1 How to use my FishHunter Directional 3D Thank you for purchasing FishHunter Directional 3D, The Most Powerful Portable Fish Finder EVER. Pease find below a quick overview of how your new sonar works and how to use it. How to use my FishHunter Directional 3D 1

2 Connecting your FishHunter Directional 3D for the FIRST TIME. 1. Download the FishHunter Pro app from the Google play or IOS app store 2. Create an account inside the app by opening the app and following the steps on the screen. 3. Ensure you have charged your FishHunter Directional 3D for 4 hours before first usage. You will know it is charged, because a green light will appear in the top. 4. Tether your FishHunter to the braided line on the end of your fishing rod or to the red leash that was provided in your box. 5. Drop the FishHunter into the water beside your current position. Please note that in order for you to see your sonar readings on your screen you will need to be in a minimum of 4ft of water. Otherwise, the sonar will not be able to detect the water bottom and will present a depth of 0 on your screen. 6. The unit will turn on when placed in water and will start flashing red slowly from the top of the unit to let you know it is turned on and ready to go. 7. Go into your phone/tablet wifi settings and look for "FishHunter wifi". It may take up to 1 minute for it to appear initially. 8. Select "FishHunter Wifi by pressing on your phone screen where you see "FishHunter Wifi" and wait for your phone to tell you that you are "connected" to FishHunter Wifi. 3 9. Now open your FishHunter app on your smart phone or tablet and go to the "Sonar" section. Select the picture of the FishHunter sonar that you have by pressing on the "icon/picture" on the screen of your phone/tablet. You have the WIFI version and bluetooth does not apply to you. 10. Please choose the function you would like to use. a. Start fishing- allows you to use sonar and offers you 4 view modes. Please press on one of these modes to activate your sonar. i. Directional Casting ii. 3D bottom Contour iii. Bottom Mapping iv. Ice Fishing b. View Bottom Maps- allows you to see any bottom maps you created quickly c. Disconnect from sonar (only appears if sonar is connected)- will disconnect your sonar from your phone so another person/phone can connect to your sonar d. Demo mode- will allow you to see how the sonar will work when using the sonar 11. The sonar will start flashing red and will continue flashing red quickly when connected and sending information to your phone. 12. The unit will turn off when not in the water and power down. 4 1. You must place FishHunterTM Directional 3D in water for it to turn on (it must be in 4ft of water or more to work correctly). 2. Open your WIFI settings and choose "FishHunterTM Wifi" 3. Open the FishHunterTM app and go into the sonar section 4. Choose the "FishHunter Directional 3D sonar icon" 5. Choose "Start Fishing" 6. Cast/drop FishHunterTM into the water at the area you would like to map 7. Select "Directional Casting" icon within the FishHunter app from your phone/tablet screen 8. Each of the round circles on the phone/tablet screen represents one of the 5 transducers on the bottom of the FishHunterTM Directional 3D How to use my FishHunter Directional 3D 4

5 9. When you see those circles turn red with a number in it, that means fish have been detected below that transducer with the number being their depth 10. Now you know where the fish are and their depth in relation to your floating FishHunterTM Directional 3D 11. Cast you line towards the area of the sonar that keeps lighting up (turning red) to catch more fish 12. Want to see the raw sonar data from any of the 5 transducers? Open the FishHunterTM app and go into the sonar section 4. Choose the "FishHunterTM Directional 3D sonar icon" 5. Choose "Start Fishing" 6. Cast/drop FishHunterTM into the water at the area you would like to map 7. Select "Bottom Mapping" icon within the FishHunter app from your phone/ tablet screen 8. Cast/drop FishHunterTM into the water at the area you would like to map 7. Select "3D Bottom" icon within the FishHunter app from your phone/tablet screen 8. 8 1. Clean any snow debris from your ice hole 2. You must place FishHunterTM Directional 3D in water for it to turn on(it must be in 4ft of water or more to work correctly), so place it in your ice hole 3. Open your WIFI settings and choose "FishHunterTM Wifi" 4. Open the FishHunterTM app and go into the sonar section 5. Choose the "FishHunter Directional 3D sonar icon" 6. Choose "Start Fishing" 7. Select the "Ice Fishing " icon within the FishHunter app from your phone/ tablet screen 8.
