Index Cards The following index cards and photographs were transferred in their original order from drawers in wooden cabinets into card file boxes. Organized in chronological order by the seven areas designated in the survey, cards for Areas V-VII were removed from the cabinets and sent to the RBS Field Office in Boise, Idaho, prior to the accession of these records by the OSU Archives.

2 Photographs of Areas V-VII were found in the cabinets, however, and accessioned along with the index cards. The geographic range of the seven areas are described below: Area I: Washington side of the Columbia River from the mouth through the Klickitat River. Area II: Oregon side of the Columbia River from the mouth up to but not including the Deschutes River. Area III: Above the Klickitat River to Coulee Dam (Washington side only below the mouth of the Snake River) Area IV: Oregon side of the Columbia River from the Deschutes River to the Snake River. Area V: Snake River from its mouth through the Grand Ronde River. Area VI: Snake River from above the Grand Ronde River through the Payette River. Area VII: Sanke River from above Payette River to Upper Salmon Falls.
