2 Forward As we come to the conclusion of another great season of bowling (46th year of record keeping) of the Fairlanes Commercial League I was again reminded of all of the wonderful accomplishments of not only this season, but of all the seasons of the past 46 years. As in the past, this season was another special season for many of our league members and their abilities to roll great scores. This season our league had a new league champion as TJ s Quality Painting beat the Slutter Guts in the final in what was a really good match up. This season our league also rolled a record number of scores of 600 or better with a total of 910. Our league also witnessed a record number of 300 scores this season as Cory Brown did this twice and Randy Crawford, Randy Hudson and Matt Jacobs also each hit the milestone once for a total of five perfect games this season. Another awesome accomplishment would be our three 800 series this season as Jason Butler did this accomplishment twice and Billy Ward also made the 800 series club with his amazing score of 835 (910 HDCP). I must also note that these were both record high scores. Our league also had a new high average champion as Trevor Jackson took that with a fine 231 average and also a new point champion as Nick Lenhart won this title with a.600. As I close, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge Nels Dupy. Over this past summer, our league lost a close friend as Nels lost his courageous battle with ALS. I believe I speak for many when I say that Nels was a true inspiration for many of us and will always be remembered as a great bowler and special friend. It is his memory that I wish to dedicate this 46 th Annual edition of our Fairlanes Commercial League yearbook. Again I thank you for allowing me the opportunities to put this together each season and for all of the great memories that we as a league create each and every week and season. I consider this a privilege and an honor to represent our league. Have an awesome summer and I look forward to seeing you next fall as we begin our 47 th season of record keeping of the Fairlanes Commercial League.

6 2015 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS 2016 FINAL STANDINGS BY QUARTER FIRST Three Fingers Deep (by 5.5 over Split Happens) SECOND Commercial Gals (by 1 over Rockford 2) THIRD TJ's Quality Painting (by 11.5 over Slutter Guts) WILD CARD Impact Awards (by 8 over Rockford 1. Teams with most points won without winning a third) (Top Two Teams of each Third Qualified) THE QUARTER FINALS, SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS On March 15, 2015 it was TJ's against Rockford 2 and TJ's coming out on top by winning 24 points. TJ's was led behind the strength of Jake Pomorski's 745 and Jerry Hudson Jr's 643. Total pins had TJ's with 3720 and Rockford 2 with Impact Awards faced the Slutter Guts this night also and in a tough series, it was Slutter Guts winning by a total of It took a big set from Trevor Jackson and Derek Doughty to get the win. Total pins had Slutter Guts with 2471 and Impact Awards with Rockford 1 faced Split Happens also on this night and in a tough match ended up winning with a total. Pacing Rockford 1 was Jason Ward with a 712 and Billy Ward with a 650. Finishing off the first week of Roll-Off's was Three Fingers Deep and the Commercial Gals. Three Fingers came out with the win with a margin. Leading Three Fingers Deep was Josh Verberg with a 773. Total Pin count was 3550 for Three Fingers and the Gals For the Semi-Finals it was Three Fingers Deep against the Slutter Guts. Slutter Guts took the series behind the strength of Craig Stevens 621 and Derek Doughty's 620 and Trevor Jackson's 697. Also rounding out the Semi-Finals was Rockford 1 vs TJ's Quality Painting. TJ's took the match with a strong set from Jeremy Hudson with a 701. Total pins favored TJ's For the Finals, it was TJ's Quality Painting vs the Slutter Guts. In a strong match by both teams, TJ's prevailed with a point win. Total pins was quite close with a margin. TJ's was paced by Jake Pomorski with a fine 695 and Randy Hudson with a strong 693. Slutter Guts in a strong effort was led by Craig Stevens 646, Derek Doughty's 668 and Trevor Jacksons 666. Great Bowling!!

11 Impact Awards Jason Lidgey Jeremy Bartz Bill Parks Tim Gabert Larry Vance Dave VanDam Team Notes: Returning back for another strong season of bowling was the team known as Impact Awards. Impact this season made the roll-offs by claiming most points without winning a third with a total of 450 ½ points. Impact had a team average of just over 208 and knocked down a total of pins. Impact Awards had their highest team series on November 17 th where they rolled a fine 3329 series against Chow Hound. This night they also rolled a fine 1247 team score for the second game. Great Bowling again this season. It is a fun time bowling with you guys each season. Looking forward to next year!!

