In order to budget your money properly it is important to understand how you spend your money. Keeping an expense report/invoice will help organize and budget money. Measure of Length in the Metric System Canada formally adopted the modern metric system (the Système International d'unités or SI) in How long is it? How wide is it? What is its circumference? In the metric system there are four main units of measurement that are used in answering the above question. 1. millimetres (mm) 2. centimetres (cm) 3. metres (m) 4. kilometres (km) Here are some examples of what each measurement might look like.
