14 Push ribbon up with both hand s and pass bottom of ribbon through slots of the ribbon v ibrator. Then pull ribbon clown until it comes comple te ly out of the slots. Raise rihbon up, free of the ribbon vibrator. d) Open up spool catches and re move both spools. Unhook ribbon from the cmptv spool. Di spose of spool with the worn ribbon. e) Hook ne w ribbon onto e mpty s pool a nd wind manually until the stopper rive t on the ribbon is wound into the spool. f) Open up spool catch a nd place ne w ribbon spool onto left spool holder shaft so that red portion of ribbon is at the bottom and s pool unwinds in c lockwi se direc tion. Place t he other spool onto right sp ool h old e r sha ft. g) Take away unnecessar y slac k in ribbon b y winding either spools and p ass ribbon throu gh lef t and right ribbon guides. InsP rl ribbon behind r ibbon vibrator and push lop ed ge of ribbon through s lo t s of ribbon v ibra tor. P ull ribbon up until bottom of ribbon p asses comple te ly through the ribbon vibrator slots and then cl own to nestle ribbon in ribbon vibrator properly. h) Take out unnecessary slack in ribbon IH" winding e ithe r spools. ]{cplacc top cove r. 17.
