Mileage and generalized directions are from Roseburg Courthouse.* 1. Amacher County Park, Winchester 6 mi., 9 min. Campground and day-use County park located on the North Umpqua River. Boat ramp and some bank access. Take exit 129, off I-5, Winchester / Wilbur. Right at OR-99/NE Stephens, make first right after bridge. DC 2. Apple Creek Campground, (fly fishing only) 44 mi., 50 min. North Umpqua River: Primarily catch and release, camping, bank fishing. Access to North Umpqua hiking trail. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go approximately 43.5 miles. Apple Cr Campground on right. USFS 3. Ben Irving Reservoir, Tenmile 18 mi., 24 min., crappie, bluegill, bass Stocked rainbow trout and warmwater fishing. Boat ramp. Restrooms and picnic area. Take exit 119, off I-5, Coos Bay/Winston. Merge onto Hwy. 42, go about 11 miles. Left at Ireland Rd, go about 0.5 miles. Right at Berry Cr. Rd. DC 4. Bogus Creek Campground, (fly fishing only) 35 mi., 42 min. North Umpqua River: primarily catch and release; launching point for whitewater rafters. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go approximately 35 miles. Bogus Creek river access on right. USFS 5. Boulder Flat Campground, Toketee (fly fishing only) 53 mi., 59 min., steelhead Camp Water at Mott Bridge, Steamboat North Umpqua River: primarily catch and release, camping and picnic area available. Adjacent to Boulder Creek Wilderness area. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go approximately 52.5 miles. Boulder Flat Campground on left. USFS 6. Bunch Bar, Elkton 44 mi., 52 min., shad, bass Great river access for bank fishing in lower mainstem Umpqua. Restrooms available. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Calapooya Creek (Stearns Park), Oakland 16 mi., 22 mins. Access to Calapooya Creek. Park has restrooms and picnic tables. Park closed in winter. Take exit 138, off I-5, towards Oakland. Merge onto Stearns Ln, go about 1 mile. Slight left to stay on Stearns Ln., left onto Goodman Ave. 8. Camp Water at Mott Bridge, Steamboat (fly fishing only) 39 mi., 46 min. North Umpqua River, primarily catch and release. Great bank fishing for summer steelhead in scenic and historic setting. Interpretive kiosk. Restrooms. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go approximately 39 miles. Right over Mott Bridge, park on right and hike down trail to river. USFS 9. Canyonville (Behind Seven Feathers Casino), Canyonville 26 mi., 28 min. Steelhead, bass South Umpqua River bank access. Near winter steelhead acclimation site. Take exit 99, off I-5, N. Canyonville/Crater Lk. Left at Creekside Rd/Jeffreys Rd. Left onto Gazley Bridge Rd,

2 go about 0.25 miles, pull into parking area just before bridge. CCBUTI 10. Canyonville County Park/Pickett Park, Canyonville 28 mi., 35 min. Steelhead, bass Boat ramp and bank access to the South Umpqua River. Restrooms and picnic area available. Take exit 98, off I-5, Canyonville- Riddle Rd. Left at 1st St./Canyonville-Riddle Rd. Second right onto SE Main St. Take second left onto SE 3rd St., continue onto Douglas County Hwy 1/Tiller Trail Hwy. about 1 mile. Left at Canyonville Park Rd. DC 11. Cleveland Rapids County Park, Winchester 14 mi., 20 min., bass, shad Day-use park with boat launch facility on Umpqua River. Great bank access for steelhead and salmon. Restrooms and picnic area available. Take exit 129, off I-5, Winchester/Wilbur. Right onto OR-99 S/NE Stephens. First right onto Del Rio Rd., go 4.5 miles. Right onto Garden Valley Rd., go about 2.5 miles. Keep left at fork, left onto Cleveland Rapids Rd., go about 1 mile, boat ramp on left. DC 12. Cooper Creek Reservoir, Sutherlin 16 mi., 28 min., bass, bluegill Boat ramps, bank fishing, swimming area, water skiing, picnic area, pavilion and restroom. