1 EVENT SPONSORSHIPS To whom it may concern: The City of Tahlequah is fortunate to be named the host city for the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series National Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops this coming July. Collaborating with Northeastern State University and the Cherokee Nation, Tour Tahlequah is hard at work to ensure we are the best host city Bassmaster has encountered. We can achieve the highest level of efficiency, effectiveness and overall experience with your help. We have received a large donation from the Cherokee Nation and are working closely with them. We are working diligently with NSU for banquet facilities, dorm rooms, parking for the anglers and weigh-in areas. The Holiday Inn has agreed to be our host hotel. The City of Tahlequah is in full support of this event, and we are currently working with emergency services, fire, police, etc. to ensure the quality of safety for our guests. The Greater Tenkiller Area Association is proud to offer Cherokee Landing as the anglers' point of entrance to Lake Tenkiller. We are moving forward quickly, though there will still be many areas of monetary support and volunteers needed. The enclosed information will show what levels of sponsorship are available, minimal host responsibilities and an overall view of the week. We are looking to secure many items beyond this list, as well, and I would enjoy speaking with you more regarding these needs. 2 EVENT SUMMARY EVENT SPONSORSHIPS The Carhartt Bassmaster College Series National Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops provides the opportunity for college anglers from across the country to compete at a national level. Anglers participating in the championship tournament must first qualify by competing in qualifying tournaments during the season. At the national championship, one college angler will earn a berth in the biggest tournament in bass fishing: the Bassmaster Classic. The Carhartt Bassmaster College Series National Championship is a week-long event, taking place in Tahlequah July Anglers arrive on Sunday of tournament week, practicing the mornings of Monday through Wednesday and competing Thursday through Saturday. While the anglers are on the water, tournament sponsors and staff collaborate to present a series of events for the anglers, fans and community. Event attendance averages 1,000-1,500 spectators each day with weigh-in attendance reaching more than 3,000. Weigh-ins are broadcasted live on Bassmaster.com each day. The tournament week is captured and aired at a later date on ESPNU. HOST RESPONSIBILITIES SPACE LODGING Meeting space for people Venue for weigh-in Parking area to stage and hold 90 boats with overnight security 10 comped hotel rooms for five nights Dorm rooms at discounted rate for anglers Discounted room rate at host hotels ADDITIONAL Overnight security for the expo area, weigh-in area, and the stage and hold boat location Assistance with local PD, FD, and any other government organizations for angle traffic control and spectator traffic control Complimentary waste management services and assistance with daily clean up Emergency personnel with at least American Red Cross First Responder status Complimentary electric and water hook ups Complimentary install of internet service for live streaming of weigh in Approximately 288 bags of ice to cool water tanks during weigh-in process Assistance with discounted or complimentary ramp fees A host fee of $25,000
