration begins 1/2 hour before tryouts begin. $60 Tryout Fee Online registration available NOW! Team Placement based on attitude, volleyball skills and athletic ability of each individual athlete Goal: 10 players per team Tuition will NOT be adjusted per team to reflect different number of players per team. 23 THINGS NEEDED AT TRYOUTS $60 Cash or Check - pre-register & pay online before tryouts to get a FAST PASS and avoid lines. 28 TUITION PAYMENTS Tuition In Full or 5 Monthly installments. Cost per Team is the same regardless of number of players. 30 MONTHLY STATEMENTS Payments are due on the 1 st of each month except first payment due on team selection. Monthly statements will be sent out reflecting your payments and balance due Late Payments A $20 late fee will be added for those payments POSTMARKED after the 5 th of each month. Athletes will not be allowed to participate in practice or tournaments if their account is not up to date. If you have not paid your 2012 tuition in full, you will not be assigned to a Cape Coast 2013 team.
31 OTHER TUITION INFO Money raised through fundraising is not refundable. It can, however be held in the athletes account for payment on future club volleyball tuition. There will be NO tuition adjustment for players per team. Your first payment (commitment payment) is due on the night of team selection. Payments are due the 1 st of the month.
