Reading 1 Read the passage and answer the questions: Paragraph (1) I had always looked at children with special needs as "different" until my school started the project of voluntary work in the Friendship Group. I decided to participate in this project. Paragraph (2) The Friendship Group is a non-profit organization which has been created to help children and teenagers with special needs for free. Now" it has buildings all over the world. Each building has some of the most amazing facilities. Upstairs there are rooms for swings, arts and crafts, sports, games, and much more. Paragraph (3) Downstairs, Friendship Group made a small village. It ran regular programs where kids could take out money from the Frtendship Group Bank and explore the village. There is a wonderful cream shop, a beauty salon, a doctor's office, a movie theater library, a pet store, a craft studio, an ice and bikes. This helps prepare children with special needs to manage money, be safe, sit quietly in a movie, make an appointment, and much more. The purpose is to support these special needs children and help them get jobs when they are older. Paragraph (4) I believe that volunteering for Friendship Group has changed me. Through my apprenticeship there, I have learned to have good feelings for all people with special needs. This is the most amazing thing for me and I could not thank Friendship Group enough for teaching me this life lesson. Continue to 2
