On Friday, we knew if we were in the top-five or -six we would be really happy. But we also knew this is not the event where the fastest guy wins; it would be the smartest. We managed to do the rally without any issues. It's been a great effort from the team so we're very happy. Now it looks interesting for the championship. We'll keep pushing." Sun 14:29 Rally Turkey result - Turkey after SS17: 1. Tänak 3h59m24.5s 2. Latvala +22.3s 3. Paddon +1m46.3s 4. Suninen +4m10.9s 5. Mikkelsen +7m11.7sec 6. Solberg +13m40.6s. Sun 14:24 Turkey Power Stage - 1: Neuville 4m59.58s (5 points) 2: Ogier +1.6s (4 points) 3: Tänak +3.8s (3 points) 4: Latvala +6.4s (2 points) 5: Evans +7.9s (1 point). Sun 14:20 Tänak wins Rally Turkey! - The Toyota driver completes the final stage safely to win his third event in a row. He's also third quickest in the Power Stage so claims 3 extra points. Job done. Sun 14:15

SS17: Latvala - He goes third fastest so far. He should be second overall. "I'm quite satisfied. The main thing was to get second place in the rally. It's great for the team absolutely fantastic." Sun 14:12 SS17: Paddon - He's through safely. He ends the rally in third place and is Hyundai's top finisher. "Really happy to be on the podium for the first time this year. It's been a tough rally and weekend for the team." Sun 14:08 SS17: Suninen - He's 22.0sec off Neuville's pace and that means he'll finish at least fourth overall. "It's been a great weekend. My first target was to try and manage the car and I did. We need some more pace to fight for the podium next year." Sun 14:03 SS17: Mikkelsen - The Norwegian can only go fifth fastest. "It was very important to take the manufacturers' points and not risk anything. I took it very safe and drove clever." Sun 14:00 SS17: Solberg - The Skoda Fabia R5 driver completes his comeback WRC event and will finish at least sixth overall. Sun 13:55 SS17: Ogier - He completes 1.6sec slower than Neuville. It won't be a maximum Power Stage haul for the Frenchman. "It was completely flat out. I knew there was not so much we could do because I think we are missing some pace but I did everything I could do with a puncture on the rear left. " Sun 13:53

SS17: Ogier - He's currently 1.2sec down on Neuville as he enters the final sector of the stage! Sun 13:49 All eyes on Ogier - The world champion is approaching the end of the Power Stage. How will he respond to Neuville's blistering time? Sun 13:48 SS17: Evans - He's 7.9sec slower than Neuville in this one. Sun 13:47 SS17: Al Qassimi - A solid run from the Citroën driver who looks set to claim some manufacturers' points. "One of the toughest rallies I've experienced during my career. It wasn't easy but this is part of the game." Sun 13:44 SS17: Neuville - He stops the clocks at 4m59.58s to go fastest by 11.0s! That was a big push. "That was absolutely flat out. We are fighting for the championship with some hard guys to beat but we deserved the win to be honest. We were leading the rally and were by far the fastest. But a small issue meant we stopped. I'm disappointed for the whole team but we win together and we lose together." Sun 13:41 SS17: Neuville - The championship leader is racing towards the Power Stage finish. What can he salvage from his troubled Rally Turkey? Sun 13:37 SS17: Østberg - He's the first World Rally Car driver to complete and goes 15.0sec faster than Kopecký. "The driving wasn't so bad but it was more slippery than expected. I think it's a positive end to a quite disastrous weekend."

Sun 13:36 SS17: Kopecký - The Skoda Motorsport driver wins WRC 2 and takes his fifth maximum score of the season! "We had some good luck and some bad luck here. But that's five wins in a row this season and the title is really close." Sun 13:33 SS17: Tempestini - He now goes fastest in his Citroën C3 R5 to finish at least second in WRC 2. "We are really happy. It was a really hard rally with difficult stages for us and the car. I'm quite happy with our pace and the result." Sun 13:29 SS17: Ingram - The Briton reaches the finish in 5m33.8s to claim a WRC 2 podium. "It's been an unbelievable experience. It's my first WRC event in an R5 car so to do this is incredible. The strategy paid off!" Sun 13:27 SS17 is LIVE - A slightly different running order for this one as WRC 2 runner Chris Ingram heads into the Power Stage first! Sun 13:19 Points are the prize - Remember, the five fastest drivers score bonus championship points in the Live TV Power Stage. We're expecting a big push from title chasers Seb Ogier and Thierry Neuville. Sun 13:13 Stage info: Marmaris 2 (7.14km) - The final stage is a re-run of this morning's Marmaris 1 test. It has a unique start a winding run through big concrete barriers at a bus station car park! But reality returns shortly afterwards as the test reverts to gravel for a 2km climb on a rough, twisty and narrow road. It remains technical for another 2km before speeds rise and the roads become smoother and more flowing. The finale brings competitors to within touching distance of the service park.