12 Belleroc Tire Ryan Hosteter Don Lutzke Mitch Meekhof Kyle Wabeke Larry Lutzke Keith Machin Team Notes: Belleroc Tire won a total of 314 ½ match points this season. Some of their highlights of this past season include taking out pins and winning 115 points in the second- third. Belleroc Tire had their highest series of the season just after New Years on January 5 th with a 2784 series and a 959 high team game. Also a highlight from this season was Don Lutzke cashing in on the booze bowl with a 743 score. Your team is always enjoyable to bowl with and I am looking forward to many more fun seasons of bowling!

13 Feed Me (AKA GR Gravel) Steve Povenz Randy Clark Kay VanBeek Char Litzenburg Brandon Sikkema Dan VanBeek Matt Schimke Returning for another vocal season was team Feed Me. For those of you that do not understand the name, it should be quite obvious as it is echoed throughout the Bowling Center each and every week as another person is stuck Feeding the man in pot. This season was yet another fine season of bowling with team Feed Me. This year they had a team average of 175 and also won 361 match points along with knocking down scratch pins. Randy Clark who cashed in on the Turkey bowl this season with a 765 series also added to some team accomplishments. As tradition would have it, I believe you guys handled us fairly well each time we bowled you? Ok, at least on March 15 th you did Congrats on a fine season, your team is always a privilege to bowl with and I truly look forward to bowling with all of you next season!! Start planning our team dinner for next year. It will take us awhile

14 Burlingame Dairy Dip Kevin Dodson Billy Lewis Brad Ashton George Ashton Tim Steenstra Craig Popma Team won a total of 382 match points this season. BDD has an iron man award go out to Brad Ashton for not missing a week. BDD had a team average of just over 196. Some of our team highlights included a high game of 1137 rolled on February 23 and a high series of 3156 rolled just prior to Christmas. Also a highlight this year was Billy Lewis Cashing in on Turkey Bowl. Our team knocked down a total of pins and just missed winning the second-third. Overall our team looked quite different this season with a new line up and the addition of Brad and Kevin. I really enjoy our team and I believe we have an opportunity to win many points and games next season. It was a great year bowling with each of you and I am privileged to call you both friends and teammates. Enjoy your summer and let s win it next season!!

15 Split Happens Mike Noorman Casey Withers David Radecki Dan Redecki Jeff Bowen Paul Peppel Split Happens was back for another outstanding season in our league this year. This year Split Happens won a total of 439 match points and had a team average of 183 (Up a pin from last year). This season, Split Happens made the roll-offs by placing second in the first third. Some other highlights would be Jeff Bowen winning the most improved award this year (+18). Split Happens also had many Yes Boys on February 23 rd where they had their high game of The team had a high series this season of 2876 rolled on February 2 nd. Great bowling again this season to all of you. As always, it is a privilege and pleasure to bowl with you. Looking forward to another great season next year.

16 DVB S Don VanderBoegh Chris Dupy David Dupy Matt Pence Cameron Schuur Curt Holtvulwer Corbin Graham DVB s made a nice return this season but had a new line up. Joining the team this year was Matt, Cameron and Corbin and returning to DVB s was Curt Holtvulwer. DVB s had many strong nights of bowling this season and had one of their member s make the Iron Man status as Corbin bowled each and every week. DVB s won a total of 355 match points this season and knocked down pins. DVB s had their highest game total on October 27 where they rolled a fine 981 game. Their high series for the season occurred on January 19 th where they had a 2758 score. Great bowling with each of you this year and welcome to the new members of your team. I hope to see you all back next season for another great year of bowling.

17 Carbide Paul Lidgard Dick Donnelly Ken Hollenbeck Duke Lidgard Karl Klienhekel Dave Lidgard Returning for a strong season this year was the group from Carbide. This season was another strong season of bowling from the group and the scores would indicate so. Carbide had a high game this season on January 12 th with a 1053 and high series also this night with a Carbide was also much healthier this season as they had two members reach the iron man status with both Dick and Duke. Paul also back from having a bionic arm installed made a strong return and had a big 704 series on March 22 nd and a nice 279 game also. Great bowling to all of you and I am looking forward to another great season of bowling with you next year. Just so I remember, Paul and Dick, how many seasons is it now??????