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/ Sutherlin. Right at West Central Avenue. Right at Waite St., continue on Southside Rd. Right at Cooper Cr. Rd. DC 13. Colliding Rivers Boat Ramp, Glide 16.5 mi., 20 min. Boat ramp, picnic area, and restrooms. Head east on Hwy. 138 / Diamond Lake Blvd. Go about 16 miles, boat ramp on left, just before Little River Rd. DC 14. Days Creek Boat Ramp, Canyonville 34 mi., 45 min. Steelhead Boat ramp on South Umpqua. Take exit 98, Canyonville/Days Cr. Left onto 1st St/Canyonville-Riddle Rd. Right after crossing bridge over S. Umpqua River. 15. Deer Park (Stewart Park), Roseburg 0.5 mi., 1 min. Steelhead Bank fishing access to the Umpqua. Day-use park. Bike trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions, and ball fields. Head NW on SE Douglas Ave toward SE Jackson St. First right onto SE Jackson St. Continue onto NE Winchester St, left onto NE Rowe Ave. Walk bike path to the mouth of Deer Cr. 16. Douglas County Fairgrounds Boat Ramp, Roseburg 3 mi., 6 min. Steelhead, bass Boat ramp, bank fishing, camping, RV park, picnic area, playground, and museum. Take exit 123, off I-5, Fairgrounds/Umpqua Park. Left at Heritage Way / SW Portland Ave. First right onto Frear St, ramp is behind fairgrounds building. DC 17. Eagle Rock Campground, North Umpqua (fly fishing only) 51 mi., 58 min. Bank fishing, campground, picnic area, and restrooms. From Roseburg, head east on Hwy. 138 / Diamond Lake Blvd. Go about 51 miles, river access on left. USFS 18. Elk Creek Tunnel Forest State Park, Elkton 38 mi., 46 min. Bank fishing access on several miles of Elk Creek. Take exit 136, off I-5, OR-138, Elkton/Sutherlin. Left onto OR-138 W/W Central Ave/Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy, go about 24 miles. Right onto OR-38, go about 4 miles. ORSP 19. Elkton Boat Ramp, Elkton 38 mi., 46 min., shad, smallmouth bass Boat ramp, bank fishing, picnic area, adjacent RV park on the Umpqua. Take exit 136, off-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Left at Hwy. 138 W / W Central Ave / Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy. Go about 24 miles. Left at OR-138 W / Umpqua Hwy. Take third left onto 2nd St., right at River Rd. COE 20. Galesville Reservoir, Azalea 37 mi., 42 min., landlocked coho, bass, bluegill Boat ramp, campground, rental cabin, picnic area, pavilion, playground, restrooms and trails. Take exit 88, off I-5, Azalea / Galesville Reservoir. Left at Azalea-Glen Rd. Continue onto Upper Cow Creek Rd about 7.5 mile, boat ramp on right. DC 21. Happy Valley Boat Ramp, Green District 6 mi., 12 min. Boat ramp, bank fishing, and picnic area with restroom. Take exit 120, off I-5, Green District / Roseburg. Slight right toward OR- 99S, left at OR-99S. Take first right onto E. Happy Valley Rd., right at Amber St., left onto Poteet St. DC 22. Herberts Pond Park, Canyonville 28 mi., 35 min., bluegill

Right at OR 99 S/NE Stephens St. Take first right onto Del Rio Rd, go about 3.5 miles and turn left at Hestness Park. DC 24. Horseshoe Bend, Dry Creek Area 48 mi., 56 min., steelhead Raft boat launch, bank fishing, campground, picnic area, and restrooms. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go approximately 46 miles. Turn right, go approximately 0.5 mile, Horseshoe Bend Campground on right. USFS 25. Hutchinson State Park, Tyee 28 mi., 34 min., shad, smallmouth bass Day-use area with bank access to the Umpqua River. Take exit 136, off I-5, OR-138, Elkton/Sutherlin. Left onto OR-138 W/W Central Ave/Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy, go about 15 miles, destination on left. ORSP 26. Island Creek Day-use Area, Riddle 31 mi., 46 min., steelhead Day-use only park on Cow Creek. Bank fishing, picnic area, and restroom. Take exit 103, off I-5, Tri-City/Myrtle Creek. Slight right onto Pruner Rd, continue onto Riddle Bypass Rd, go about 5 miles. Continue onto Cow Cr Rd about 4 miles, destination on left. BLM 27. James Woods Boat Ramp, Tyee 22 mi., 35 min., shad, smallmouth bass Boat ramp, bank fishing, picnic area and restroom. Take exit 136, off I-5, OR-138, Elkton/Sutherlin. Left onto W/W Central Ave/Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy, left onto Fort McKay Rd/Sutherlin Umpqua Rd, go about 6 miles, turn right onto Tyee Rd., go about 6 miles, boat ramp on left. DC 28. Lawson Bar, Canyonville 24 mi., 29 min. Day-use park on Umpqua River with bank fishing, disc golf, and gravel bar boat launch. Take exit 102, off I-5, Gazley Rd. Right at Gazley Rd, left onto Lawson Bar Rd., go about 0.5 miles to gravel bar. 29. Little River (Emile Rec Site), Glide 31 mi., 46 min. Bank fishing access on Little River. Nearby hiking trails available. Take OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd, follow for 16 miles. Right onto Little River Road, go about 5.5 miles, stay left. Continue on Little River Road for about 9 miles, site on right. BLM