Sun 13:08 Welcome back - To our Rally Turkey text service. The Live TV Power Stage is up next. Andreas Mikkelsen leaves the line at Sun 13:05 Text break - A brief admin pause now as we prepare for the Live TV power Stage, where title chasers Neuville, Ogier and Tänak will all be desperately trying to steal bonus points from one another. Back very shortly... Sun 12:42 Junior WRC update - Further to our earlier update, overnight leader Ken Torn has now completed SS15 but losing more than 20 minutes has handed the category lead to Emil Bergkvist. Sun 12:38 Turkey WRC 2 after SS16-1. Kopecký 4h12m24.1s 2. Tempestini +1m.09.7s 3. Ingram +1m47.9s 4. Kajetanowicz +2m55.9s 5. Heller +7m38.6s. Sun 12:29 Itinerary update - The leading crews are now heading back to Marmaris to tackle the Live TV Power Stage. That test a re-run of this morning's Marmaris 1 stage starts at Sun 12:24 Turkey after SS16-1. Tänak 3h54m21.1s 2. Latvala +19.7s 3. Paddon +1m35.4s 4. Suninen +4m02.2s 5. Mikkelsen +7m03.7s 6. Ogier +20m53.4s Sun 12:15

SS16: Neuville - He's 1m13.0s slower in this one, but he has his eye on the bigger Power Stage prize. "It's not what we wanted to do but there is only one objective for us. We're going to push now in the Power Stage and see what we can do." Sun 12:09 Junior WRC drama - We're heading that category leader Ken Torn has gone off the road 0.6km into SS15. More info as we get it... Sun 12:06 SS16: Neuville - The onboard cameras and the split times show the Belgian is taking things very steady in this test. He's clearly protecting the car and tyres ahead of the Power Stage. Sun 12:05 SS16: Ogier - The Frenchman is through. He explains his decision to only take one spare tyre this morning clearly with Power Stage success in his mind. "We have to try everything. We know we are missing some pace compared to the Hyundai. We know it will be hard to win the Power Stage but we have to try everything." Sun 12:00 Turkey WRC 2 after SS15-1. Kopecký 4h03m38.5s 2. Tempestini 1m.05.2s 3. Ingram 1m43.4s 4. Kajetanowicz 3m00.2s 5. Heller 7m23.3s. Sun 11:59 SS16: Tänak - He's through the penultimate stage and is all set for the Power Stage. Will he be able to claim some extra points in there? "We'll see," he says. Sun 11:55 SS16: Evans - The Welshman explains why he started the stage early. "We were asked by the team to do it. That's all really."

Sun 11:54 Evans clocks in early - The time cards show Elfyn Evans clocked into SS16 early as team strategy comes into play. He'll pick up a penalty that will help team-mate Ogier edge closer to the points. Interesting stuff. Sun 11:53 SS16: Latvala - He's through. But he admits it's tough when you've dropped your pace to protect your podium place. "I have to say, you have to put some energy into your concentration. To step down on the rhythm, you really have to work with it." Sun 11:48 SS16: Paddon - He takes another step closer to his first podium of the year. "It's a about playing the long game in this rally. When you're in 'no man's land' it can be really hard because you have to look after the car. It can be really painful but it's what you have to do." Sun 11:44 SS16: Suninen - He completes safely to remain fourth overall. "I have been trying to be safe but it's hard to drive safely with the good rhythm. We have one stage to go and we bring the car home." Sun 11:39 SS15: Kopecký - The WRC 2 leader has completed the second stage of the day in 6m41.0s. He just needs to survive the next couple of tests. Sun 11:37 SS16: Mikkelsen - He completes the penultimate stage safely. "Everything is fine. Just getting to the finish is all it's about today." He also confirms his slow time in the previous stage was wrong. Panic over. Sun 11:35

