4 At the end of September there was a special show in our school. We are going to tell you about it. The show was called Funny Olympic Games. 8.B class and 9th form pupils took part in it. They were divided into six teams. At the beginning of the olympic games there was a performance of six states, Russia, USA, Germany, China, Greece and The Ivory Coast. The first task was to think up their own flag, anthem and a few words in the language of their state.they competed in five competitions, that were very funny. The Olympics started under burning olympic candle. The first competition was a shot with floorball and basketball ball to a litter- bin.it wasn t easy to get the ball in the bin, but some competitors were successful. The next competition was a run with a wheelbarrow. We had to run as quick as we could beetween cones, but it wasn t easy, because we had a friend in a wheelbarrow and we had to keep him in. The third competition was skiing on the grass. It was wery difficult too, because each team had two boys or girls standing on one pair of skis and skiing.the fourth competition was throwing an old boot as far as possible.all the competitors were very handy and threw it quite far. But it was nothing in conparison with pulling the rope. This all was follwed by announcing the results. All the six teams got together under the candle. Golden medal went to Russian team. Silver went to Germany team. Bronze medal went to the USA. China won a potato medal. The famous sportsman blew down the olympic candle. This was the end of The Olympic Games. Wereporters think, that it was very interesting and funny for everyone.

6 is a typical autumn holiday. It is very popular with children. It is celebrated on the last day of October. It is a festival of ghosts and witches. A long time ago people believed that on that day dead people come back.they were very afraid and didn t leave their houses. Nowadays it is a festival of fun.we celebrated at our school this year, too. We could take part in various competitions. All the classes competed in the competition,, The best decoration of the classroom Decorations were interesting as our classmates did it very enthusiastically. The winners were 9th class and 5A class, but it was very difficult to judge it. Other competitions were :,, The most interesting pumpkin recipe,,, The most original pumpkin,,, The biggest pumpkin and,, The nicest pumpkin. This all was organized a week before autumn holidays.our teachers evaluated the competition on the 27 th October. All that day was a little bit crazy.we didn t learn and we could spend the day dressed in masks of ghosts, witches and monsters. In the afternoon there was a funny disco. All the day was funny and such days could be organized more often.