18 Commercial Gals Kathy Dykstra Miki Kraker Diane Lipscomb Amber Popma Sue Lidgard Making a nice return to our league this season were the girls called the Commercial Gals. This season, the Gals added a new face that would make our iron man (woman) list as Amber and Miki both were able to bowl each and every week. Many fine scores came from the Gals and they won the second third and qualified for the roll-offs. The gals knocked down pins this year and won a total of 386 ½ match points along the way. This would be 4 ½ more than another team I know Congrats also to Sue Lidgard for cashing in on the Turkey Bowl this year with a 745. Great bowling this season ladies, proud of all your accomplishments!! Now next year the bar has been raised, time to win it all. Great job!! Thanks to Miki and the Team for all of your help selling the 50/50 tickets!!

19 Misfits Thomas Thompson Jayme Burnham Matt Jenca Jim Hampton Karl Swanson Returning this season with a couple new faces and a new team name were the Misfits. This season was the first for both Jayme and Matt. I would like to welcome you both again to our league and truly hope you return next season. This season, the Misfits won a total of 395 match points and had a high game of 988 rolled on January 5 th and a high series of 2769 rolled on February 9. This season Jim Hampton also made iron man status and cashed in on the turkey roll with a nice 722 series. Karl Swanson led the team in average with a fine 201 average this season. The Misfits knocked down a total of pins this season also. Great bowling this season and I truly hope to see all of you back next season with us!!

20 Three Fingers Deep Josh Verberg Nick Lenhart Carol VanOveren Jeremiah Griffin Matt Jacobs Fred VanOveren Three Fingers Deep continues to be a very strong team in our league. This season was also another strong season for them as they once again took the first third and qualified for the roll-offs. Three Fingers also had the high game HCDP for the league this season with a 1406 and High Series of 3819!!! Some other highlights this season would be Nick Lenhart winning the points championship with a.600 and Matt Jacobs rolling a great 300 and 791 series on January 5 th. Carol VanOveren cashed in with her 736 for Turkey bowl and Josh Cashed in for this 773 also on Turkey Bowl night. The team knocked down pins and made a strong run in the rolloffs. Great bowling again this season!! I would also personally like to thank Fred for all of his help with our side pots and for managing the Website. These are a truly wonderful part of our league and we thank you!!

21 Slutter Guts Craig Stevens Derek Doughty Frank Doughty Erin Doughty Trevor Jackson Returning back for another strong season of bowling was the group called Slutter Guts. This season was an outstanding season for them and they averaged 190 as a team. This season the Slutter Guts also took second place in the league and won a total of 420 match points!! The team had its highest scores for game and series on February 23 where they rolled an 1109 game and 3157 against Carbide! Other accomplishments this season would be Trevor Jackson s high average of 231 (All Time league high), Craig Stevens with a high game actual of 279 and HDCP 340 (Division 2), Derek Doughty high series actual of 745 and HDCP of 880 (Division 2) and many other great scores along the way. Congratulations to your team this season on a great year season of bowling and also welcome to our league full time Trevor. Hope to see you back next season.

22 Y We Do It Brian Morgan Nikki Morgan Chris Morgan Andy Abbott Dave Hall Mike Griswold Returning for another season and looking to repeat as Champions in the Commercial league was the team known as Y We Do It. Although the team did not repeat as league champs, they still bowled a strong season and had many great scores. This year their team had their high game on February 16 a 1080 game and high series was on March 8 where they shot a fine 3100!! This season Y We Do It knocked down a total of pins and won 340 match points along the way. Great bowling with you guys again this season, looking forward to you making another run at a championship next season! I would also like to thank Brian Morgan for all of his help in running our scratch and HDCP pots each week. Many people are getting involved now and I thank you for putting it all together!!

23 Judd s Body Shop Randy Crawford RC Irwin Mike Thran Dick Koza Kevin Knott Robert Irwin Steve Belknap Returning to our league this year was the team known as Judd s Body Shop. This season Judd s won a total of 410 ½ match points and also knocked down a total of pins. Judd s had many highlights this season that I would like to share some of them. Randy Crawford had a 300 game on December 29 (High for Division 1) this season, and also took high in the booze bowl that night with an 832 series. Judd s had a team average this season of also. Judd s had their highest game on January 19 where they rolled a fine 1162 (232 averages) and a high series of 3165 on March 15 (633 per man). Great bowling again this season. Looking forward to many more great seasons of bowling with you!!