SS15: Neuville - He's 34.6sec slower than title rival Ogier in this one. That's a massive chunk of time to lose but he may simply be saving his tyres for the Live TV Power Stage. Sun 11:28 SS16 is LIVE - The penultimate stage of Rally Turkey is underway. Andreas Mikkelsen is doing his thing as we type. Sun 11:26 Stage info: Gökçe (12.65km) - Set to start at 11.24, SS16 is one of the event s fastest stages. It is almost 8km before the first real junction tests drivers but that s not to say the opening two-thirds is plain sailing. It is wide and super-fast with challenging curves, but there s plenty of exposed bedrock on the surface to test the resilience of the tyres. The road becomes smoother but narrower to the finish. Sun 11:25 SS15: Ogier - He's fastest in this one by 3.2sec. He's clearly winding up for a massive attack on the Live TV Power Stage later today! Sun 11:21 Turkey after SS15-1. Tänak 3h46m3.9s 2. Latvala +17.6s 3. Paddon +1m24.7s 4. Suninen +3m45.1s 5. Mikkelsen +6m52.8s 6. 10 SS15: Mikkelsen update - The Hyundai team has confirmed its Norwegian driver didn't have any problems in this test. He's just been driving steadily, apparently. Sun 11:14 Turkey WRC 2 after SS14-1. Kopecký 3h56m57.5s 2. Tempestini 1m.03.9s 3. Ingram 1m36.8s 4. Kajetanowicz 3m03.3s 5. Heller 7m02.7s. #WRC Sun 11:12 SS15: Latvala - The Finn is fastest by 6.0sec as he looks to keep in touch with team-mate Tänak ahead. Sun 11:08 SS15: Paddon - The third-place man stops the clocks 4.9sec faster than Suninen. Just two more stages to go for him. Sun 11:04 SS15: Suninen - The Finn's time shows Mikkelsen has had a problem in the Ovacik stage. He's 39.9sec quicker than his Hyundai rival. Sun 11:01 SS14: Kopecký - The WRC 2 leader has come through the Marmaris 1 test safely. He remains eighth overall, as well. Sun 10:58 SS15: Mikkelsen - The Norwegian is the first may to complete the second stage of the morning. He clocks 7m13.4s. Sun 10:57

Turkey after SS14-1. Tänak 3h39m37.9s 2. Latvala +15.1s 3. Paddon +1m16.6s 4. Suninen +3m32.0s 5. Mikkelsen +6m35.0sec. Sun 10:56 SS14: Østberg - "The feeling with the car is good with the same set-up as Friday which was nice. There was no driving for me yesterday so I relaxed so I can build up the power today." Sun 10:52 SS15 is live - Andreas Mikkelsen has just started the second stage of the morning. Standby for more info as we get it... Sun 10:49 SS14: Neuville - The championship leader has clearly pushed hard in Marmaris 1! He's fastest by 4.9sec great prep for the Power Stage. "Every point is important. We look forward and we go for the Power Stage points." Sun 10:47 Stage info: Ovacik (8.05km) - SS15 is just about to get underway. Ovacik is one for the downhill specialists as all but the opening 500 metres descend. The first 0.5km is rough and bumpy through a series of hairpin bends, before the entire nature of the test changes. It opens out, with enticing corners which will encourage drivers to attack before a final section through a quarry to the finish. Sun 10:43 SS14: Ogier - The world champion gets a good first sight of the Live TV Power Stage route at competitive speed. He's fastest by 2.2sec. "I think it's pretty short today. It was hard to accept yesterday's problems as we fought so hard and I made such a silly mistake on a slow corner. The only explanation I have is that my brain wasn't working properly for a short time." Sun 10:40

SS14: Evans - The Welshman has little to fight for after his troubles in Turkey so far. But he still goes fastest by 1.1sec. "It's just a case of getting through." Sun 10:35 SS14: Tänak - The rally leader is fastest by 2.0sec on the cleaning road to extend his overall lead to 15.1sec. "I'm focused hard. Let's see how it goes. It looks like Jari-Matti doesn't want to slow down too much!" Sun 10:32 Tyre info - Ogier is the only one that's taking a risk this morning. He's taken five of Michelin's hard compound LTX Force tyres, while all of his rivals have opted for six. Sun 10:30 SS14: Latvala - The Finn goes fastest by 4.1sec as he looks to catch leader Tänak. "We're playing safe our tactic is to be smart." Sun 10:28 SS14: Paddon - The third-place man safely navigates his way through and is 3.5sec faster than anyone else so far. "The plan is to just cruise. But even when you're taking it easy there's still a lot of things that can happen with the big rocks on the road. You need to stay absolutely focused." Sun 10:24 SS14: Suninen - The M-Sport driver completes 0.02sec slower than Mikkelsen. "It was a nice stage it has a bit of everything. It will be a challenging one for the Power Stage." Sun 10:19

SS14: Mikkelsen - He completes in 5m25.0sec. "We go full safety mode today. It's very important to salvage the points. No risk. Proper Sunday cruise." Sun 10:16 SS14: Suninen - The Finn is the next man into the 7.14km test. Sun 10:14 SS14: Live - Mikkelsen is into the opening stage. Let's see how the fifthplace man gets on. Sun 10:09 SS14: Standby - We're watching the countdown on WRC+ All Live. Mikkelsen will leave the line at 1008hrs Sun 10:07 Stage info: Marmaris 1 (7.14km) - Today's opener features a unique start a winding run through big concrete barriers at a bus station car park! But reality returns shortly afterwards as the test reverts to gravel for a 2km climb on a rough, twisty and narrow road. It remains technical for another 2km before speeds rise and the roads become smoother and more flowing. The finale brings competitors to within touching distance of the service park. Sun 10:01 It's almost time - The first stage at Marmaris 1 will get underway in 10 minutes. Sun 09:58 Start intervals - Because of the risk of dust in Turkey, the World Rally Cars start at four-minute intervals.

