1 Loughborough Dynamo Junior Football Club A coaching strategy to develop FUNdamental skills, technical ability and tactical awareness for all our players. Season ldjfccoaching@yahoo.co.uk "Enjoy, Develop, Succeed"
2 LDJFC COACHING PROGRAMME The LDJFC coaching programme is split into three phases: The FUNdamental Development Phase - Mini Soccer. The Technical Development Phase - 9v9. The Tactical Development Phase - 11v11. As our players grow, mature, improve and develop, the coaching phases grow with them. The FUNdamental Phase is based around fun, enjoyment and ABC (Agility, Balance, Coordination) skill development. As our players move to the Technical Development Phase (9v9), the programme focuses on our individual's technique, and it's application in the game. The Tactical Development Phase (11v11) focuses on continuing to develop our individuals whilst developing tactical aspects of their game. The season is split into four blocks. Each block is made up of six weeks, covering a wide range of progressive topics, based upon possession, technical ball mastery, defending principles and attacking principles. The LDJFC ing Programme is intended to: Give coaches a framework to guide our player's learning. Offer continuity of learning throughout the age groups. Offer structure to our players and coaches. Offer all our players the tools to develop their game. Offer all our players a comprehensive learning programme. This programme is not intended to dictate what we coach or when we coach it, but ensure all our players are offered a comprehensive learning programme. We do not have to rigidly stick to it, just use it as a guide.