24 TJ s Quality Painting Jeremy Hudson Randy Hudson Jerry Hudson Jr. John Pomorski Curt Hudson Jake Pomorski What a great year for the team known as TJ s Quality Painting. This season, TJ s took the last of the thirds by winning a total of 175 ½ points and qualified for the roll-offs. Boy did they get hot at the right time as they ended up winning the league this season!! TJ s had a high game this season of 1102 on January 12 and a high series of 3192 on March 15. Some other accomplishments for the team would be Randy cashing in on the Turkey bowl along with John cashing in on the Booze Bowl. TJ s also knocked down a total of pins along the way this year on their way to the championship. Some other highlights were Randy Hudson s 300 on December 22. Congratulations to your entire team on a Great Season of Bowling!! Looking forward to seeing you return and trying to repeat as league Champions!! I would also like to thank John and the entire team for assisting with selling the strike tickets this season. We had a great number of people get involved and I thank you for all of your help with this!!

25 Chow Hound Pet Supply Don Dirkse Ed Fleming Jay Rance Greg Colegrove Scott Stephens Brad Nawrocki Joining our league this season was the team known as Chow Hound Pet Supply. This season the team won a total of 427 ½ match points, knocked down a total of pins and had many strong accomplishments. Some of their highlights for this season include a high game of 1137 on March 8 and high series of 3282 back on November 24. Also this season Scott Stephens cashed in on the Turkey Bowl with his 803 series along with Jay Rance with a 773 series. Not to be out done was Don Dirkse rolling a fine 761 score on the Booze Bowl night!! Congratulations on some great scores and I truly hope your team returns with us next season! Your team is enjoyable to bowl with!! Welcome to our league.

26 Bowlers Mart.Com Jason Butler Jessica Zahm Justina Butler Allison Neal Britney Nadeau Matthew Parks Also joining our league this season was the group known as Bowlers Mart.com. Bowlers Mart had many great scores this season in their first year in the league. The team had a high average of 207 and also won a total of 428 ½ match points. Some other accomplishments would be a team high game of 1220 on March 8 (244 per person) and a high series of 3410 (682 per person) on January 12. Also this season, Allison qualified on the iron-man (woman) list by rolling all 90 games!! I also want to congratulate Jason Butler for rolling multiple 800 series this year with his first on February 16 with an 814 and then a few weeks later a fine 802 on March 8 th. Great bowling to all of you this year on your first season in our league. I hope to see you back next season!!

27 Rockford 1 Jason Ward Dale Brown Billy Ward Eric Montgomrey Corey Brown Josh Lamoreaux Joining our league this season was the team coming from Rockford known as Rockford 1. In their inaugural season in our league, Rockford had many great accomplishments. They had a high team game of 1183 rolled on January 12 and a high series this night also of The team knocked down a whopping pins this season and also won 442 ½ match points. This season also Dale made the iron-man list with this bowling all 90 games. A special shout out also to Billy Ward for his fine 835 (910 HDCP) on January 12 where he rolled 280, 276 and 279 (League all time high series). Also I would like to congratulate Corey for shooting multiple 300 games on December 1 st and also on March 8 th. Great bowling to all of you and a nice job of qualifying for the roll-offs. I truly hope you guys return next season. You are an enjoyable group to bowl with. Welcome to our league!!

28 Rockford 2 Nick Vandrunen Jon Lewis Brian Cobb Nick Taylor Robby Schmock Also joining us from Rockford this season was the team known as Rockford 2. Rockford 2 had many great scores this season as well and just beat out Rockford 1 in pins knocked down with taking out pins. The team also won a total of 424 ½ points this season and qualified for the roll-offs. Rockford 2 had their highest game of 1217 rolled on January 5 (243.4 average) and high series rolled on March 8 where they had a fine 3426 (685.2 average). This team was a very competitive team and found many ways to win this season. The team had a team average of Great Bowling this season guys!! I also truly hope that you will return with us next year! You bring a great level of competition to our league and are fun to compete with!! Welcome and congratulations on your accomplishments this season!!