Sun 09:57 Sunday's running order - We're in reverse classification order today. The World Rally Car runners will line up: 1.Mikkelsen, 2.Suninen, 3.Paddon, 4.Latlava, 5.Tänak, 6.Evans, 7.Ogier, 8.Al Qassimi, 9.Neuville, 10.Østberg, 11.Solberg. Sun 09:57 Weather - It's another glorious day in Marmaris with lots of warm sunshine and blue skies. The sun put his hat on at 0649hrs and the current temperature is 23 C. Crews will face temperatures of around 32 C as the morning progresses. Sun 09:55 Sunday's vital stats - Start: 1008hrs. Number of stages: 4. Stage distance: 34.98km. Finish: 1415hrs Sun 09:52 Look out for... - Some more thrills and spills. The first two days of Rally Turkey have been action-packed and it wouldn't be altogether surprising if the tough gravel stages throw up a few more surprises today. Sun 09:51 Junior WRC update - Last night's results have been amended and we have a new category leader: Ken Torn. The Estonian was given 30sec back by the event Stewards after they discovered he unfairly lost time in dust from Julius Tannert's car on SS10 yesterday. That means's he's overtaken Emil Bergkvist at the top of the Junior WRC leaderboard and now holds a 25.3sec advantage going into today's stages. Torn had initially been caught in Tannert s dust on SS10 which cost him valuable time to Bergkvist. The incident was looked into by the event Stewarts and Torn was given 30 seconds back. Sun 09:50 Sunday's itinerary - The last four stages account for 34.98km of competitive action. The crews will hope they can ease themselves into the final day with a incident-free run through the 7.14km Marmaris 1 test, before they move on to tackle the Ovacik and Gökçe stages that measure 8.05km and 12.65km respectively. The final throw of

the dice will come when they return for a second run through Marmaris 2 which hosts the Live TV Power Stage. Sun 09:42 The plan for today - It's Sunday the day an action-packed Rally Turkey reaches its conclusion. Today's route encompasses four special stages, two of which are a short drive south of the Marmaris service park, while the other pair are slightly further north. 16 Sat 17:35 Turkey WRC2 after SS13-1. Kopecký 3h51m28.4s 2. Tempestini +44.5s 3. Ingram +1m32.3s 4. Kajetanowicz +3m08.3s 5. Heller +6m59.1s. Kopecký retakes the lead Sat 17:33 Ogier's exit 3/3 - "Earlier today we fought really hard to get back in the race. It was a hard time and we made it back to service and we were still in the fight for really good points. So when you see what happens, we are out of the rally, it seems that things really don't want to go my way for the moment. But, you know, that's motorsport. You have bad days. I'm sure good days will come again." Sat 17:29 Ogier's exit 2/3 - "[It happened at the] exit of almost a hairpin, a very short distance to another very tight corner, so I had almost no speed. But I didn't listen well to the notes of Julien and I braked too late. Even with little speed, off the line, I just slid a bit wide and stopped on a tree, but with no damage. I drove backwards, then when I moved forwards the ground was so soft the car just went down and stuck." Sat 17:28 Ogier's exit 1/3 - "The only damage you can see on the car happened when we pulled it back onto the road! Otherwise there was no damage at all except a mirror. One of the most silly mistakes I've done in my career." Sat 17:28 Turkey after SS13-1. Tänak 3h34m22.5s 2. Latvala +13.1s 3. Paddon +1m10.5s 4. Suninen +3m22.2s 5. Mikkelsen +6m25.4sec. Sat 17:14 SS13: Mikkelsen - He completes and holds fifth place tonight. Sat 17:12

SS13: Ingram stops! - The WRC 2 leader lost a minute to his rivals between the 12km and 16km splits. Kopecky retakes the lead. Sat 17:10 Mikkelsen update - In stage. He started at 1649hrs Sat 17:02 Ogier update - Seb finally returns to the service area. His car was driveable, but was beached off the road in SS11. Sat 16:57 SS13: Evans - Second quickest to Tanak, 2.1sec off the pace. "If we'd had a run like this yesterday, it probably would be looking pretty good. We've just tried to look after the car today, with as little risk as possible but still keeping a nice rhythm. Okay, it's been frustrating at times, but we're here with no trouble." Sat 16:54 SS13: Latvala - Safely through Saturday's final stage, 5.1sec slower that Tanak to slot second overall. So it's a Toyota 1-2 overnight, with Tanak holding a 13.1sec lead over Jari-Matti. "I knew before the stage that my tyres were worse than his. With what I had, I'm quite satisfied with the job I did." Sat 16:48 SS13: Tanak - The Estonian completes, and that looks like the overnight lead settled. "Let's see where Jari-Matti comes, but this has been quite a surprising rally. A lot happening but we knew it would be tough. We didn't have performance so we just had to keep it on the road - and that's what we've been doing. Now we need a 1-2 finish in this rally." Sat 16:41