4 30. Mack Brown Park, Umpqua 19 mi., 38 min., shad, smallmouth bass Wooded rural park on mainstem Umpqua with picnic area, and restroom. Take exit 136, off I-5, OR-138, Elkton/Sutherlin. Left onto W/W Central Ave/Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy, left onto Fort McKay Rd/Sutherlin Umpqua Rd, go about 6 miles. Right onto Tyee Rd, go about 3.5 miles, park on left. DC 31. Myrtle Creek Boat Launch, Myrtle Creek 18 mi., 23 min. Smallmouth bass, steelhead Day-use area with gravel bar boat launch to the South Umpqua River. Take exit 108, of I-5, Myrtle Creek. Left onto N Main St, go about 1 mile. Right onto SW Western Ave, follow for about 0.25 mile to gravel bar. 32. Narrows Wayside, Idlelyd Park 21 mi., 27 min. Steelhead, chinook Day-use area with bank fishing on the North Umpqua River. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd, go about 21 miles. The Narrows Wayside is on right. DC 33. Osprey Boat Ramp, Tyee 31 mi., 46 min., shad, smallmouth bass Boat ramp, bank fishing, and restrooms available. Take exit 136, off I-5, OR-138, Elkton/Sutherlin. Left onto OR-138 W/W Central Ave/Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy, go 10.5 miles. Left onto Tyee Rd, go 7 miles, boat ramp on right. BLM 34. Page Road Boat Ramp, Winchester 6 mi., 12 min. Day-use area and take out only boat ramp. From Roseburg, head NW on SE Douglas Ave toward SE Jackson St. Right onto OR- 99 N/SE Stephens St., go about 5 miles. Right onto Page Rd, go about 1.1 mile, ramp on left. ODFW 35. Plat I Reservoir, Sutherlin 17 mi., 32 min., bass, bluegill Day-use area with bank fishing, boat ramp, picnic area, and restrooms. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Right at W. Central Ave. Go about 3.3 miles, continue onto Nonpareil Rd., go about 1 mile, right at Plat I Rd. go about 1 mile. COS 36. Red Top Pond, Myrtle Creek 38 mi., 60 min., bass Stocked pond, trout in spring, warm water year-round. Take exit 108 (Myrtle Creek) off I-5. Left onto N. Main St. Left onto 1st Ave, right onto NE Division St., continue onto S. Myrtle Rd, go 15 miles. Continue onto BLM Rd 35-0, go about 2.5 miles. Left onto BLM Rd for 1.3 miles. BLM 37. Richard Baker Park, Idleyld Park (fly fishing only) 25 mi., 31 min. Day-use park with picnic area and restroom. Head east on OR- 138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go approximately 25 miles. Baker Park is on right. DC 38. River Forks Park, Roseburg 8 mi., 18 min., shad, smallmouth bass Boat ramp, bank fishing and day-use park at confluence of North and South Umpqua. Ball field, horseshoe pits, indoor facility rental, pavilion, picnic area, playground, and restrooms. Head NW on SE Douglas Ave. toward SE Jackson St. Right onto SE Stephens, go about 1 mile. Left onto NE Garden Valley Blvd., go about 5 miles. Left onto Old Garden Valley Blvd., go about 1.5 miles. Left onto River Forks Park Rd., go about 0.5 miles. DC 39. Sawyers Rapids, Scottsburg 47 mi., 56 min., shad, smallmouth bass Fee boat launch. Fee camping, rental cabin, picnic area, restrooms/ showers. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Follow OR-138 W. Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy. Go about 24 miles, left at OR-38 W/Umpqua Hwy, go about 10 miles, Sawyers Rapids RV Park on left. DC 40. Scotts Creek Boat Ramp, Scottsburg 48 mi., 58 min. Day-use park with boat launch facility, picnic area, and restroom on Main Umpqua River. