1 2018 UPDATED Competition Information TEAM CHECK-IN AND START TIME 11:00 AM - Team Check-In: Teams will enter through the first floor doors of the Field House (FH) near the loading dock of the parking garage. Look for an inflatable Pouncer. 11:00 AM Spectator Doors Open: spectators will Enter the Field House (FH) on the second floor; either via the ramp from Zach Curlin Parking Garage or ramp near Rose Theater (RTH). 1:00 PM Competition Starts *See second page for campus map. SPECTATOR FEE Adults (12 years and older) = $10.00 Children (6-12 years old) = $5.00 Children (5 and under) = Free SPECIALTY AWARDS Cheri Ganong Robinson Team award This is a special award presented to a team that is personally selected by Cheri Ganong Robinson. The team may or may not be the winner in their competing category. Selection will be based on the strength execution choreography and overall effect of teams performance determined by Cheri Ganong Robinson. Cheri Ganong Robinson Dancer Award This is a special award presented to a dancer that is personally selected by Cheri Ganong Robinson. The dancer will be selected based on strength, execution, choreography and overall effect demonstrated in either a solo or team performance determined by Cheri Ganong Robinson. Outstanding Memphis Game Day Performance Presented to a cheer or dance team that competed in the Memphis Game Day Division who the judges felt had the most outstanding performance. The team may or may not be the winner in the competing category. Grand Champion Team Award The team with the highest overall score of the Memphis Pom Legacy Dance Competition will earn the Grand Champion Team Award and receive Grand Champion Hoodies. Grand Champion Game Day Award The team with the highest overall score in the Game Day Division of the Memphis Pom Legacy Dance Competition will earn the Grand Champion Game Day Award and receive Grand Champion Game Day Hoodies.

3 How to Enter: The 2018 Individual / Team LEGACY SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST! Enter Today! Individuals: Post a photo of your best dance/cheer pose with a unique Memphis-inspired background to Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter using #LegacyComp2018! There is no age limit so the Individual contest is open to all! Teams: The Team Contest is for Legacy Dance Competition Participants only! Post a photo of your team as you prepare for the 2018 Legacy Dance Competition to Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter using #LegacyComp2018! The combined number of likes the photo receives from the social media outlets will determine the winner who will be announced at the 2018 Legacy Dance Competition on October 21 st! Deadline to submit photos: Friday, October 19 th by 10:00 PM