SS13: Paddon - Safely through and that's third place secured for Paddon tonight. "We just stuck to our plan, kept doing the same thing and it's working. We'll drop some time here because our rear tyres were nearly bald. I said I'd try a different approach here. I've learned from my mistakes, going off too hard and too fast, it's difficult to hold back, but it's working." Sat 16:36 SS13: Suninen - "Fourth place is pretty good but it's been a tough day. It's been pretty safe, but okay young drivers always want more pace! This part of the learning." Sat 16:30 Breen on C3 blaze 3/3 - "We couldn't do anything. The extinguishers were no use. I'm gutted for everyone. It sounds pathetic but I love my rallying and I've destroyed a car. I can't believe it." Sat 16:19 Breen on C3 blaze 2/3 - "It was the same again at the end of the stage. When we stopped it cooled down, all the heat had dispersed from the centre of the car and we thought everything was fine. Then it [the fire] just flew up from the rear right." Sat 16:17 Breen on C3 blaze 1/3 - "I have no idea what happened. We had a bit of smoke in the stage (SS11), and we stopped several times to check there was no fire. There was nothing. Every time we stopped the smoke went down, so we thought it was just heat." Sat 16:16 SS13: LIVE - Suninen in stage! Sat 16:14

Turkey after SS12-1. Tänak 3h19m45.0s 2. Latvala +8.0s 3. Paddon +52.3s 4. Suninen +3m10.1s 5. Mikkelsen +5m39.0sec. Mikkelsen drops to 5th (transmission). Sat 16:02 SS12: Mikkelsen - The Norwegain recaptures the spirit of the 1970s with his real-wheel drive World Rally Car. It looks a proper handful. He completes 39sec off the pace, drops from 4th to 5th and isn't in the mood to chat at the stage end. Sat 15:59 SS12: Solberg - Lying sixth overall in his R5-spec Skoda Fabia. "With Andreas' problems maybe I'll gain one more place," he says. "I'm happy with everything this weekend. Still more stages to go, so I'm concentrating on keeping the car on the road - and no punctures!" Sat 15:52 SS12: Mikkelsen - Underway at last in a cloud of dust (from the rear wheels only...) Sat 15:48 SS12: Evans - Second quickest and satisfied with his midday service work. "I must have put the wishbone on right, otherwise it would have fallen off!" Sat 15:42 Mikkelsen update - The Norwegian has reached the SS12 arrival control but has not checked in. Sat 15:38 SS12: Latvala - Fastest so far, 5sec up on his team-mate Tanak. "The car is fine now, it was just overheating, now it is working really, really well. I thought I drove

carefully here, so the time is a surprise. It seems the other drivers were more careful. Let's wait until the end of the day before we think about team orders." Sat 15:34 SS12: Tanak - "On this event anything can happen and you have to stay focused. I sacrificed this stage, with only slick tyres at the rear from the previous stage. Now for the long one we have nice tyres so I hope we can have a good run there." Sat 15:31 SS12: Paddon - 0.3sec quicker than Suninen. 'It's amazing out there. We're trying to keep a clean, smooth rally. It doesn't matter what Andreas does. The tyres are getting quite worn now so we're taking it easy." Sat 15:28 SS12: Suninen - "Just driving through. Of course I try to keep the pace and do as good a job as possible. Still we are missing a bit. Fourth or fifth place would be okay." Sat 15:23 Mikkelsen update - After working on his car he is still driving the liaison section to SS12. He'll miss his start time. Sat 15:16 SS12: LIVE - Suninen underway. 22 Sat 14:32 Mikkelsen update - Hyundai parked by the roadside, Andreas and codriver Anders have the spanners out. The sump shield has been removed and is covered in oil. Sat 14:06 SS11: Ogier - Reported stopped at 19.8km! Sat 14:05 SS11: Breen - He completes with the loss of almost 6min. What happened? "I have no idea. A couple of kilometres in we began to get smoke in the car. Later I had to stop because I physically couldn't see. We have to go and take a look now." Sat 14:04 SS11: Paddon - The Kiwi arrives earlier than expected, having passed Breen in stage. "Really hard on the tyres, you could feel them change at about 15km. I didn't manage them the best." Sat 14:01 Breen update - He has passed the 31km split and has dropped more than 5min.