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Follow OR-138 W. Elkton-Sutherlin Hwy. Go about 24 miles, left on OR-38 W/Umpqua Hwy, go about 11 miles, boat ramp on left. DC 41. Soda Springs Reservoir, Toketee 54 mi., 60 min. Several dispersed camping areas nearby and great hiking on the North Umpqua Trail. Take OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd, follow for 55 miles. Left onto Rd 4775, destination on left. Amacher Park to Hestness Landing - North Umpqua Colliding Rivers Boat Ramp to Whistler s Bend Park - North Umpqua Lawson Bar to Myrtle Creek-South Umpqua James Wood to Osprey - Mainstem Umpqua Always use caution and wear a life jacket when floating on the river. 42. Stanton Park, Canyonville 26 mi., 33 min. Day-use park with boat ramp, overnight campground, horseshoe pits, restroom/showers, and playground on the South Umpqua. Pavilion and group camping available. Take exit 101, off I-5, Riddle. Right onto Ravenswood Rd. (signs for Stanton Park/ Riddle/OR-99). Right onto Stanton Park Rd, go about 1.5 miles, Stanton Park is on the left. DC 43. Stewart Park, Roseburg 2 mi., 6 min. On the South Umpqua, this 236-acre park in Roseburg has bank fishing, tennis courts, playground, sand volleyball, pavilion, picnic areas, restrooms, horseshoe pits, and an antique parked steam locomotive. Head NW on SE Douglas Ave. toward SE Jackson. Take third left onto SE Stephens. First right onto SE Washington Ave, go about 0.4 miles. Continue onto W. Harvard Ave/NE Willow St., go about 0.7 miles. Right onto Centennial Dr., left onto W. Stewart Park Dr., go about 0.3 miles. COR 44. Susan Creek Campground, Idleyld Park 29 mi., 36 min. Raft launch, bank fishing, campground, picnic area, waterfalls trail and restroom. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go about 29.5 miles. Susan Cr Campground is on right. BLM 45. Swiftwater Recreation Area, Idleyld Park 23 mi., 30 min. Day-use area with pavilion, picnic area, restroom and trails. Head east on OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd., go about 23 miles. Swiftwater BLM area on right. BLM 46. Templin Beach Park, Roseburg, 1 mi., 5 min. Day-use park with boat ramp, off leash dog park, and restroom on the South Umpqua. Head NW on SE Douglas Ave. toward SE Jackson St., take third left on SE Stephens. Continue onto SE Pine St., turn right onto SE Mosher, take second left onto SE Flint, turn right, end at boat ramp. COR 47. Tyee Recreation Area, Tyee 25 mi., 30 min., shad, smallmouth bass Umpqua River. Bank fishing, campground, day-use park with picnic area, pavilion, horseshoe pits, and restrooms. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Turn left onto OR-138 W/W Central Ave/Elkton Sutherlin Hwy, go about 11 miles. Turn left onto Bullock Rd., drive over bridge and turn right. Go about 0.5 mile, campground on right. BLM 48. Umpqua Landing Boat Ramp, Umpqua 16 mi., 30 min., shad, smallmouth bass Umpqua River. Day-use park with boat ramp, picnic area, and restroom. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Left onto OR- 138 W/W Central Ave/Elkton Sutherlin Hwy, go about 0.5 miles and turn left onto Fort McKay Rd/Sutherlin-Umpqua Rd, go about 6.5 miles, turn left into boat ramp parking lot. DC 49. Whistler s Bend Park, Glide 15 mi., 23 min., trout 147 acre park located along the North Umpqua River with boat ramp available. Park contains open meadows and mixed forests, camping, fishing, disc golf, trails. Follow OR-138/NE Diamond Lake Blvd heading east, go about 12 miles. Left onto Whistlers Park Rd, go about 3.5 miles. DC 50. Yellow Creek Boat Ramp, Tyee 25 mi., 31 min. Salmon, shad, steelhead, smallmouth bass Boat ramp and bank access on mainstem Umpqua River. Site includes benches, restrooms, and a large parking area. Take exit 136, off I-5, Elkton/Sutherlin. Turn left onto OR-138 W/W Central Ave/Elkton Sutherlin Hwy, go about 13 miles, boat ramp on left. DC Umpqua River near Tyee Have more than 60 minutes? If so, you can fish one of the high Cascade lakes east of Roseburg, like Diamond Lake, Lemolo Reservoir, or Toketee Reservoir (all off Hwy. 138).
