1 Sports Snippets - Term 4 Week 4 Wednesday 7th November, 2018 We would love to share information about your child s special achievements across all sporting areas, please detailed information and a photograph if available to: skellett@arm.catholic.edu.au Apda Physie & Dance Sophia-Rose Markham competed at the Zone APDA Physie & Dance Championships in Tamworth on Saturday 20th October with fantastic results. In the Team section a 1st place & in the Individual Champion Girl section she placed in the top 8. She will now compete at the National Championships in Sydney on the 1st December BJP Physical Culture Sophia-Rose also competed at the Zone BJP Physical Culture Championships in Tamworth on Sunday 21st October with great results again. In the Team section a 1st place & in the Individual Champion Girl section she proudly placed 3rd. She will now compete at the National Championships in Sydney on 25th November Sophia-Rose displayed beautiful physie over the weekend with dedication, commitment & love of dance doing the two competitions over one weekend. 4 2019 NATIONAL FOOTBALL CAMP The Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS) has great pleasure in inviting you to the National Football Camp (NFC). The National Football Camp is a comprehensive four day football (soccer) camp for both boys and girls aged U5-17 (U5-U10 newly introduced in 2019) from across the country taking place in Armidale from the 20th-23rd of January The NFC embraces inclusivity, enjoyment, friendship in sport and sportsmanship as its core values. In 2018, at our second NFC, we were honoured to welcome over 180 children to the NFC from across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia and with the additional ages in 2019 we anticipate this number to surpass 250. The camp will feature high profile guest coaches to be announced in the coming weeks. If you are interested in attending this camp information flyers are available from the Infants and Primary Campuses or contact NIAS. 4