Sat 14:01 SS11: Splits watch - Slow splits for rally leader Mikkelsen. He's about 15sec slower than other drivers so far to the 12km split. Sat 13:58 SS11: Suninen - First to complete. How was the road on the repeat pass? "It was clean, a narrow clean line. A lot of tyre wear though, I was trying to save the tyres." Sat 13:55 Breen update - He stops again at 22km but leaves the engine running. Both drivers jump out, have a look under the bonnet, then leap back in and get underway again - but at reduced speed. Sat 13:53 Breen update - Craig now holding his door ajar where possible to try and clear smoke from the cockpit. Sat 13:49 Breen update - Up to speed again with smoke continuing to billow from under the dash. Side window flaps are open but it looks pretty unpleasant in there. As well as reading notes, Scott has his phone out - it looks like he's composing a text message to the team. Sat 13:45 Breen update - Craig stopped around halfway through the stage to investigate. He and co-driver Scott both got out to look under the car, then hopped back in. Puffs of smoke still visible in the onboard footage as they set off again. Sat 13:41

SS11: Breen - WRC All Live pictures showing clouds of something inside the cockpit of the C3. Perhaps dust, but it looks more like smoke. All Michelin WRC drivers left service with six hard compound LTX Force tyres Sat 13:28 SS11: LIVE - Suninen in stage Sat 13:26 Evans in service - The Welshman and his co-driver Dan Barritt helped service their own car as mechanics were assisting on Ogier's car. He drops to second place, 1m10s behind new WRC 2 leader Chris Ingram. Sat 12:41 Ogier in service 3/3 - And the car? "I thought I would have to do the stage in rear-wheel drive. I was very surprised that it worked. Not every bolt was tight there was a question mark whether it would hold." Sat 12:18 Ogier in service 2/3 - What caused the problem? "It happened in the middle of the road, over a crest, it looks like a hole in the road or something. I didn't even see it." Sat 12:18 Ogier in service 1/3 - "I thought I would never make it. We struggled so much to put the wishbone back - it was just too tight in the subframe. I fought like hell, I was so close to giving up because I had no energy." Sat 12:17 Turkey after SS10-1. Mikkelsen 2h43m17.5s 2. Tänak +36.3s 3. Latvala +38.4s 4. Ogier +46.1s 5.Paddon +1m12.0sec. Sat 12:08 SS10: Ogier - What a recovery! Having fixed his car, Seb bags fastest time on SS10 to slot fourth in the overall standings. He's only 7.7sec off the podium places. "Still it's really good," he says. "It was a big fight. We made it at the last minute and I'm happy to be here!" Sat 12:04

Lappi update - His car has slipped further off the road. No way for them to get it out now. They'll need a crane. Sat 12:01 Ogier update - Repair holding well and he's showing great pace in SS10. Seb is quickest so far to the 8.2km split. Sat 11:53 SS10: Mikkelsen - Quickest so far. "Everything to play for. I tried to give it some more in this stage - hopefully we can make a bit of a difference." Sat 11:52 SS10: Latvala - 8sec slower than his team-mate Tanak here and Jari- Matti slips behind in the overall standings. "I tried, but this stage was difficult to remember. I should have watched it yesterday evening. Instead, I was concentrating too much on the first stage." Sat 11:50 SS10: Ogier - Underway in stage. Looks like he arrived six minutes late - so that's a 1min penalty. Sat 11:47 SS10: Tanak - Quickest so far, despite carrying a mechanical problem. "I picked up a steering column issue on the previous stage, this stage was better, I can drive." Sat 11:44 Lappi update - The car appears to be stuck fast. Not enough spectators at the scene to pull it back onto the stage. No evidence of work to try and shift it.

Sat 11:42 Ogier update - En route to SS10. Estimated to be five minutes from the start control. Sat 11:40 SS10: Lappi - He's in trouble! He has clipped a bank and the Yaris has drifted wide to the edge of steep embankment. Looks like it's beached, nose first, Italian-Job style. Lappi gets out to investigate, co-driver Janne Ferm has jumped into the driver's seat. Sat 11:36 SS10: Breen / Suninen - Both clear the stage. Breen is quickest by 10.7s. "Tough, but I'm just trying to go through with a good rhythm. One of these days we'll be back with a good road position and I can go hammer and tongs!" Sat 11:33 Ogier update - Moving! Sat 11:28 Ogier update - Seb and Julien still working on the car. Evans and Solberg have left the scene. Sat 11:27 Turkey WRC2 after SS9-1. Kopecký 2h40m55.9s 2. Ingram +45.3s 3. Tänak +38.4s 5.Paddon +1m05.3sec. Ogier suspension damage

