1 Dept Goats Superintendent Stone County (Amber Kennon) All goats must be entered and fees paid by September 1, If an exhibitor does not have access to a computer, contact your County Extension Office or Vo-Ag Instructor. Late entries will not be accepted.. 1. ALL bucks must be registered and have registration papers in hand. 2. Young bucks ONLY. Age 12 months and younger. Young bucks will show in the buck show only. 3. The Junior Market Goat show is restricted to junior exhibitors. 4. Only Divisions 201 and 202 can be entered by Open exhibitors. Please see the Open Division for online entry 5. Exhibitors will be limited to two entries in each class per breed and may have a maximum of three in the market goat classes. 6. Goats must be owned by the exhibitors by July 15, All registered goats must have a legible tattoo, as recorded on registration certificate. All goats must wear a Scrapie identification ear tag. 8. Animals must be owned and registered in the exhibitor s name. No pending registrations will be accepted. 9. Does and wethers will show but does shown in the dairy goat show may not show in the market goat show. 10. The minimum weight is 50 pounds with no maximum weight. 11. Market goats must have baby teeth. 12. Any breed of goat or cross may show in the market show but a separate entry is required. 13. Goats may have horns but horns must be tipped for safety. 14. Each Vo-Ag Instructor or County Extension agent will be issued a weight sheet to record the declared weight of the animal. This must be filled out in ink. Animals must be weighed on official scales and weight recorded by the superintendent or someone designated by the superintendent. 15. All entries may be tested for drugs.

Each class will be placed 1 st through 10 th place and points will be awarded as follows: 1 st place - 24 pts, 2 nd place 20 pts, 3 rd place 18 pts, 4 th place 17 pts, 5 th place 16 pts, 6 th place 15 pts, 7 th place 14 pts, 8 th place 13 pts, 9 th place 11 pts, and 10 th place 10 pts.
