3 WELCOME TO THE NEW AUSTACKLE! New Company, New Logo & Lots of New Products! Welcome to our first Catalogue under the new ownership and branding. Tracey Mammen is now working full-time in the new company and many of the new products and design ideas reflect her input. After almost 10 years of focussing mainly on the Bream and Bass tournament scene, Austackle is now broadening its product range to suit the general market as well as still catering for dedicated tournament anglers. Our first Catalogue is a mixture of the old and new. During the course of 2015 we will develop and release many more new products at prices the average family can afford. 4 EXPEDITER WARRANTY FOR RODS & REELS All Austackle products are warranted to be free from defects in manufacture. Rods and reels in particular are potentially subject to damage in many different ways which are not covered by warranty e.g. dropping a rod combo on rocks, travelling with rods extending out of car windows, high sticking (loading the rod past 45 degree angle), or fully immersing a reel into saltwater. Graphite rods in particular need to be treated with care. They are great to fish with due to their inherent light weight and sensitivity. They are also brittle compared to fibreglass rods, and without due care, can break. For example, a nick or slight fracture in the blank caused by knocking against the side of the boat whilst in transit can cause a rod to break several weeks later for no apparent reason. The list of possibilities is almost endless. What we do know after making literally tens of thousands of rods over the past 10 years, is that very few blanks break due to a fault in manufacture. If a rod can be loaded up in the shop before sale without any problems, then the blank is free of manufacturing faults. With Reels, our experience shows that the vast majority of reel problems are caused from failure to follow proper maintenance guidelines as outlined in the Instruction Guides. No Hassle Accidental Damage or Breakage Service We understand that accidents do happen! We are therefore offering a hassle free way of replacing a rod or reel that has been accidentally broken or damaged. No more waiting around to see if a warranty claim has been accepted, no hassle and expense of packing and shipping the broken product back to the manufacturer. No questions asked. A broken rod or reel need never keep a customer off the water for weeks again. We do reserve the right to ask for a photo of the broken or damaged item. How it works: If during the first 24 months of ownership, a customer has a problem with their rod or reel which isn t covered under the normal manufacturer's warranty, then all a customer has to do to get a new rod or reel is to take it back to the retailer from whom it was purchased (or return it to us directly) and pay a replacement fee according to the type of product. This service is only available to the original purchaser on a one time only basis. Proof of purchase must be supplied. As at 1 st January 2015, the fees are as follow RODS REELS Camo-Stik $40 + Freight Verto $40 + Freight Featherlight $60 + Freight MSXi $80 + Freight Masterclass $80 + Freight M2500 $100 + Freight As Austackle is constantly making new models or upgrading existing models, if an exact replacement is not available, the customer will be offered the closest available model under this service. 4