Sat 11:18 Stage info: SS10 - Içmeler 1, 20.37km. Three asphalt sections interrupt the gravel in Içmeler, which is one of the rally's faster stages. There is a lot of gravel on the surface which will clean to expose the bedrock beneath and provide a tough test for tyres in the second pass. It is quick most of the way until the final kilometres which are twisty and uphill. Sat 11:15 SS10: LIVE - Ogier's drama aside, Suninen is underway on the next test. Stage notes coming up... Sat 11:14 Ogier update - It looks like Seb couldn't get the new wishbone in place. Henning Solberg, another top notch mechanic, is also on the scene and offered advice which seems to be working. Sat 11:12 Neuville reacts - After his miserable luck earlier, can he believe what he is seeing? "It could be a turnaround again. But neither Seb nor me deserve this luck today. It should have been a good fight. It looks like nothing is over until the finish line." Sat 11:09 Meanwhile... - Back in service, Neuville and the M-Sport Ford team are transfixed by the WRC+ All Live coverage. Sat 11:02 Ogier update - Ogier's team-mate, and ace mechanic, Elfyn Evans has arrived on the scene. He can't touch Seb's car, but he can offer advice. Sat 10:59

Ogier update - Seb has parked the fiesta on the liaison section to SS10 to make repairs. He and Julien have removed the front-right wheel. A new suspension wishbone is brought out of the boot. Sat 10:54 SS9: Ogier - He completes 18sec slower than Mikkelsen. What happened? "I don't know, I have something broken," Ogier says. Meanwhile Neuville has arrived back in service and is watching Ogier's drama on WRC+ All Live. "If it's a steering arm he can fix it," he says. Sat 10:48 SS9: Ogier - The new rally leader is not driving at full speed. His car appears to have front-right suspension / steering damage! Sat 10:46 SS9: Mikkelsen - Fastest through so far, 1.8sec up on Tanak. "I'm trying to drive like I feel, fast but within my limits. It's tricky with so many stones coming out - the second pass will be tricky for sure. I'm trying to keep the pressure on. I'm really sorry for Thierry. They were going at an incredible speed and taking some risks." Sat 10:44 SS9: Latvala - 2.7sec slower than Tanak here. "The engine stalled in one of the hairpins. I don't know why it stalled, I wasn't in the wrong gear. That cost about four seconds. It could have been good - it was an important stage for us." Sat 10:40 SS9: Tanak - Quickest though, but far from satisfied. "We need to keep going. We are fourth so we cannot be happy." Sat 10:35

SS9: Paddon - "We stalled the car coming down to the hairpins, lost a few seconds there. It's very loose and on the medium tyres we've lose the balance of the car a bit." Sat 10:31 Neuville out - Confirmation from Hyundai. Neuville is returning to service. Retired from the day. Sat 10:30 SS9: Lappi - The Finn 4.6sec slower than Breen and struggling to find anything positive to say. "A nice view close to the end? A lot of loose gravel, very twisty. I don't know. I'm frustrated, but you can only laugh. There is always something." Sat 10:29 SS9: Breen - Craig completes 9sec quicker than Suninen - but it could have been better. "I missed a hairpin and had to reverse. Not a good morning but I tried my best." Sat 10:23 Neuville update - Moving! Sat 10:19 SS9: Suninen - "It was an okay stage for me. A lot of loose gravel and I struggled on downhill braking, but we were okay." Sat 10:19 Turkey WRC2 after SS8-1. Kopecký 2h31m44.5sec 2. Ingram 1m52.3sec 3. Tempestini 2m50.9sec 4. Kajetanowicz 3m 28.4sec 5. Heller 6m11.8sec. Road penalties for Ingram.

Sat 10:18 Stage info: SS9 - Datça 1, 10.70km. Datça could become Rally Turkey's signature stage. There are stunning picture postcard views of the Mediterranean in the second half of the test but it also offers so much more. Fast and flowing roads, tight and twisty sections, rough and smooth gravel and an amazing descent towards the sea mean this has the makings of a classic. Sat 10:13 SS9: LIVE - Meanwhile, Suninen is already underway on the next test. Stage notes coming up... Sat 10:12 Neuville update - Nuts tightened and wheel replaced at the front, attention now turns to the right-rear before they attempt the drive to SS9. Sat 10:11 Neuville update - Rear-left wheel is back on. Thierry now trying to manhandle the new front hub into place. Cries of frustration from the Belgian while Nicolas tries to move the components with a ratchet strap. Sat 10:08 Neuville update - Thierry and Nicolas have assembled a completelooking strut and are trying to secure it to the front left. They are looking pretty cool and calm in the circumstances. Team engineers are monitoring their progress via WRC All Live coverage. Sat 10:02 Neuville update - The car is jacked up and there is a lot of nothing in the front left wheel arch. The wheel and the remains of the strut have been removed. The spring popped off in the stage. Thierry is at the rear left corner. Looks like they are trying to take suspension parts from the rear to swap to the front.

Sat 09:55 Neuville update - Thierry and Nicolas working on the car on the road section after SS8. Sat 09:50 Turkey after SS8-1. Ogier 2h19m48.2s 2. Mikkelsen +25.5s 3. Latvala +45.9s 4. Tänak +54.1s 5.Paddon +1m14.5sec. Neuville plunges to 9th (suspension) Sat 09:49 SS8: Neuville update - He drives away from the stage end to consider his options. Meanwhile, there is a huddle of anxious-looking engineers at Hyundai's service base in Marmaris. Sat 09:44 SS8: Neuville - He completes with the loss of 1m56s to Ogier. He looks stunned. What happened? "I don't know. Something has broken. We didn't hit anything, I just don't know. Unlucky, really unlucky." Sat 09:41 SS8: Ostberg - Stopped in stage. Turbo. Sat 09:37 SS8: Neuville update - We're watching a sorry looking i20 making its way slowly through the stage. The front-left corner skimming the ground. A few kilometres still to go. Sat 09:37

SS8: Ogier - Comfortably the quickest man on the stage, Ogier gives a shrug when he hears about Neuville's problem. "It's part of the game," he says. "I think I had a good stage but I was struggling for grip." Sat 09:34 SS8: Neuville in trouble! - About 8km to run and the front-left damper has punched through the bonnet of his Hyundai! This could be a disaster for the rally leader Sat 09:31 SS8: Mikkelsen - "I had some moments early in the stage. My pace notes were too aggressive, I don't know why. After that I had to ease off." Sat 09:29 SS8: Latvala - 7.4sec slower than his Toyota team-mate Tanak here and Latvala's advantage in the classifications is trimmed to 8.2sec. "The car doesn't turn, I'm really struggling," he says. "By accident I also turned off the anti-lag system for a while. I'm not happy. What can I do about it? Let's see." Sat 09:28 SS8: Tanak - Quickest so far but is it a gamble to carry only one spare wheel? "I don't think so. It's much smoother today, the road has a hard base. The target is to perform, still it's pretty difficult, hard to enjoy. Let's say I don't have full control yet." Sat 09:22 SS8: Paddon - First big evidence of the cleaning effect - Paddon a massive 27sec quicker than Lappi. "It's a different rally compared to yesterday. A lot looser and no rocks or things to avoid. I'm trying to be really tidy but I can feel I'm losing time in the twisty stuff. Something to work on." Sat 09:19

SS8: Lappi - 16sec quicker than Suninen, but frustrated about the spin/stall early in the test. "It's the same problem as always. The car doesn't downshift, we stall and then it doesn't restart." Sat 09:15 SS8: Breen - He completes 11.9sec slower than Suninen. There is bodywork hanging loose from the front-left corner, but nothing serious. What happened? "I heard a pace note wrong - a right not a left - I had to spin the car. I stalled, then had to turn the car around. Not great." Sat 09:12 SS8: Suninen - First to complete. How was it as first car in the running order? "A lot of cleaning I think. A lot of loose gravel - wheelspin in third and fourth gears. The road was smooth, not rough at all, but lots of loose gravel." Sat 09:06 Tyres - Morning loop choices confirmed. Most of the Michelin WRC drivers have the same package of six hard compound LTX Force tyres. The exceptions are Paddon, who has 4 hard and 2 mediums, and Ogier/Tanak who both have five hard tyres. Sat 09:02 SS8: Lappi - Half spin and a stall for Lappi at approx 13km. He stopped for about 5sec. Sat 08:56 SS8: Splits watch - Early leader Breen has dropped 15sec between the 7.25km and 12.32km splits. His car looks to be going well on the WRC+ All Live feed - but there is some light damage to the front bodywork. Suninen meanwhile has passed the 18.78km mark. Sat 08:53

Start intervals - Four-minute intervals between the World Rally Car runners. Breen and Lappi underway in SS8 now. Sat 08:45 SS8: LIVE - Suninen underway! Sat 08:37 SS8 Stage conditions - WRC TV crew reporting damp sections under the trees near the start. Sat 08:32 Stage info: SS8 - Yeşilbelde 1, 34.24km. It's a tough start to Saturday with another long and demanding test. It runs alongside the coast at the start and finish, with dramatic views to the sea below in the final few kilometres. It's open and smooth initially before becoming rougher, but it's not until the midpoint that drivers encounter a straight worthy of the name. Sat 08:29 SS8: Standby - We're watching the countdown on WRC All Live. Suninen on stage at 0835hrs Sat 08:28 Saturday's running order - Drivers tackle stages in reverse classification order today.
